Detailed tour of the palace and prison before entering the basilica. Wasnt expecting theamount of art work in the palace.

The experience was not really as expected - our guide was incredibly knowledgeable but the equipment was really crappy and kept falling off my ear (I wasn’t the only one) - she also spoke wry quickly and was difficult to understand - the places were cool but I thought it was expensive for what you actually got - would not recommend

The skip the line benefit was well worth it and Sandra was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who spoke excellent English. Both the Doge Palace and Saint Mark’s Basilica were beautiful and we were all amazed with the amount of gold leaf there is throughout both. Highly recommend this tour.

Annabianca led a great tour full of information and history, but not in a boring way. Good timings and glad we went early as it got busy in the basilica near the end.

If people have mobility issues, please note that Doges Palace has a few staircases/steps. Overall, a great tour.

Our guide, Philippe, was very knowledgeable & made our tour so interesting. He was quick witted & told the history of the Doges in an entertaining fashion that kept your attention. There was no waiting in long lines to get into the museum & St Mark’s.

Our guide, Joy, was amazing, knowledgable, and her Italian accent made it feel so local. She was kind and held command gently. Such a great experience!

The tour guide, Fillipo, was fantastic. He was funny, engaging and covered a lot of background and history about Venice the Basilica and the Doge Palace. I really enjoyed listening to him. While the tour itself was fine, I was disappointed that there was no toilet provided in the City Wonder's (tour operator), meeting space/office, where the tour group registered and waited for the tour to begin. When I mentioned this to the lady on duty there, saying that it was not right that a toilet is not provided for customers, she gave me a flippant answer saying "often there are many things that are not right in the world"!! Shows a stunning lack of customer care and absolutely no concern or respect for the customer's basic needs!!

Go on your own. It was worth seeing but we couldn't hear our guide. The listening devices were horrible and our guide didn't speak good English. Just about everyone in the group of 22 people took off the listening devices and just walked through tolhe tour. I really think we shoud be offered at least half of our money back.

The express tour (2 hours) was perfect for me. If you want to spend more time in St Mark’s or the Doge there are longer tours, Tour was very informative!
