What an amazing experience. Rome was amazing and took us to some amazing restaurants in Venice to try local Food and wine. He also provided a very educational tour of the history of Venice. I would highly recommend this tour.

We tried so many unique foods and wines in addition to learning more about the history and daily life in Venice. We highly recommend this tour, especially at the beginning of your trip to help acclimate you to what you should look for during your stay.
Denys was wonderful. He took us to numerous places, food was delicious, drinks were plentiful, and he kept everything interesting and fun!
We joined this food tour in Venice on 1 April, hoping for an authentic, behind-the-scenes culinary experience. While our guide was kind and reasonably knowledgeable, the tour overall didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The first two stops had a nice mix of local flavour and historical context, but starting with seafood may not suit everyone. After that, the experience felt a bit disjointed – lots of walking with limited commentary, and the lunch stop was underwhelming. The lasagne lacked flavour and quality, which was disappointing. The gelato came from a chain we later saw multiple times around the city, and while the tiramisù demonstration was interesting, we enjoyed better versions elsewhere during our stay. We were hoping for something more immersive, with exceptional food from small, authentic, family-run spots. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it didn’t quite deliver the depth or quality we’ve come to appreciate from food tours in other destinations. Hopefully, some small tweaks could make this a more memorable and meaningful experience in future.
Good experience with the restaurant nice time with my friends food was good and staff was very friendly recommended to go
An excellent informative tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and had time to answer all our questions. We were take to some lovely authentic cafes and bars that we would not have found on our won and had time to purchase drinks along the way that were not included. Great friendly small group international people to chat to which was nice, highly recommended.
Julia was delightful and informative. We enjoyed her insights into Venetian food and wine culture and she also shared lots of other interesting tidbits. We would recommend this tour to friends
less than stellar. guide was walking too fast and got lost in the crowds a few times. not much hx or information. disappointing
Actually, I need to say that the described tour was cancelled; I ended up taking the “food tour”, 2.5 hrs I am glad it was switched; it was perfect. Ans was very knowledgeable, passionate and very funny. Being still jet lagged, I think the other tour would have been a bit long Great tour if you want to experience and learn about Venitian typical food Loved it
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the tour included many stops for food and wine to keep you full and happy. :)
The food and wine was amazing. And there was plenty of wine. The tour through the market was enjoyable and informative. If you have a few days in Venice then make sure to do this early and you will want to return to some of these places.
Our guide Ana was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging!! We had a small group so it was easy for us to move around the city and to hear everything that Ana had to say. The food we sampled was delicious and the various places we visited were very charming. My husband and I would definitely take this tour again!
Eating new foods. Seeing parts of venice I would not have explored on my own. Our guide, Anna, was knowledgeable, cheerful and patient.
I have done a few food tours, and this one was by far the best. Our tour guide Dennis was amazing. We had plenty of food and drink throughout the tour along with some great information about the city. I would highly recommend using this company. go to this tour hungry because there is delicious food and drink
Our tour guide, “Denis from Venice”, was very personable! He gave us background about the food, the store owners, and the areas we visited. This is a great way to get to know Venice and the culture!
Wonderful tour! Denys was so kind and knowledgeable. Never felt rushed. We had some great food that even my picky husband really enjoyed. We were able to see the "real" Venice - he showed us some tiny places that we never would've found on our own. Highly recommend!
Denys was an excellent guide. The wine tasting selections were great. The variety of food tastings were interesting. I tried many new things. The lunch was excellent. Denys was a lot of fun he is very good at leading food tours. It was my favorite tour in Italy. 🥂
We took a tour with Denys and it was wonderful! He was a great guide that had a lot of knowledge, was patient, and seemingly very well organized. Every stop was amazing; we had 6 total stops and every bite and wine was delicious. We really got a good bang for our buck and would recommend this tour to anyone looking for more authentic places to eat in Venice.
Denys provided us a wide variety of tasting experiences among many establishments in Venice. Both wine and food had great stories that he shared.
For our family that loves to eat, this is the perfect was to learn about the city. Dennis was amazing and we tried a wonderful variety of wines, cheeses, and cicchetti. Would recommend 100%
A fascinating and enjoyable tour with plenty of interesting historical and culinary facts. Plenty of good food and drinks. Great value tour.
This food tour was so fun! Ana was an amazing guide full of Venezia history with a great sense of humor. She gave us an authentic view of this great city. Thank you Ana! The variety of food and wine was also fantastic and we were so full after this tour. Also, use Google maps rather than Apple Maps to find the meet up location.
By far our best tour in Italy. The tour guide shared all the history of the charming restaurants (she studied Venice history), took us to the best restaurants, and helped us appreciate this amazing part of the world. What an incredible tour. Something we will always remember.
Absolutely brilliant! Too much food! LoL Vanessa was very knowledgeable and passionate about her city! A great tour of Venice
Ana was amazing! it felt like we were just hanging with an old friend. the food was delicious and it was so nice to get some more history behind Venice and the food culture there. i’d highly recommend this tour :)
Very interesting history-tales, lots of tasting, 4 hours guided by a charming young woman. Thank you Silvia🤗
Our guide, Anna, was wonderful. And SO MUCH FOOD! All delicious too. Highly recommend - bring your appetite and good walking shoes!0
Silvia was a fun and energetic guide as we navigated through Venice, eating and drinking at the oldest bacaras and hearing the stories. The food was very good and the wines even better. It was our favorite tour of the trip! Thank you Silvia!
Guide did not show up at the appointed time and meeting place. It is unprofessional to leave a client waiting without any effort to communicate or apologise. I can only hope that my money is refunded.
We had a great food tour with Ana. The market was closed the day we went (Monday), but that didn't matter as it appears the market is quite small and there's plenty of great places to eat in the surrounding neighborhood. I enjoyed learning about Venice, its history and culture, and of course, its food. Speaking of food, there was so much of it - and so much wine! I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Venice.
My husband and I enjoy experiencing food/wine tours whenever we visit new places because we feel it’s a great way to learn about the area, and the traditional foods in venues that are usually local favorites. Ana was our guide, and she was awesome! We met some great people during the tour, and we had such a great time. The food venues we visited were fabulous, and Ana shared so many interesting tidbits about the food, the places we visited, and historical information about the area. Highly recommend this tour!!
We met our guide Anna at the departure point and as it turned out, we were the only 2 on the tour! She took us to the Farmer's market as well 6 different food places. Began with a bakery followed by 4 eating establishments, all with alcohol, and ending with melt in your mouth tiramisu. We were worried it would be too much food but over 4 hours it worked out perfectly. So glad we signed up for this unique adventure.
My friend and I had such a wonderful experience with our guide Anna, who everyone else said was the best. And surely she was. She was familiar with history, culture, and the whole city of Venice. With her guide, we gained a very good understanding not only of the food but also of the past and the present of the city. However, this trip could have been perfect if we had been told that the market was always closed on Sunday. When we made the booking, there wasn’t any information about this. It was the solo pity of the whole trip. After all, no one should miss this rich colorful Rialto Market.
The meeting place was easy to find though there were other tours departing so it took me a couple of attempts to find the right one! We were a group of 7 which felt just right. Our guide (Ana?) was excellent - lots of information but not overload. She made sure we got business cards and the names of wines etc for each stop. The places visited were great and I will certainly be returning to a couple of them. I also tried some new dishes which will definitely warrant repeating. Although we filled in a survey for the company, there was no hints or pressure about giving Trip Adviser reviews though I am very happy to recommend this to anyone. Although I did already know about it, the recommendation for the roof terrace at Fodaco dei Tedeschi was a great touch too.
Took a tour with Sylvia. There was only my wife and I on the tour. Sylvia was fantastic. Friendly, easy going and very very knowledgeable. The tour flew by. Highly recommended
Monica was a superb guide! Lots of local knowledge, fun, and customized the tour for the small size of our group and our tastes. This is the perfect tour for foodies that want to truly experience local flavor and try new things. Getting a little history along the way really enhanced the experience. The tour is structured so nicely that all the food and wine costs are already taken care of, so you can just enjoy sampling the food and just enjoy your time. I would absolutely do this tour again!
We were enchanted with interesting side stories on the food and drink that we enjoyed. Silvia was very informative and fun.
Fantastic tour. We visited places that I would never have found, eating superb food and tasting local wine. Our guide was great, informative but not Ott. The food was superb, 13 item plus wines and Prosecco, plus a formal lunch. Definitely worth the money. I’d recommend without a shadow of doubt.
We had so much fun with Ana exploring & discovering Venice!! Enjoyed all the delicious dishes & wines in the local hidden gem places. Thanks again Ana for taking great care of us!!
Highly suggest this! It was excellent. The meeting spot was easy to find and the tour guide was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable of the area, spoke very clear English and made the whole experience enjoyable. My husband and I went on a Sunday so the market was closed (I'm sure the tour is different when the market is open) but it was wonderful none the less. We learned some great history (but not so much that we were bored or standing around). The food we tried was great and there were plenty of drinks! I would (and have) definitely suggest this to friends/family planning to go to Venice.
We ate and drank our way through a wonderful tour! Our guide (Sylvia) was fun and knowledgeable about food, wine and the history of the area. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. This is a must do experience in Venice.
The tour was fantastic! Anna the tour guide was great, food was delicious and plenty of drink! Definitely recommend this tour and well worth the money!
The tour was excellent. Our guide (Ana) was really informative and had a good sense of humor, which helped make the tour fun as well. We went to numerous different local small restaurants and bars that we never would have found by ourselves. Had a lot of different appetizers and small food samplings, along with many local wines and prosecco as well. Very good tour, would highly recommend.
This is a fabulous food tour. Our guide Monica was fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly. This was a small group tour and despite the heavy rain we had a wonderful time. We went to five different places and all the food was delicious. We will think about the food we sampled for a long, long time. Each stop was accompanied with wine or another beverage. It is so worth the cost of this tour. If in Venice, don't miss this fun, informative and delicious tour.
Unfortunately we attended on a Sunday and the market was closed, we were instead treated to at least 5 different food/drink tasting of local foods in various venues around Venice, with lots of history and information on the way! It was a wonderful tour and the guide was friendly, very informative and interesting!
We loved our Rialto Farmers Market Food and Wine Tour. Alice made the trip very interesting and extremely fun. We were introduced to cicheti, risotto and many other foods AND the wines were flavorful and plentiful. We went to ristorantes and cantinas and ate and drank as "locals". It was wonderful being in parts of Venice that tourists don't normally visit.
This was a great tour and our local guide Alice was fabulous. We ate a LOT so you need to be hungry and of course delicious wine. Great to hear the history and local information about Venice.
We went on this tour at the end of March 2019. Our guide was Monica, who was lovely. She took us around many of the streets in Venice that you may not have found had you been on your own. We started off with our first tasting with sardines and wine. Monica kept the drink flowing, offering beer if wine was not to your taste! In fact at each venue, Monica made sure if you wanted more drink, you could have it. At other venues we had pasta, tiramisu and many other delicacies, always accompanied by a different beverage. It was an excellent tour, with good food and drink, and it was also nice to meet others on the tour as well. We had American and Germans on ours. This is a great way to see the city, meet new people. My only wish was that it could have started an hour later, maybe at 12.30/1 pm as having not long had my breakfast, the first venue I did not do justice too. It is a small complaint that it was just a bit too early to start drinking at 11.30.........but I did give it a good go, and I'm sure more seasoned pros would not be put of by a having a glass or two before midday!
We did the 4 hour food and wine tour round the Rialto area. It was awesome! The food was delicious and plentiful as was the wine. Nothing was too much trouble for the guide Monica who gave us a good tour full of interesting facts! The tour was great because it took us to places we wouldn’t have found had we just been wondering around I definitely recommend this tour
We loved our Venetian food and drink tour - with the added bonus of sightseeing too. Five venues, lots to eat and drink and interesting facts thrown in.
