Private Photoshoot On Personal Gondola In Venice

Photographer was very friendly, professional and down to earth. She took us to several beautiful locations and the poses felt awkward at times but turned out BEAUTIFULLY! We could not be more pleased with her work! The process of waiting for the photos took 7 days. We thought it would be quicker but the picster team through Viator was slow. Very happy though with the photos themselves and worth the price to have beautifully captured memories!

A wonderful experience! We were lucky to have such a lovely photographer and gondolier. The gondola ride was magical, and we received beautiful photos that will help us remember this very special day forever. Please note that this ride doesn’t include the Doge’s Palace from the water; it only goes through the small canals, then passes via the Rialto Bridge before returning to the starting point. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. Highly recommended!

At the time of the experience it felt Great Marinella the photographer was super nice and seemed to know what she was doing and had a professional looking camera and helped us not waste time getting the Gondola when they were busy. All our problems were with getting the pictures and video. It says we would receive everything within 48 hours. We had to basically harass herand escalate through Viator we received the pictures almost 2 weeks after our trip ended and the video was an additional 4 days after that. Additionally, the quality was horrible. We ended up having to pay an additional $50 so we could get all of the pictures above the “touched up” 50 pictures and it said 18:00 min of video and she changed it to a compilation 30 second video that was not edited well at all. We now have to take it all here to a professional in the United States and pay a lot more.

I'm very happy we chose this activity with a professional photographer. The pictures turned out really awesome and we love them! Our photographer Mary was really great and very attentive and accommodating. We were with a 3.5 year old kid and it was raining a little bit, but she managed to make it very smooth for us and the photos turned out really beautiful. It also allowed us to truly enjoy the gondola ride without being distracted of taking photos ourselves. Strongly recommend!

Photographer Miraç Koçak was already waiting for us when we arrived at the meeting place. Very easy to find, he was very polite and helpful the whole time. Explained everything to us and answered all the questions we had. You're lucky if he's your photographer! The gondola guy seemed to be having a great time too and was aura farming in some pictures which made them even better 😅 overall 10/10 experience

Somehow, all the stars and planets aligned to bring us to Mary. She was not only our photographer, but also our guide for our engagement ceremony in Venice, Italy. Mary arranged our gondola ride and took care of every detail and everything was absolutely PERFECT! She seemed to know all the important people, which made it possible for us to take pictures in places and ways that others simply couldn’t. They all knew Mary too, and it seemed like they rolled out the red carpet wherever we went! Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine excitement for our special day made the entire experience even more memorable. Our photo shoot was absolutely amazing. Marínela was timely, communicative and professional. She was easy to communicate with in the days before and during our shoot gave clear directions providing us with inspiration for our photos including framing, poses, lighting. When things went slightly awry she was patient and helpful, ensuring we got everything we wanted; including a proposal surrounded by our family. Could not recommend enough.

We booked the private photoshoot on personal gondola and Dan was assigned to be our photographer. Dan is a great and professional photographer and made our experience absolutely amazing. The gondola took us to beautiful spots in Venice and Dan made the whole session feel relaxed. We look forward for a great set of photos and video of our photoshoot!

We decided to do this instead of the typical gondola ride in Venice which was a huge mistake. The ride doesn’t take you to the best canals and is shortened so they don’t have to pay as much for the gondola ride. The photos in the gondola are terrible and not timed / taken well. Your view gets blocked by the photographer and she won’t take the pictures you want. Really regret booking this experience. Should have just done a normal gondola ride without the photographer in the way. My iPhone photos were better.

Booking this private photography session with Daniel was one of the best decisions we made during our trip to Venice. It wasn't just a photo shoot—it became one of our favorite travel experiences. Daniel has an incredible eye for light, composition, and capturing authentic moments that never felt staged or awkward. My husband and I aren't naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but within minutes Daniel had us completely at ease. The session felt more like an evening stroll through Venice with a knowledgeable local than a formal photo shoot. The weather that evening was brutal—over 95°F with high humidity—and we were absolutely melting. Looking at the finished photos, though, you'd never know it. The editing is exceptional. Somehow the editing team that retouched Daniel's images managed to erase every sign of the heat (including the sweat marks that had soaked through my husband's linen shirt!) while keeping the images looking completely natural. The final gallery is polished without looking over-edited. The only small downside was that receiving the edited photos and video took longer than we originally expected. We were so excited to see the results that the extra wait felt difficult. That said, every time I reached out, the experience provider responded promptly and professionally with updates, and once we received everything, it was obvious why the editing took time. The quality was absolutely worth the wait. These photos have become so much more than vacation pictures—they instantly transport us back to our final evening in Venice. Years from now, they'll bring back memories that a quick selfie never could. If you're considering this experience, don't hesitate. Skip a souvenir you'll probably forget and invest in memories you'll treasure for a lifetime. I couldn't recommend Daniel (check out his Instagram @venice.photo.stories) and this private photo shoot experience more highly.

Have fun and enjoy yourself. We felt like celebrities, with all the people watching us. The photographer new the area well and took us to areas we would have never seen.

Don’t pay for a photographer, my pictures are mediocre! After activity, you are then asked to pay an additional fee for your other images!! My initial gallery isn’t impressive. I asked the photographer to take more photos of us smiling., a bit more staged to ensure we would have 1 good picture. I was told no, it doesn’t need to look staged, the result, 2 good images! Save your money! This isn’t worth the cost!

We had a great photographer! Mary was excellent. Starting first thing in the morning before the crowds was great. Had a great gondola experience, and then pictures by st maro. The experience was great, have not received pictures (24 hours later) but very happy with the photographer experience.

We had a wonderful experience with our photographer Meri. She was patient and took her time and took us to all the great spots for the photos . The Gondola ride was also fun, and my 4 year old and 12 year old loved it. I highly recommend this activity. The photos are a wonderful memory that will last a lifetime .

Absolutely a fantastic experience, Mary showed up on time and had a terrific personality which made us very comfortable. My wife and I were celebrating our 30 year anniversary and had never hired a professional photographer, Venice was the perfect spot. She had the perfect spots to take pictures and helped us with some posing. Highly recommend.

The photo shoot was absolutely amazing. Mary was the photographer and she did a fantastic job finding locations with the perfect backdrop and lighting to make the most memorable photos possible. You are missing out on documenting some amazing memories if you don’t do this photo shoot.

It’s nice to have a guided tour with your photos taken as a couple and a video created - creates good memories. The photographer Reyna was awesome. However, it made no sense that after paying so much, the tour company would put these pics and video on pixter where it cost another 50 euros (yes you read that right) to download them.

My friend and I had a great time during our Venice photoshoot! We’ve been friends and traveled together for 30 years. This felt like the right way to capture a trip to this magnificent city. We booked a last-minute photo session with Manjola during my mom and I’s girls trip to Venice, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The experience was absolutely amazing! Manjola took us to so many beautiful spots in Rome and made the whole session feel fun, relaxed, and special. My mom is elderly, and Manjola was incredibly patient, kind, and thoughtful the entire time. She made sure we were comfortable and helped make the experience truly enjoyable for both of us. We had the absolute best experience with Mimoza during Carnival in Venice. The crowds were intense, but she navigated everything so smoothly and made it feel effortless. She knew exactly how to guide us through the busy streets and somehow always found the most beautiful, less crowded spots for photos. We received a message from our photographer Daniel as the time approached. Meeting up and the whole experience was excellent and professional. Daniel was awesome to talk to and work with. Picster has been amazing in getting us the photos as well as with communications both before and well after the experience. we would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it. It was well worth the cost and was one of the highlights of our trip.

She met my daughter and me for a private gondola ride and captured beautiful photos along the canals, as well as at several historic locations around the city. She was incredibly friendly, easy to work with, and made the whole session feel relaxed and fun. The photos turned out great—highly recommend!

It was a beautiful morning and the photographer took us around to several iconic photospots. Overall a good experience. The gondolier laughed at the idea of singing, which was a bit disappointing because the plan itinerary implied thay was part of the experience. Of the 50 photos, some were great but others were strange choices - awkward posed or expressions were chosen from the overall set. I think this is more the photo editing company than the photographer, and we did have a good time, though its a shame to only like a 3rd of the 50 photos at this price.

We got some great photos of Venice attractions. Mary was great and messaged us shortly before we were due to meet, confirming the timings. When we couldn't find her immediately, she provided some additional information to help us locate her. We didn't have to wait for a gondola. After the gondola ride, she took us to some other spots nearby for photos and helped us with our poses. As others have mentioned, when the photos are received, there is an opportunity to purchase more, but you are unable to view them before committing. We didn't bother as we had what we wanted.

Although we haven’t seen the finished product we saw some of the pictures that Marti was taking and they were great. She took great candid shots and action shots for the video. The locations were beautiful and the gondola ride was wonderful. We highly recommend the experience.
