Fantastic. Greeted by tour guide at hotel on time and enthusiastic. Knowledgeable tour of the grand canal and please ride to Murano. The glass factory tour was above and beyond our expectations. Knowledgeable and experienced more than demonstration it was actual work. Plenty of flexibility on time to shop ending with a Prosecco. Christina our guide was excellent.
Wow, Giuseppe is running an actual professional shop here. We’ve traveled A LOT (over 50 countries and counting). I’ve stayed at more 5+ star hotels than I can remember. Trust me when I say Giuseppe is the real deal. Comparable to St. Regis customer service, but with friendly service from real locals. Can’t recommend enough.
Great guide, Kristina was informative and very personable. We would return just to have her show us around in more detail.
Our tour guide was wonderful but we do not feel the experience was worth the expense. We also felt very pressured at the Murano Glass blowing part of the tour. I do not feel that the quality was due tonthe tour guide, but the tour company that planned the excursion.
This was a awesome excursion for our family of 10. Monica was the guide and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She helped us in Saint Marks Square to find an ATM. The Marano glass factory was very interesting & the showroom was amazing. Beautiful pieces of art glass work. We all enjoyed this morning in Venice.
Monica was a wonderful tour guide! Very knowledgeable, came prepared with visuals to teach us the history, and very kind. She was a joy to tour with!
Great way to see the city and get some advice from locals on where to go. Glass tour was interesting as well.
Amazing experience. The tour of Venice covered all the main points and kept our attention without taking an entire day. Great for with kids who want the history but don’t want a 4-6 hour tour. The glass blowing tour kept even my teenage boys entertained. Amazing service, kept us informed and arrived on time. I’d definitely recommend to anyone.
Guide and water transportation picked us up at our hotel on time. Guide was very friendly - knowledgeable and accommodating. The glass experience was incredible - the artist made several pieces in front of us. Opportunity to view and purchase pieces. The family at the glass shoppe was superb - they even made a couple of special requests for us while we waited and watched. Guide then took us to a lunch spot she recommended - walked us to the spot and introduced us to the owners who treated us like royalty - with no reservation on a packed day. All in all - a great time for my family
Our guide Paula was the absolute greatest. Could' t ask for anyone better. Without her help, we would not have been ahle to complete tour
I had very weird charges on my credit card after using it on this website! Be careful , i didn’t use this credit card on any other website or any other purchase just this one! and suddenly i find 5700 euroes the. 3000 euroes charge on my card which was declined fortunately! this is unacceptable and very weird! be careful
This tour was the perfect start to my Venice vacation. Our tour guide Maria was a delight and extremely knowledgable. She was also eternally patient as my family lingered at the Murano Glass showroom. Highly recommended.
Cannot recommend enough! We had the pleasure of spending the morning with Federica who carefully and confidently detailed the history and culture of Venice, while we leisurely toured the Grand Canal via private water taxi. We were also lucky to be led through the B. Signoretti Factory on Murano with a private tour from Vania (she was amazing — so charming and full of incredible tidbits about the craftsmanship of the products and history of the various artists as she walked us through the factory and beautiful showroom). It was unforgettable!
Had a fabulous time touring the glass factory in Murano! Our guide was terrific!! :) Would definitely recommend..bring your wallet b/c the items for sale are great quality but very expensive!!
We had an amazing time with Monica. She took great care of us and was full of information along the Grand Canal Tour. Once we arrived at Murano we had the best demonstration of glass blowing and how to make different items out of glass. We toured the showroom and it was just incredible to see the beautiful art!
This was a perfect way to see the city and understand why it is where it is and the wonderful history. Nora was an absolutely perfect guide. She is so knowledgeable, so nice and was a fun, positive person to spend our day with. The Grand Canal ride showcased the beautiful buildings of Venice as most of them have their “good side” towards the canal. The photo opportunities were immense. We then went out to Moreno to see the glass factory. It was a Saturday so there was just one man working and it was just to demonstrate the work. Very interesting to see the technique they use to form and blow the glass. This is followed by a tour through room after room of the glass creations. The pieces were beautiful. The only downside is the heavy handed selling by the person that takes you through the rooms. This was not Nora. That made it harder to appreciate the pieces. I understand why they do this but I didn’t love that part. The highlight of this tour was another stop in Burano. The island is covered in beautifully painted houses. Again, great photos. We had lunch at a fabulous restaurant, Trattoria al Gatto Nero. Wonderful seafood. I would highly suggest adding this stop to your tour. It was the highlight for us. It is a quaint little island that you would otherwise miss. Overall a fantastic tour. Make she to ask for Nora, she was the best!!!!!
This was our 3rd tour with Viator this vacation trip and bar far the best! Giacomo was terrific. The tour was fun and informative and he even helped us with our evening plans. I would definitely recommend this tour and would suggest you ask for Giacomo!
Upon pick up it was in fact a private boat taxi which was very nice. You go straight to the glass experience where you are basically taken to shop the tour guide disappears while you are sold expensive goods. I’m guilty I fell for it and bought a few things. Upon leaving there was an old boat with 5 other people in it, the tour guide said it was the last boat the problem with that is you book and pay for a PRIVATE BOAT!!! So it’s completely false advertisement. Net net you can just pay for a boat taxi and be on your own agenda for the day and achieve the same thing. I honestly believe I should get half my money back as the second boat was not as advertised. Hope this helps anyone considering this! Not worth it at all.
We enjoyed our boat tour on the Grand Canal very much! It was wonderful having perspective from the water with history included. The Murano experience was also a great experience and we're very happy we went and saw the factory

The tour is a 5-star event, but the logistics of meeting up with our guide subtracted from an otherwise great experience. First the bad - I booked this tour because it had an option to pick us up at our hotel. I put the hotel and the address in the computer when I booked the tour. But the website did not have an option to pick a start time although several options were listed. So I called the local tour company to set up a start time. While I was talking to the agent she confirmed our hotel information and told us that our guide would meet us at the public toilets at 1pm. Not being familiar with the area around our hotel, I assumed there were public toilets nearby and they would be easy to find. After 30 minutes of looking for the pickup point I got a text from our guide asking if we were near the meeting place on the island of Venice! She said we were supposed to meet her near the Grand Canal on Venice. We were on the mainland at Mestre at this point. It took us another 40 minutes to get to the train station in Mestre and get to Venice. I feel like there were chances on either the website or when I talked to the tour company to clarify the pickup location or tell me they did not pick up on the mainland. I feel I paid for something I didn't get with the hotel pick up. The guide later told me they don't pick up on the mainland.

But the tour was great. By far the best way to see Venice. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The views were spectacular and we now have a much greater appreciation for Venice than if we had tried to walk and see the sights on our own. The Murano glass tour was also fascinating its a family business since the mid 1300's.The only downside to the glass tour is that maybe too much time is spent in their gallery - the art work is beautiful but we spent too long in their many showrooms.

I would give it 5 stars except for the confusion over the hotel pickup. Make sure you clarify that important detail and you'll have a great time!

Our first day in Venice, waiting for our hotel room, was spent on the water hearing about the history of the city, the Grand Canal and Murano. Truly a spectacular afternoon and our tour guide, Monica was fabulous. She brought incredible facts and stories about Venice, its history, its mystique to life. The trip around the canal was fabulous for first time visitors to the city as it gave us an overview of where everything was in the city. The visit to Murano was incredible, we got a private 'lesson' in glass blowing and even got to try this ancient art form. Afterwards we strolled the incredible galleries of BF Signoretti. Truly pieces of art.

My family and I took this trip in December 2017, we were really lucky with the weather, with the day being cold and bright. The trip down the grand canal with the expert guide was excellent, we all learned so much about the history of varrious areas and buildings lining the grand canal. It is a great way to get to know Venice an the major attractions like st Marks. The trip to the Murano glass works was the second part of the tour, during the trip over to the island you get some excellent views of Venice and in the distance the Alps. At the glass works you get an up close and personal demonstration of glass blowing which is excellent. The only down side is the visit to the glass shop afterwards, there are some excelent glass art works, however the price of the items in most cases are well over 1,000. Some of the pieces are over 100,000. However there is no pressure to buy, but you are followed very closely during your visit which I did not appreciate.

An excellent experience with a highly talented guide. The best way to see Venice is by boat and this tour did not disappoint. Our guide had an excellent grasp of the history and really brought the place to life. Murano glass experience was superb and watching a master glass maker at work was unforgettable.
