Private Gondola Ride With Professional Photographer In Venice

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company after our experience in Venice. We booked the Private Gondola Ride with Professional Photographer for a one-hour session and arrived at the designated meeting point exactly as instructed. No one showed up. After waiting, we reached out to the company ourselves. Their exact response was: “yes, I can see your booking now. What I think has happened is that we coincidentally had two bookings under the name of rebbeca for today. and we've mistakingly put them down as one.” I honestly find that explanation completely unacceptable. These were two separate customers with different last names, different contact information, and separate bookings. If there was any uncertainty at all, they could have called, texted, or emailed to confirm the reservations rather than simply assuming two different bookings belonged to the same person because the first names were the same. They then tried to rearrange the session and told us they could “extend the session free of charge to 1.5 hrs.” Our original booking was already for one hour, so this amounted to an extra 30 minutes. The problem was that we were only in Venice for one day. We had specifically booked this experience for that day and that time. Rescheduling was not a realistic solution for us, and offering an additional 30 minutes at another time did not make up for completely missing our confirmed reservation. What makes this especially frustrating is how easily this could have been prevented. Travelers often have very limited time in a city, and when you book and pay for a time-specific experience, you should be able to trust that the company has properly recorded your reservation. We were genuinely looking forward to this experience, and instead we spent part of our only day in Venice waiting at a meeting point for someone who was never coming. Based on our experience, I would not book with this company again. The lack of attention to something as basic as distinguishing between two separate customers and confirmed bookings is extremely concerning, especially for an experience that travelers may only have one opportunity to do.

We did a gondola ride with a photographer in Venice and had an amazing time. The photographer was extremely professional and accommodating. We are working with two young children and it was very hot outside and she made it very easy for us and our family. Our photographer‘s name was Mimoza and she was fantastic and I would highly recommend her. We enjoyed this excursion and would recommended for anybody. Also, Aaron, made the whole process very easy. Including downloading all of the pictures.

Mimi was absolutely incredible! She captured the beauty of Venice and our experience in a way we could have only dreamed of. She took us to so many beautiful locations throughout the city, capturing not only us, but the magic and character of Venice itself—including the most amazing gondola ride! Every photo was more spectacular than the last. We kept looking through them saying, “Wow!” Our pictures are truly breathtaking, and we couldn’t be happier with how beautifully Mimi captured these memories for us. She was talented, professional, and made the entire experience so special. We truly cannot say enough positive things about Mimi and her work. Thank you, Mimi, for giving us photographs that we will treasure forever!

Our family traveled from California to Venice to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and booking a photoshoot with PicTrip was one of the best decisions we made for our trip. Our photographer, Mimoza, was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met her at a small coffee shop in Venice, she made us feel completely comfortable — like we were exploring the city with an old friend rather than doing a formal photoshoot. The entire experience felt natural, relaxed, and fun, never awkward or pressured. We started with a beautiful 30-minute gondola ride through Venice, passing under the Rialto Bridge and through smaller canals that were absolutely stunning. Mimoza grew up in Venice, so she shared so much history and local knowledge with us throughout the shoot. She also knew exactly where to go during a busy weekend to avoid crowds while still finding the most beautiful scenery. We brought a flying dress for the shoot, and she knew exactly how to work with it! She captured some amazing and fun photos of our daughter wearing the dress along with a carnival mask she had bought in Venice. We also took photos on a charming small bridge and around St. Mark’s Basilica, and she even shared recommendations for local restaurants and coffee shops. The photos themselves were beyond amazing. We received 111 gorgeous images from our one-hour session and had such a difficult time narrowing them down that we ended up purchasing over 60 photos because they were all so beautiful. This experience was the perfect way to begin our first trip to Venice and gave our family memories we will treasure forever. We highly recommend PicTrip and especially Mimoza to anyone wanting beautiful photos and an unforgettable experience in Venice!

The best experience ! So happy we took the time to do a photoshoot. Our photos came out so beautiful. I had a hard time just picking 30. Manjola was so friendly and so easy to work with. We got to ride on a gondala and take photos away from the crowds in hidden Venice spots.

The best part of trip was getting our photos taken in Venice. Manjola was so easy to work with, gave us great photoshoot tips. We got to ride the Gondola and take photos away from the crowds and people. She even gave us a little history tour. Our photos are going to last us a life time. So happy we booked with Pictrip. She even got our photos back way ahead of scheduled.

Our photographer, Mimoza, was wonderful and worked very well with our kids. The pictures turned out beautifully! The gondola ride is not too long, but doesn't feel short either. I think 30 minutes when you are with young kids is enough to get the experience without it getting boring for the kids. Dario, our gondolier, was wonderful too. He even sang for us! We could've just done the gondola, but this gave us wonderful pictures that will always remind us of our amazing time in Venice.

Mimoza was a wonderful photographer and guide. Her positive energy and easy going manner put all of us instantly at ease. She took us to some beautiful spots for photos and organized a lovely gondola ride. A truly magical experience for our first family visit to Venice!

Viator scammed me and of course it was during a once in a life time opportunity, proposing. Do not trust. Paid for a 90 gondola proposal tour with professional pictures. Couldn’t get us a gondola. Finally got a 20 min ride that I had to rush proposal and no pictures. Do not trust viator with your special moment!

Great experience, phenomenal photographer. Easy to schedule, Great communication and natural photos. Mimi is easy-going, enthusiastic, funny, and really knew how to engage my family to achieve beautiful images. The light in our photos is wonderful.

We had a great experience. Mimosa was very accommodating and protectively reached out to change our time due to weather. When the weather lifted we were the first ones out on a gondola in the city. She was very helpful with tips for the city as well.

We had a lovely evening with our photographer, Elisa. She promptly arrived at the meeting point and immediately engaged in animated conversation with our daughter as we walked to our first photo location. She took beautiful photos of us at three separate city locations (of her choosing) that were incredible and demonstrative of the architecture and beauty of the city. Then we walked over to a gondola location where she negotiated use of the most elegant histrionic treasure of a gondola and we spent the next 30 minutes navigating the beautiful canals of Venice while she captured treasured keepsakes of our family vacation. We truly enjoyed our time with Elisa, and this hour was one of the top highlights of our two weeks in Europe! Then, five days later, I received over 80 extraordinary pictures from which to choose my 30 favorites included in the tour pricing (or for a nominal up-charge have them all)! She truly took time in the post-shoot editing process to pick the finest of the hundreds of photos she took during the shoot. This was a wonderful experience and left us with a fabulous memory of our time in Venice!

The photographer is helpful and friendly. We took pictures around St. Mark's Square before taking a gondola ride and having a photoshoot. The pictures are quite good and impressive, but there were many repeated shots. They provided only 30 photos for free; the rest need to be purchased. The lead time for finishing editing the pictures is quite long (5 days), and photos purchase process is little complicated.
