Ksenia was amazing. This was my first time visiting Venice. I booked the photoshoot to obviously take pictures but to also propose to my girlfriend. I was stressing out at first because I wanted to do it in an intimate location away from people and crowds. And it's so hard to plan for stuff like that when you have never been there before. Ksenia was so flexible. She found the best location for me to propose. She even helped with getting a violinist to play a song while I was doing it. We took pictures at 4 different locations total. She went above and beyond. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer

It was a great photoshoot experience with Ksenia in Venice with my husband. I had actually booked the photoshoot for May 2024 and due to unforeseen circumstances, my husband couldn't travel in 2024. I found this photographer on Trip Advisor and was not sure what to expect. She was so kind and knew all of the spots to go to! She also made us feel very comfortable and had great artistic skill in posing us. We got some unforgettable pictures on the gondola and all around the city. Exceptional! Our teen daughter did a photo shoot, but Mom and Dad jumped in for a few pics. :) I admit I was nervous booking a photographer before we arrived from the US, but Ksenia is a trustworthy, reliable professional. She communicates promptly and was kind and creative. We added on a gondola ride, so we had that experience at the same time as the photo shoot. Ksenia was very professional and kind and also very understanding since we had two small kids and getting them to pose for photos was a real task. She was there before us on time and guided us through the process. Since it was raining on the date of our photoshoot she was really helpful in rescheduling to an other date which was really helpful. She took us to these beautiful locations and asks us to pose in a certain way. At the time of our photo shoot we were busy co- ordinating and we didn’t feel the impact of the pictures she had taken. But coming back home and finding those STUNNING PICTURES after a week in our inbox was the BEST feeling in the world. Our photographer absolutely MADE this experience a good experience! Ksenia was kind, patient and had an expert eye in helping us into flattering poses. She new all the quite places in Venice to take us so our photos had amazing lighting and views, but were also free of other tourists. I stumbled across Ksenia back when I was planning our dream trip to Italy in 2019 pre-pandemic. She was wonderful to communicate with, and very accommodating to our schedule. We booked, and I sent a deposit. Covid hit and our trip was cancelled, not 1,2 but 3 times. After our first cancellation, Ksenia said to let her know whenever we would be able to make it to Italy. After three years I never expected her to honour our deposit. Once our 2023 dates were finalized, I sent an email, and she responded right away. I honestly was shocked and surprised. Ksenia suggested meeting in a quieter part a Venice. The entire experience was amazing. We got to see parts of the city we otherwise wouldn't have and received far more pictures than we were expecting. The photos were amazing, capturing our dream trip to perfection. ~Thansk you so much Ksenia

Long story short. She might be a good photographer, but I doubt she really cares much about her clients… --------------------- On October 13, I set up the date for a surprise proposal photoshoot 3 weeks later with Ksenia, according to her specific availability. Ksenia emailed me that she could do 11am or 330pm on November 3, 2023. I picked 330pm, immediately paid her the deposit she asked for and went ahead to set up the rest of my November 3 2023 morning – purchasing 2 tickets to a tower in Venice at 930am and museums at 11am. The plan was to do touristy stuff in the morning and wander around until we got to the location where Ksenia would covertly take photographs of the proposal. --------------------- However, only 3 days before I was to leave for the trip from the U.S. to Italy, Ksenia abruptly changed plans and said she could only do November 3 before noon. As you'd imagine, there was no way I could change the 930am and 11am tickets, as there were no spaces left (nowadays you need to reserve everything in Italy weeks to months beforehand). Ksenia gave me no other options other than the new 12 noon time, and abruptly cancelled. She did not state if she could do November 4 or 5, or set me up with a friend photographer who could help out, or anything else. It was a straight-to-the-point cancellation with no regard for the situation she herself placed me in. This was to be literally a surprise proposal – in another country on the other side of the planet – to the person I want to get married to. This was not a favor, nor did I receive any type of discount or anything. I actually found her on this Tripadvisor review site, so I believed I had done my homework. --------------------- In literally 2 days (just before leaving to Italy) I had to rush to find another company to help with this. Due to the short notice, 6 companies said they were not available. One company said they were only available at 8am on November 3. I then had to figure out how to make up a story as to why I needed to wake up my significant other very early to eat breakfast at 730 and rush 30 minutes north of the hotel at 8am to a non-tourist area (prior to our 930am tower visit). --------------------- The stress due to the abrupt cancellation and rush to find someone last minute was over the top. I read online about people that have set up photoshoots with their S.O. while travelling just for fun, noting that there would be a lot more suspicion as to the possibility of a proposal. I really had no option, because of the time constraints… so I made up a story about my employer randomly paying for a photoshoot with a family member in Venice (I have no idea what else I could have made up on the spot). Sadly, the new 8am "work" photoshoot pretty much ruined the complete surprise of this proposal, as my significant other was now suspicious that it was really a surprise proposal (as she told me later on). Her whole family was basically telling her that I would probably propose during the photoshoot because it was so out-of-pocket. In the end, the proposal went well with another photographer, who has been excellent. I’m thinking about hiring him again for the wedding. --------------------- It's up to you if you want to take a chance on hiring Ksenia, but make a list of other alternatives as well.

We are delighted with the phots Kensia took of us in Venice. We began at St. Mark's Square at sunrise and then explored back alleys and more intimate spots. Kesenia knew the best spots for photos, including small bridges, soft lighting, and brilliant colors. She was also a delightful guide. As a more mature couple, Kesenia helped me feel at ease. My favorite part of our photos is that they capture the "essence" of Venice. This photo shoot a splurge for us, but I am so grateful we chose Kesenia. Our photos will be treasured keepsakes.

We had an amazing time doing a couples vacation photoshoot with Ksenia! It was very easy to get in contact with her to organize a time/date that worked with our short stay in Venice and describe the type of vibe we were going for with our photoshoot. Ksenia was very kind and approachable, coaching us through the entire photoshoot to make it as comfortable as possible. The 2 hour shoot was a great way to explore some of the beautiful nooks and crannies in Venice tucked away from the swarm of tourists while also having some memorable photos to document the experience. I would highly recommend this to any couples coming to Venice for a short getaway be it a vacation, engagement trip, or honeymoon.

We booked our photoshoot, hoping Venice's backdrop would be spectacular as it was our first time there. As we ran closer to the scheduled day, Ksenia contacted us a couple of days earlier and pointed out that the proposed day might not be ideal due to rain and was flexible in moving last minute to avoid the rainy day. It was a little harder for a group of six, but we are delighted with the photos. Ksenia made the process simple and more natural and captured the family in Venice beautifully. Looking back at it now, these photos cement the time in Venice and with the family. We received our photos approx. 7 days later, before getting back to New Zealand. We thoroughly recommend Ksenia.

We were very happy with the whole process of the photoshoot with Ksenia. She was extremely responsive and accommodating, scheduling a water taxi, gondola, and make-up artist (who was fantastic) for the shoot, greatly lowering our stress. She gave suggestions for locations, hitting several well-known spots, of course, but she really showed her knowledge of the area, leading us to quiet corners and alleys that led to more intimate shots. Venice can be a confusing maze for folks arriving from out of the country like us! Her feedback during the shoot really showed in the results, and she helped keep the mood light during the session.
