I'm sorry to write this, but other families should know what happened on our Murano glassblowing and museum tour. When we arrived, our guide greeted us warmly and focused on my young daughter, asking what she wanted to see. She asked if they could make something, and he said yes. She asked for a glass animal. At no point did he tell us there would be a charge, that it was only a demonstration, or that it depended on a purchase. He let her believe it was being made for her. Afterward he led us into the "gallery" and quickly upstairs to pieces priced in the thousands of euros. The pressure was obvious. When my daughter asked about her animal, he told us he would not send it unless we spent a large amount, at least €1,000, because otherwise it wasn't worth it to him. We offered to pay for the piece and cover shipping. They refused. My daughter was crushed. Looking back, the whole visit felt designed to use a child's excitement to pressure parents into a large purchase. For comparison, we later found very similar glass at another gallery on the island for about half the price. If you book this tour with children, be very careful. Ask up front exactly what is included, and don't let them promise your kids anything. We would not recommend it.

Friendliness and professionalism all around
Unforgettable experience. I was there with my family for the first time, while they had already been there in the past. This time we decided to experience it in a different way and we were truly enthusiastic. We were able to see the glassmaking process up close and learn more about the tradition and craftsmanship of Murano. In the end, we also bought some beautiful glass pieces as a souvenir of the day. An experience that I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to discover the true soul of Murano! Thanks Tommaso

A truly beautiful experience! The visit to the Murano glass factory was very interesting, and we were able to see the master glassmakers at work live during the demonstration. It was fascinating to discover how glass is worked and transformed into true works of art. The staff was kind, helpful, and very professional. An experience that I absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Venice who wants to discover the true tradition of Murano glass!
I had a truly pleasant experience. The boat tour was well organized and offers a splendid view of the lagoon before arriving in Murano. The live glass-blowing demonstration was fascinating: seeing the master glassmakers create works in a few minutes is something that truly leaves you speechless. The staff was friendly, helpful, and ready to answer questions, making the visit even more interesting. The price-quality ratio is also excellent. A perfect activity for those who want to learn about one of Venice's most important traditions. I absolutely recommend it!
A truly pleasant and well-organized experience. The water taxi transfer, both there and back, was very comfortable and also a nice way to see Venice and the lagoon from a different perspective. Once we arrived in Murano we visited the furnace and watched the glassmaking live: seeing the master glassmaker create a piece was definitely the most interesting moment. The staff was kind and explained the various stages of the process well, then leaving us time to visit the showroom at our leisure. Overall an interesting and complete experience, which I recommend to those who want to discover something more about the Murano glass tradition.
