So much fun! Our guide was very friendly and the whole experience was delightful. The food (which we made) was delicious and most of our group came with no experience whatsoever, our guide helped a ton and was very professional. Would absolutely recommend for groups looking for a fun activity in Venice.

Itinerary
Step into a historic Venetian palace and experience a true home-restaurant cooking class led by one of our family chefs—Nicolò, Tommaso or Anthea. Guests work in brigade-style pairs at dedicated stations, sharing the craft while reducing food waste, just like in a professional kitchen. You will learn to prepare fresh pasta dough and tiramisù from scratch, with a hands-on approach focused on cold preparations. Due to the class timing, cooking and sauce-making are handled by us, but you are always welcome to follow us into the kitchen and discover our techniques up close. The experience includes welcome snacks, wine - 1 bottle every 3 guests, two pasta recipes, tiramisù, olive oil tasting with homemade focaccia, mineral water, espresso, a limoncello shot and digital recipe materials. Suitable for all skill levels, the class ends with a shared meal in a warm, authentic Venetian atmosphere.

The teacher didn’t pay much attention to the students, and the class felt very rushed. He also came across as quite unfriendly.
Taking this cooking class was such a fun addition to my trip to Venice! My friends and I loved getting to meet other people while learning how to cook different italian foods. The instructor was really clear and the teaching process was fun. We also absolutely loved the location! The class was a great price for how much wine, food, and dessert we were given.
We were looking forward for this but Nico have decided to ask us to cancel due to our Nationality. We very deeply hurt to hear that he doesn’t excepts Jews.
Nicolo class became a political discussion instead of a cooking lesson. I didn’t enjoy it and I would not recommend to search for a real one.
Myself, my fiance, and our two engaged friends had the most fantastic & wonderful time learning to make pasta and tiramisu with Anthea in a stunning Venetian home (art everywhere & the view from the wall of windows is spectacular). The energy and atmosphere that Anthea created was relaxed and fun - but also professional and instructional. It was hands-on -not just watching it happen but being a part of it all! My fiance and I loved the whole experience so much, when we returned home we bought a pasta maker and made pasta before we even unpacked - and we've made some delicious dishes so far! I admit - I am sometimes skeptical of these kinds of experiences, but this exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone's Venice itinerary!
Nico was so patient and knowledgeable that my experience in making what I thought so complicated or generational traditions was made simple and way to execute. The time was lost in good conversation, delicate techniques and delish food and dessert. Such hospitality and care! Grazie mille!
Lovely authentic experience! Private class, in a private house, perfect if you want to live a day like a Venetian Family …
An amazing experience with a great group! Everything tasted delicious, and I can't believe I successfully made fresh pasta from scratch! The host is highly professional and skilled at making you feel confident; she knows exactly how to guide you, making the process seamless and comfortable even for absolute beginners like me. I really appreciate that she gave us the recipes, so now I can practice at home!
Good food, nice people, a fantastic location. an unique way to enjoy Venice.
Really terrible experience, the guy is a major racist and a Jew hater. Treats people pretty badly, and the class is overrated and boring. Didn’t learn anything new.
Had the worst experience, unprofessional and rude hosts. Wouldn’t recommend.
Awful cooking class. Save your money.
This was our highlight in Venice. Learning how to make tiramisu and two kinds of pasta in a private home with a beautiful view of Venice was a dream come true. The chef had everything perfect set up for us and the instructions were super easy to follow. We had a lot of fun and the food we made was surprisingly tasty. Super happy with the class!
This was absolutely lovely and our host was superb - we had a great bunch of people on the class and so nice to eat our creations altogether! Thankyou for a superb experience and for your wonderful knowledge 🙂
I'm unsure if we were just unlucky but we would not recommend this class at all. The cooking itself was fine, we did learn techniques on making pasta and tiramisu but, It was significantly more expensive than other classes and we left hungry. There was a lot of sitting around while she prepped certain things through the course. She kept telling us to enjoy ourselves and get drunk but our group of 10 ran out of the two prosecco bottles in the first 30 minutes. We also told her in our booking that there were members of our group that didn't eat seafood and she then proceeded to plan only seafood dishes. She did accommodate the one who spoke up, others made vegetarian tortelli that they did not get to try. Our portions were also so small. We made what seemed like plenty of pasta so i'm not sure where it all went. Afterwards we had to stop for a late night snack as the four bites of pasta wasn't cutting it. After paying $175 a person we should not be leaving hungry. Overall this was by far the worst cooking class I've ever been apart of.
Our chef was great, it was a lovely way to spend the evening. Drinking, cooking and eating what more could you ask for.
Genuinely cannot recommend this enough! In the most beautiful apartment with such amazing people - not to mention best meal we’ve had in Venice! Book this for a local experience!
Chef was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. The class was held in a beautiful private home. I left confident that I can make the recipes again and it was a wonderful experience to share with my sister.
The chef was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. We learned how to make fresh pasta, filled pasta, and even the famous tiramisù: a truly unique experience that I highly recommend. The location is beautiful, an authentic Venetian home on the top floor with a terrace.
We had the most great afternoon with Anthea guiding us trough the wonderful experience of making our own pasta, a delicious Tiramisu. Sharing with a delicious organic prosecco and a home made limonccelo... I would repeat if visot Venice again and I recommend 1000000%.
This class was delightful! Anthea, our chef, led us perfectly through the steps to successfully creamy the Tiramisu and pasta. Then she took our creations and completed the cooking process, adding wonderful ingredients and garnishes to our plates. Enjoying this time with Anthea and the other students was intimate and relaxing! We learned, laughed, and shared stories! I would recommend this to anyone who would appreciate a small class and a personalized experience!
Mauro was an excellent teacher and chef! We had a great time with our family and others that were in the class!
Very friendly people, good food, beautiful home and a stunning view!! Chef clearly explained all the recipes in an easy to learn way.
Really a beautiful experience of immersion in the Venetian culinary culture..learning how to prepare a good pasta dish and how to accompany it with a good wine transcends the tourist's experience towards something more authentic!!! I highly recommend it to all those who are not satisfied with simple tourism by photos and selfies!! Nicoló and his staff are very competent and extremely kind people!!!
A wonderful experience. I took a pasta-making class with Antea. She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about her craft, and also warm and welcoming. She guided me through each step of making fresh pasta with care, sharing techniques and insights that only come with true expertise. The class takes place on the top floor of an old Venetian palace, in a beautiful apartment with a stunning view over the rooftops and canals of the city. Cooking there felt like stepping into a film :). I highly recommend!
The space is incredible. A true Venetian home dense with memories and life experiences. Cristina is a fairy who maintains and renews everything, seemingly without any effort. The welcome is warm, informal, but does not forgo the tone of professionalism that reassures and immediately puts everyone at ease. Excellent welcome aperitif. Nico is an affable, prepared, and very clear chef. My partner and I, almost completely lacking culinary skills, were guided in the creation of excellent tagliatelle and one of the best tiramisus ever eaten. Unique and highly recommended experience
Wonderful experience, in a breathtaking location, Nicolò is an excellent chef and thanks to his valuable tips I learned how to make pasta and a delicious tiramisu.. Highly recommended!
Truly pleasant experience! The lesson took place in a very beautiful and welcoming apartment, in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and always available. An authentic and fun experience, absolutely recommended for those who want to experience Venice also through its cuisine!
A true Venetian excellence! The atmosphere is enchanting and the hosts guided us with passion and skill. Memorable experience that I would do again immediately. Rating 10/10!
Beautiful experience in an enchanted setting! Nico knows how to make you feel at home; with care and sweetness you will be guided in the art of cooking. Highly recommended
My friend and I spent a pleasant afternoon discovering tricks and secrets of Venetian cuisine. The location was the icing on the cake!
A wonderful experience, fun and pleasant to do as a couple, with friends, with family, but also alone.
Authentic and fun experience, besides having learned something new, it is a nice way to experience Venice.. Highly recommended
Incredible location! Super kind people and a truly interesting experience. Reasonable price for the offer. And cooking together evokes better, slower times…
A truly beautiful experience! The cuisine was taken care of in every detail, and you can immediately perceive the passion and competence of those who offer it. The hosts were very kind, helpful, and very welcoming, managing to create a pleasant and informal atmosphere. I felt at ease from the very first moment and I really appreciated both the quality of the experience and the attention dedicated to the guests. Highly recommended! 10/10
I can only recommend this traditional yet unique experience in Venice! Not only is the experience itself a gem in terms of food and quality, especially for those who love to cook, but it is also a unique and very pleasant convivial experience with a professional, Nicolò, who is extremely knowledgeable, down-to-earth, super kind, professional, and puts passion into what he does! I have no doubt that he applies the same type of attention and professionalism with all his guests!
An experience that goes well beyond a simple cooking class. The chef's professionalism is immediately apparent: great competence, attention to detail, and above all, the ability to explain and convey his passion in a simple and engaging way. But what really makes the difference is the person. Courteous, helpful, patient, and capable of putting everyone at ease from the very first moment. Absolutely recommended.
It was a wonderful evening. We learned to cook famous Italian dishes. Pleasant company, hospitable and beautiful Venetian house, unforgettable emotions.
Interesting and fun cooking class, thanks also to the friendliness of the chef. All followed by a pleasant dinner. Very well-deserved five stars!
I participated in the fresh pasta and tiramisu course. I was welcomed by Anthea in a friendly way. She followed me throughout the course in a professional manner. I recommend it to anyone who is passionate about cooking. Mirko M.
My friend and I were welcomed with warmth and kindness in a beautiful apartment on the top floor of a historic Venetian building. We learned how to make fresh pasta: stuffed tortelli with scallops seasoned with a pumpkin puree and deconstructed pasta alla norma, and finally an excellent tiramisu accompanied by a small glass of homemade limoncello. It was a beautiful experience that I highly recommend to everyone. Cristina Z.
I wanted to treat myself to an experience different from the usual tourist tour in Venice, and this cooking class exceeded all my expectations. Getting our hands dirty, learning the tricks to roll out the perfect dough, and preparing a tiramisu from scratch was fun from the first to the last minute. The atmosphere that was created was fantastic: warm, convivial, and super welcoming. Niccolò was an exceptional guide, patient and overwhelming with his passion. The best part was sitting at the table together to taste what we had cooked with our own hands, accompanied by an excellent glass of wine. I really felt at home. I can't wait to make fresh pasta again for my friends! Highly recommended!
One of the best cooking experiences I've had in Venice, very kind and very capable hosts. I highly recommend it 10/10
Actually a good idea, but with significant shortcomings: - way too large a group (14 people) - major hygiene issues (participants kneaded the shared dough with unwashed hands) - the price-performance ratio is not right; the advertised wine with the meal and the espresso with the tiramisu were not served Overall, more of a rip-off for the American target audience, what a shame!
An applied chef in a pretty setting. The day of the performance the pasta proposal was a little too "basic" and especially different from the e-mail received a few days before with much friendlier ingredients! Red mussels busara sauce - Tortellini: originally mandis shrimps & prawns - Broccoli and cheese). Too bad. Coffee would also have been appreciated at the end of the meal especially for the price
We had a fantastic experience at the pastry course! Everything was clean, neat and professional from start to finish. The host was incredibly hospitable, clearly engaged, and explained each step with great patience and detail – perfect for both beginners and those with a little experience.
