Our guide was great and we learned a lot of history of the area and foods. However, some of the stops were touristy and not as authentic as we would have liked. Of particular note was the gelato stand that tasted more like ice cream than gelato.

We had a great time. Lots of valuable information. Vanessa was our guide. We highly recommend! Love from Canada.
Elizabeth was knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful. She gave excellent historic context to the city, the culture and the food and beverages we sampled. The samples were generous and well chosen to give a good variety of flavors and textures. The pace of the tour was good for both this grandmother and the children with other families. We highly recommend this tour and guide for a truly fun taste of Venice.
Good food, Tone was a friendly guide who answered any questions with ease. Venice is a beautiful city so combine a walking tour with lovely food it's a winning combination
This is a fabulous introduction to the street food of Venice and the culture behind it. We were treated to various cicchetti, fried mozzarella sandwiches, risotto, polenta ….. and much more. Our guide Vanessa was fun, interesting about the city and its inhabitants and led us through the maze of streets to great places to enjoy the food. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Great way to try local flavours and see more of the city. We ended up going back to a local shop for specialty wines that were recommended by the owner. Did not disappoint! Great experience.
A wonderful guided tour of the city’s street food with a knowledgeable guide. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and our two teenagers did too!
Be there ahead of time. Don’t be 10 minutes late. They will leave you. The only thing to do then is to tour on your own.
Our guide Deny was awesome. We went to places you would never know about it. Had plenty to eat & drink and my vegetarian request was always accommodated.
Fantastic tour with a wonderful guide. Irene is very passionate about Venice and it shows. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an authentic Venice experience outside of pizza and pasta. You will get to see a fair amount of the city and will get plenty to eat along the way.
This tour gives you a nice taste of Venetian street food including savoury cicchetti and traditional sweet dishes. Our host was Ana who was very informative, friendly and entertaining. She was also considerate of any food allergies or likes and dislikes and tried her best to cater to the group with her selection of tasty bites from local family run eateries. It was a great experience to give you an appetite and insight into Venetian history and food led by a local who will walk and talk you through its culture on the enchanting streets and canals of Venice as you fall in love with it. Cin cin!
This was a birthday gift for my sisters who are in Italy / Venice for their 40th birthday along with our parents and husband. This was hands down one of the highlights of their trip. They were raving about what an incredible gift it was and the outstanding food selection. They sent me pictures of all of their tastings and it looked amazing - there was a lot of food! They also mentioned that their tour guide Anna was magnificent. Thank you for a wonderful time and long-lasting memories!
Vanessa was a delight and very informative. She explained Venetian food history and kept us engaged throughout the tour; you didn't even realize you had walked to the next location.
So cool to get off the beaten track with traditional Venetian food. Guide, Tone was knowledgeable. Food was really good.
Really great tour! Lots to eat and our tour guide Giulia was wonderful! She had lots of great knowledge on Venice and took us to all the least crowded areas. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Anna was a great tour guide! She always took into consideration our food preferences. She was very personable, gave us good insight along the way.
Very nice tour! Denis was very knowledgeable about Venice and the different types of food offered. I appreciated that he sought out vegetarian options at places where seafood was served. The group (13) covered a lot of ground in 2.5 hours and there was plenty of food to sample from fried ham & cheese to fried squid, ending with gelato. It was especially nice to end the evening sitting in a campo enjoying crostini under the night sky and moon.
It was terrific to sample the local specialties - especially loved the baby octopus! The guide was fun and informative. The only down-side was that when the tour was over, she bid us farewell without any direction on how to get back to where we started- we didn't even know what neighborhood we were in! In the dark November evening, unfamiliar with the area, if we hadn't had charged phones and our trusty Google maps, we would have been totally lost - not a great way to end a really fun tour. A more circular route, leading us back to the starting point might be a good idea - especially for the evening tours.
Nice restaurants, nice stories, nice guide! I really enjoyed being part of this tour. It had the perfect length and nice food.
This foodie tour was excellent! The o only negative is that they didn't have chairs for us to sit and enjoy ask the wonderful things we were experiencing. Still worth doing.
What an incredible experience! This tour was one of my favorite experiences on my trip to Venice. The tour guide, Anna, was absolutely incredible! She was so much fun and did a wonderful job showing us around Venice and introducing us to the local foods. I tried so many different dishes that I would not have discovered on my own. I absolutely loved this experience and would recommend it to anyone! It was an excellent way to learn about the city and the culture.
The guide was great The first two food stations great The next 2 rather mediocre Tiramisu also not convincing
We did not find the meeting point but tried for 2 hours to reach someone to find the group. 6 calls and. Not even an answering machine. Three calls on an AI. Sending 2 emails. No way back. OUTRAGEOUS.
