Itinerary
We will pass trough the Gran Canal terrace of Ca Giustinian, one of the oldest Palace overlooking the Canal Grande.
Close to San Marco Square, in front of St Moise (Moses) Church and the Gondola station, the guide will introduce you in the elegant and romantic world of the Gondolas.
Once one of 7 major theatres in the city, today the Fenice is Venice’s one and only opera house. It is surely a jewel among European theatres, and began to shine from the beginning, as the best composers of the age wrote and performed their operas here, among which Bellini, Donizetti and Rossini. But it was Giuseppe Verdi who is most attached to the Fenice and to Venetian memory.
The most beautiful road in the world”, this is how the Grand Canal is known as. If you look around, what you will see is almost exactly what a nobleman in the 18th century might have looked upon, and before him a Renaissance courtesan and before him a merchant in the Middle Ages.
Here, as you come into the Grand Canal you admire the church of the Madonna della Salute. The first thing that strikes a viewer is how imposing the church is, strategically placed at the entrance of the Grand Canal looking out onto the rest of the city in every direction, thanks to its circular shape. Today, ever 21 November the city celebrates the Madonna della Salute in memory of the end of the plague
Punta della Dogana separates the Grand Canal from the Giudecca Canal. For its strategic location it was the house of the Custom and of the Salt Warehouses. During the fifteenth century, the Sea Customs House, which had previously been near the Arsenale, was transferred to the western point of Dorsoduro borough.
You will have a view of the Island of san Giorgio Maggiore, with its beautiful Renaissance Church built by Palladio in the Renaissance and the belltower resembling the bigger one in St Mark’s Square. The island was once known as the Island of Cypress Trees before it became an important Benedectine monastery.
At the end you will enjoy a wonderful overview of Saint Mark’s Square. This is a spot which painters from all over the world have tried to capture in its uniqueness, but we can only recommend that you sit back and take it all in.
The Gondola Gallery is a unique place to discover the history, craftsmanship, and traditions of Venice’s iconic gondola. With your guide, see the only original gondola displayed in section and enjoy a unique 3D journey through Venice across the centuries

Our guide Luca and bietrice were lovely and it was informative
Fantastic tour of Basilica, Doges Palace and Gondola ride. Very well run with lovely guides.
It was a wonderful experience and friendly crew!
Lovely experience, relaxing and the audio description was very insightful.
Nice balade. I recommend. Good guide.
The first 15 minutes was a 3d glasses experience which was interesting. Half of the people in my area were not able to see it because the glasses didn’t work. But after that we walked to the gondola area and our tour guide shared some history. Then we got on the gondola and that was very cool. We went at sunset and it was beautiful. Definitely a must do when in Venice!
Gondola ride was a little shorter than 30 minutes but overall great experience. The VR in the museum was unexpected!
We booked our Venice Gondola Ride through the Victor app, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing! The booking process was smooth and hassle-free, and everything was well organized. The gondola ride was a wonderful experience, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of Venice from its beautiful canals. The service was excellent, and everything went perfectly. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Venice. Definitely a memorable experience!
This experience taught us about the history of gondolas and Venice more broadly, followed by a gondola ride. Very much enjoyed
導遊很好👍 貢多拉船夫很有趣 Nice trip Good
Breathtaking... An unforgettable experience... A little pricey but definitely worth it.... They should consider lowering the price to get more clientele...
The gondola ride was NOT private. The description implies that's what happens, but we were placed with two strangers in our gondola. We rode on 2 kitchen-like chairs - not the comfy couch in the picture. Ride was 20 minutes, description says it's approximately 30 but that's being generous. Not sure I would book this again vs just booking directly with a gondolier for the same price and guaranteeing a private boat ride.
Amazing experience to have in my entire life 💕
A great way so see Venice. Wow what a beautiful city - fell in love with Venice and a dream come true
Apart from the long walk from the Station to the meeting point, it was an enjoyable experience. The greeting staff were great, the guide was also.
The guide was very nice & sweet, the VR experience was decent. However, we spent very little time on the actual grand canal, hardly 5 minutes. Rest were in the dirty back alleys waterways where there was nothing to see except abandoned buildings. The gondola drivers kept talking to each other very loudly. We spent 20 minutes in the gondola and 10 minutes of parking at the end. Personally, it didnt feel like worth the money. Very skippable.
The virtual experience was ok, the tour guide who left the group to the docs was more a guide to take us from one place to another and less interested in explaining. The gondola ride was fine but they randomly combined groups.
It is a half hour of introductions to gondolas and a long walk to the boat and then only a half hour ride. We thought we we going on an hour ride.
Difficult finding meeting point; No explanation on use of visual equipment; difficult to understand tour guide; listening device poor; no explanation regarding what we were seeing. Enjoyed the Gondola ride for what it was.
Reasonable tour guide and time
When we booked we expected a longer VR experience. The gondola experience itself was lovely; however our particular gondolier spend the majority of the ride yelling and chatting with alternate gondoliers. Our land guide was lovely and shared information with us… Overall I think in future I would just book on my own through the various gondola stops around the city and save € 90
Wonderful ride on the Grand Canal. But, as usual, the directions to the tour start were awful. They should be much more detailed & specific
Great insight to Venice, a must trip whilst visiting
Informative! Beautiful! Guide gave us a lot of useful information. She walked at a reasonable pace. Her english was very good.
Be careful when booking if you are after a more private gondola ride. Poor couple on my gondola had booked a romantic ride and ended up in a gondola with three others and had to sit on the side seats facing each other Need to download an app for the gondola part of guided tour, as no communication with the gondola man at all. 4 out of 5 of us couldn’t download. Personal I would just pay for one once there or pay 2 Euro to cross over the grand canal - short but in a gondola
Very knowledgeable and helpful
Its really worth it , the tour guide and video information before the ride then the gondola tour was absolutely amazing experience
It’s not Venice if you don’t experience a Gondola ride and learn the history.
This tour is fine if a gondola ride is one of your “must do’s” The start of the experience is fine with a little history via VR video and then a slow walk to the canals with guide talking along the way. But then they hand you over to the gondola operators who seem to be separate to any of the tour operators and are their own entity, then it’s just luck of the draw. Ours was a d1ckhead who was constantly yelling to his colleagues in Italian and was rude to us tell us to stay inside the boat when I was literally sitting in the middle of the seat. So weigh up how bad you want to go on the gondola honestly it’s a take it or leave it experience and for €90 I could probably think of better ways to spend the money.
Amazing amazing and more amazing
Gondola ride was amazing. It was relaxing and calming. Everything we were looking for. The walk to wear we got on the gondolas was brisk. The group was large and the tour guide went a little too fast and did not in my opinion check to make sure the group was together. The calles in Venice are narrow and many turns and there were times we could not hear her as she was so far ahead.
Perfect service ! Beatrice was amazing !!! And the gondola tour so nice ! Thank you so much !
Beatrice was delightful as our host and tour guide. She had a pleasant demeanor and switched between English and French with ease as she told us stories and gave us the history of gondolas and Venice
Great tour! Enjoyed learning about the history of Venice and how it was built!
Great experience to explore Venice
Guide was so lovely and lots of interesting facts!
This is my 2nd time to Venice and 2nd Gondola experience. I wish I could remember which company or promotion venue we used for the first one, a few years ago - because the previous experience was much better. But this last one we went on was not good at all and the sad part is we brought friends who hadn’t been there before. Very commercialized rushed in, rushed out, and our gondolier greeted us as we got on the boat and never said another word - NOT one word - not one bit of information as we tour the canals, not one bit of history and zero conversation with our group. Our guide actually spent his entire time chatting with another gondolier for about 75% of our ride - near another boat and sadly that was the same experience our friends had from their other boat as well. The storytelling we had hoped for came from the group organizer with a headset on where you could barely hear her and it was more about following her from A to point B so you could board the boat. I would not recommend this organization for this function and try to find a different company or something private.
Owr tour guide (I think her name was Reggina?) was amazing all the tour she explained about everything that we were visiting, history about the beautiful venice, thinks that im glad to know now, I really like the way she developed the experience, amazing tour if you’re looking any tour at venice, dont hesitate and book this one. We came all the way from México to experience and visit this amazing place. 1000% recommended
Not so romantic, no singing, no talking, just waiting in line with the other 250 people doing the same thing
Very enjoyable. Nice weather and fun ride on the canals
Really fun experience, you gotta do this while in Venice! Just the right amount of time, we had a lot of fun!
It was a beautiful and very informative experience
Terrible experience. Our gondola guide only took us out 15 min. & pointed out 3 things. We were supposed to have a 1 hour ride. Will not use again!
Was closer to a Disney Land experience. The add made it sound like a solo ride for the two of us, turns out that cost an additional $50. Euros. The Gondola driver never said a word, no history, no story telling. Lot of money for little gain. We did a private taxi tour for 30 minutes @$100.euros. This was the better option.
Don’t do it. The operators yell at each other, they boats are so close that I got hit by the one behind, the canal stunk, the scenery in the canal was run down, the gondola ride is around 15-20 min and the rest is a tour and a history lesson. There are some other operators within the city you can book that are better… not this one.
Good experience, 3d introduction and gondola ride was memorable experience
It’s Venice. So it’s beautiful. Options were limited. Probably better to find one of the non big tour Gondola drivers. Ours didn’t talk. Didn’t say anything. The only talking was in the beginning describing the origin of the Gondola- that we appreciated. If you want a romantic tour, I wouldn’t do the group. Boats small, other people are close, they get in the way of your pictures. Also…20 minutes not what is advertised. The loop was fast, the wait to disembark was five minutes at the time end but by that time, your not seeing anything anymore.
The gondolier was rude . He was talking very loudly on his personal phone! We had no choice but to listen to his conversation! It made our ride anything but enjoyable!
The tour was really great! It was well worth it for both the history and the entertainment. Emma, the guide, was wonderful—very friendly and lovely. I highly recommend this tour.
