Fun demonstration. Great views of demo. Organized experience with demo first, then group gets split to go to two separate gift shops, one upstairs and the second on the ground level. If stairs are difficult, let them know.
It was an awesome experience. We ended up being the only two doing the lesson. We were treated extremely well. We were very happy with our outcome of glasses. We had to pick them up the next day. Anyone wanting them the same day would be disappointed, so make sure you take this class at the beginning of your trip.
Wonderful experience watching glass blowing and buying gifts.
We had the best experience with Lenny and Maria. Not only are they very talented at their craft, you can see just how much they love their work by the way they interacted with our group. I highly recommend the private experience if you are traveling with a few friends. There were 5 of us and it was just a perfect experience!
Omg, so much fun. We had a simply fabulous time
We did the private tour today. I am a fused glass artist so this was extra special for me. Being able to try my hand at a hot glass piece at the Original Murano Glass Factory was amazing. The guide and the glass artists were fantastic and I would absolutely recommend the private tour!
Easy to find, ticket was not expensive at all. Very short show but what you see is very impressive. Unfortunately difficult to understand what was being explained.
Matt and Maria were wonderful! We had a private class and were able to make a flower and a glass each. They were incredibly patient, very safety conscious, and made sure we understood what we were doing every step of the way (an incredible feat to do in a second or third language!). We’re only halfway through our trip but this may be the highlight.
We all 5 of us had a lovely experience, we were equipped with protective gear and given hands on help before they stepped back and watched as we were comfortable. Made a lovely glass flower and each got to ship ours home. Highly recommend to watch and try the experience yourself!
Maria and John and Maximilian and others made this a wonderful ful experience of a lifetime. Only problem. Plan to spend 10x your budget because there is too many beautiful things.
We did the private glass workshop where we each made both a flower and a tumbler to take home. Lenny and Maria were excellent guides who demonstrated and helped us each step of the way. We got to perform most of the action ourselves or with help when needed. Prior to the private workshop we received premium seating at the general demonstration performed by the master. After the workshop we were taken to the gallery where they showed us their other pieces but it was not a hard sell. Everyone was extremely nice and the environment was worm and inviting. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique glass blowing experience you won’t soon forget.
Such a cool experience! I’ve been interested in glass for awhile now but never thought I would get the chance to try it for myself. Very clear instructions, super fun, and I can’t wait to use my tumbler!
Amazing experience. The customer service from Dennis was first class. Max and his glass workers were equally impressive. We loved simultaneously hearing about the glass blowing process and seeing first hand the skilled craftsmanship. Highly recommend.
We did the glass blowing class and gallery tour. What an amazing time. Zero language barrier, excellent instruction. Maybe the highlight of this short trip to Venice
First, we watched a master make a glass and horse figurine, which was very impressive. Then, two apprentices, Matt and Lenny, showed us how to make a glass. Each of the five of us then had the opportunity to make our own. Matt and Lenny were very patient and helpful guides. Being able to keep our glasses to help us remember our trip to Venice and the experience of making them was wonderful. Highly recommend.
This was amazing! We got to see up close the extremely talented glass blower create from a glass ball - in extreme heat - and turn it into a beautiful piece of art - a horse! To see it taking shape was incredible. I couldn't wait to visit the showroom and I ended up ordering a custom (made for me!) Murano glass and crystal chandelier which will be created by a renowned chandelier artist. I also purchased a one-of-a-kind art piece glass bowl.
The demonstration was fine. We definitely saw the artistry that goes into the beautiful pieces. However, we were shown into the store and were given the hard sell for the pieces. The ones in the showroom have very much inflated prices. But when you scoff, they tell you not to look at the prices, but to ask. I am not a fan of this tactic. Then when we did ask about a piece, we were taken into a room where they closed the door behind us. We were then to look at additional pieces. We were greeted by the owner who repeated all of the "spiel" that the original sales lady gave us. The went off and we darted out of the room. He followed us out with another man. I am assuming it was the artist that made the piece that I liked. We didn't stick around to know. I get it. It is very specialized work. But I do not respond at all to sales tactics like this.
The experience was so awesome! The art work is beautiful and they may us feel like royalty. We're happy to support a local family business.
Nice quick experience. Watching the masters create a couple pieces of glass art was a fun experience.
Fantastic experience, incredibly friendly staff, they helped us produce some fantastic items. Cannot recommend this enough!
The tour was very interesting and the glass maker was very talented!
Nice visit able to watch the glass person make a horse and jar!
Staff is friendly, the maker is talented
Great experience and cool demonstration
Overpriced, underwhelming.
A quick 15 minute demonstration that will leave you in awe. Amazing to see how these beautiful pieces are created by the master craftsmen. Such artists! You are in their active workshop, in the space where all their products are created.
Look no further, this workshop is worth every penny. We were looked after and guided through the making of a tumbler so expertly and considerately by Maria and Mathio (sorry if name not right!). We chose our colours and they ensured we achieved a good end result as they both fully supported us through every step. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you OMG. Paid £5 each online through Get Your Guide and easily found OMG Factory and Showroom on Murano. Went around 10 a.m.—not busy at all. Watching the glassblower create a horse in minutes was incredible! Shop prices were reasonable, and the surrounding streets are full of Murano glass shops. Easy to visit independently and well worth a stop.
The glass blowing workshop was a fantastic experience. We had an hour workshop, where we had the opportunity to make glass flowers. The session was private, with only our party of 3 in the session. The staff were lovely, very knowledgeable and patiently took us through the experience. The experience didn't feel rushed, and felt very safe. The cost was 90 euros per person, and was well worth it. This was a highlight from our Venice trip. Highly recommended!
A wonderful experience, beginning with a demonstration and then doing a semi-private workshop with our family. Each one got to make a glass creation with the aid of the apprentices. Very professional, friendly and fun!
We did the experience where we got to work with glass with the assistance of professionals to show us how to work the glass with various tools as well as glass blowing. Everyone we worked with was so nice and professional and fun! Afterwards we got the VIP experience as we shopped in their amazing store. I loved learning about how to work the glass and then afterwards about the master artists that have pieces in their gallery. Thank you Gian Luca for all the help with coordinating and making the experience the highlight of an already amazing vacation.
It was a great experience and the kids had such a great time. And it was a phenomenal experience for everyone. Thank you!
Perfeto very nice and amizing work
Massimiliano and allhis team are great, we had such a nice time watching the glass making in furnace. High recommanded during your venice holidays.
Caught the water bus over to the island and went straight in to watch the glass blowing. I was amazed by his technique very interesting to see , cost 5€ which is refunded if you buy anything .
We did the glass blowing class and it was absolutely excellent. The staff were very helpful and made sure that our freshman efforts didn’t look like it came fromthe third grade. The gallery is beautiful with a lot of beautiful affordable pieces and we did not get any pressure to buy.
Maria was fabulous! We had so much fun making flowers!
Absolutely amazing from start to finish! This glassmaking workshop was truly breathtaking, one of those experiences that stays with you long after it’s over. Watching molten glass transform into something beautiful felt almost magical and getting to be part of that process was unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and inspiring, and the staff were very friendly and passionate about what they do. They explained everything clearly, made us feel welcome and encouraged curiosity and creativity every step of the way. Lots of “wow” moments and honestly just pure joy all around.
Loved it! Such talent - can’t imagine how many working years it takes to be a ‘maestro’ master glassmaker. Loved the demonstration - the shop was great too. We bought some little trinkets to take home too.
Maria was the best. Had a great experience and made an awesome glass flower!
Had an amazing time. They did an excellent job, showing us the basics of glasswork and how to handle the glass. It is a great opportunity to both learn and create your own artwork. Stunning pieces in the showroom as well.
Loved the demonstration and Maxssimo was a brilliant teacher. Filled a life long dream to create something with glass. Gaunluca was so helpful with communication to reserve the workshop, how to get there and in the museum. Left very happy with the whole experience and beautiful pieces of glass.
€5 Euro ticket per person for a demo which was less informative or entertaining than 2 minutes of watching Blown Away on Netflix. The caveat is that your ticket cost can be applied to hand blown glass purchased in their shop. Problem is that this is a “bait and switch” as only after ticket is paid for do they add in fine print at the bottom that it’s only valid on “purchases over €90 Euro”. This is the literal definition of a scam. Avoid this spot at all costs. There are quite a few other options available which aren’t scamming groups of 30+ tourists at a time. Let my waste of money be the warning for those who read this review before coming here.
Very cool experience. They were very professional, patient, and kind. We all made a work of art and a memory. Our family enjoyed it!!
My wife and I did the glassmaking workshop, and it was incredible! Matthew and Lenny were amazing — knowledgeable, fun, and patient. The experience was absolutely worth the time, and the best part is you can have your creations shipped home. Highly recommend!
Great experience with Matteo who was very patient explaining and helping us. Very friendly helpful and informative staff.
Don’t bother going. Only a 5 min glass blowing demo and then they force you to the store to buy something- really overpriced. Explore Murano instead and visit Burano for sure!
Not worth the price. Entry was supposed to be by appointment but had to line up behind walk ups. Showroom was very average.
Amazing glass blowing demonstration and workshop experience. Booking the workshop class was 100% worth it and we can’t wait until our creations are shipped home.
