Apart from confusion about which dock to meet the private boat, all went smoothly. Pilot was friendly and good, glass blowing guide was accommodating and helpful and we all got a chance to blow glass. A worthwhile experience.

Itinerary
Guests will find a private water taxi at their hotel to go to the island of Murano, and discover the art and the history of the Glass production. Once travelers reach the Glass factory, they will meet a member of our staff that will take care of them. The activity will start by watching the Glass Master working. Travelers will see how he produces glass art pieces and then they will blow the glass along with the master. It is a first step into this world, a very funny experience where you will get the chance to try to blow the glass (this is not a workshop, but a simple try to blow the glass). During this experience there will be a member of our staff explaining about the glass history, the materials and the techniques of production. After this experience they can visit the rest of the glass collection with the most beautiful items: the perfect place to purchase your authentic Murano Glass! The glass blown by the travelers has no possibility to be taken away with them. That's because after it's been shaped and worked, the glass has to be cooled down slowly to be tempered and it takes about 24/48 hours. The time of the activity includes the time of the transportation

The experience was weak. It felt like a ploy to just get people into their glass studio to buy things. We got to "blow" glass but literally it was just blowing into a pipe with glass on it until the glass broke. We did not get to do anything else. We watched the guy make a couple pieces, but that only lasted about 5 min. For the cost, you could do much more in Murano. I would skip this tour and spend the money somewhere else.
This tour was great. Someone met us at our tour and brought us to our water taxi. The taxi dropped us off and our guide introduced us to the glass master. The glass master showed us how he makes his beautiful masterpieces! He even allowed us to try “glass blowing”. It looks simple but it is NOT. After our experience we were able to visit the showroom filled with delicate glass pieces. It’s amazing what they can do!
We learned a lot about glass. We also had fun being able to blow glass ourselves. Giovanni explained each step to make the experience better.
Wonderful tour, great team. It was really fun 🤩
It is a fun experience. We learned a lot about glass. The products were nice. The kids enjoyed the experience. The shop was expensive, but the quality was very good.
Great tour, amazing organization and sweet guides. A different tour from others, as they let you try blowing the glass. 10/10
What a fantastic experience. We laughed we learned and we had a fantastic time. Giovanni was terrific. He even gave us glasses of Prosecco and treated our kids wonderful
Amazing experience! My adult children were thrilled. Master artist made two pieces while another employee explained what he was doing. We then each had the opportunity to blow molten glass. Very entertaining and educational. Loved it!!!
I went with my two kids, the explanation was very poor, with lack of love to the field and very marketing oriented. There was no spirit to the tour and even my kids which are usually very enthusiastic about art demonstrations were waiting to get out of there. I regret not going to see the demonstration in the glass museum, I'm guessing this would have been a more authentic experience, as strange as it may seem.
We had an amazing time taking the glassmaking class and watching the master at work — the skill and technique were truly impressive! Marco was a fantastic guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and very funny. We can’t wait to enjoy our new glasses at home, preferably with a Marco-rita, (Margarita) as he would say. Thank you for such a memorable and fun experience!
This is awful. Complete scam, do not waste your money. High pressured and intimidating sales people, no glass blowing at all, and they wouldn’t take us home - the tour says it will drop you back in Venice - they left us stranded to make our own way back. Literally horrific experience.
It was cool to watch the master glass blower. However, every time I’ve taken a glass blowing class, I was able to make something to take home. This class was literally just a chance to blow once in a tube. It wasn’t worth the money.
It was a short demonstration how objects were made. Even shorter participation to blow glass for maybe a minute only to break it into a basket. Big pressure to purchase their merchandise. Feel this was over priced for this excursion
Was short but sweet and watching the master at his work was amazing. He made a horse by pulling molten glass with tweezers, I couldn’t do that with clay. Kids were also allowed to blow glass under supervision and they loved it.
Such a FUN experience!!! If you are looking for an interactive short intro about glass blowing we highly recommend this!!
The glass blower made objects in front of us. The experience was interesting and informative. Murano is a beautiful island to visit. We really enjoyed it.
We got to blow the glass however I am not sure the whole experience was worth it. I expected a more interesting demonstration other than the one you could get for free but we got lumbered in with a massive tour group so the experience did not feel special.
We had a difficult time understanding, and it was a demonstration for about 15min. They give you a discount in the store afterwards.
Blowing glass for myself was unforgettable and very fun, even if it was a short experience. We were happy to have the experience over a free souvenir and to be able to choose a souvenir of our own. It gave us an appreciation of the difficulty of controlling the glass and gauging the pressure to make actual parts. It was cool to hear stories from the glass master and see the passion in person. The demonstration included a few different techniques and parts they actually sell and you could later see in the shop, which we also enjoyed.
There isn't much you get to see them blow glass and then you blow a little yourself. Nothing too exciting.
Not what I expected. The glass blowing demo was interesting but the experience was disappointing. My daughter and I each got a minute or so to go up and blow into a tube and then smash the glass bubble we had just blown. That’s it. We paid more than the rest of the crowd and got very little for it. Also the entire experience, including the demo, was not more than 20 minutes.
Fun experience. Not only did I get to watch the master artist create blown glass sculptures, I actually got to try it. And they even use my camera to shoot a video of my experience. Highly recommend it!
For the price, this was fun to be able to watch the glass blowing technique and then also try it out for ourselves. Now we didn't get to make anything real, but we did (including our 5 year old) get a chance to blow through the tube to see the reaction and precise technique needed to do the work of the master glass blowers. Highly recommend!
Was an amazing experience and the people were very friendly. Absolutely love this place and would go again.
My family were planning to visit the Murano Glass Academy but sadly when we arrived, it was closed for the day. So we decided to try the Gino Mazzuccato Glass demonstration glass blowing class for E7 a head. The classes don’t start on time which I wish we knew as we left our meal. The female attendant was very curt to my husband when asking about the bathroom for our daughter …she just kept saying ‘ I am on my lunch break’ over and over when we asked where the bathroom was! Really bizarre behaviour considering she was in the shop floor. Other staff members supported her response. Glass blowing class was good but just after it started it was flooded by a group tour who entered from a boat at the rear of the workshop. If we knew it was on a group tour circuit, we would not have booked. Such a pity the Academy was closed that day !
Watching the glass blowing and creation of pieces was fantastic, and being able to blow our own was even better! I was amazed! I also appreciated the discount offered at the end of the demonstration in the shop. I would definitely recommend this experience!
Getting a chance to blow glass was super fun. I would recommend the class blowing experience. It was a great time.
It was a fun experience. Everyone was super nice. They explained the glass making process and then demonstrated some glass skills. My family and I were then able to try to blow glass. There was a shop to purchase glass items with no pressure to buy which was nice. I would recommend them!
Glassmaster was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. We enjoyed the glass blowing opportunity. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this operator!!!
Great experience thank you. Will do it again when I return. Thank you for everything. The guide was great.
Beautiful experience, we all loved it and this one in part is not very expensive compared to others. Each of us got the opportunity to blow the red hot glass out of the oven.
The experience itself was really good. The staff were informative and engaging. My issue was that the experience was sold as being for 45 minutes. We were somewhat rushed in and out all done in 20 mins. What we experienced was great but wanted and expected more. We also booked for 6 people but when we arrived they said only 4 people could do the actual glassblowing. Still don't know why. Fortunately 2 of our group didn’t want to do it but still charged the same price. They could make this experience fantastic but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend in its current form.
This was really neat and I could have watched an hours long demonstration from the glass master. I was glad we booked through viatour because a lot of the others in our group had booked somewhere else and they did not get to participate and blow glass. The whole experience was really fun.
Our family was extremely happy with our experience, it was well worth the money and the people were very kind! We were shown by the glass master how a vase and a horse figure are made. We also got to blow the glass to form a big bubble, which we really liked. As said, all the staff was very kind to us and we were very happy and pleased with our choice to book this experience :) We definitely recommend booking this experience if you want to see a glass master in action and also want to blow the glass a little bit, with a very good quality-price ratio!
We had a great time at the glass blowing experience. If was very interesting to watch and so exciting to have a go ourselves!
Informative and entertaining. We were invited to stay for another demonstration. My husband was not expecting the demo to be fun day
Absolutely superb experience! We were lucky enough to watch a glass blowing demonstration and have a go at blowing the glass ourselves. The guide and the glass master were both very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this experience to others.
Good experiance ... Really real .. you realy get how glass blowing works ... Had good time with my mom and my sister ... Perfect!!!
We had an amazing time at this experience. Rocco was very informative, and the master was beyond impressive. Would recommend! :)
I went to Venice with my girlfriend for the first time; it is a beautiful city, and the activity in Murano was the added value. Lots of history, art, and craftsmanship in a fun, lighthearted, and unforgettable excursion. I highly recommend everyone try it!!!
Wonderful experience! Definitely to be repeated! The experience was exactly as described!
We paid a lot of money for the activity, a 15-minute activity. As they clearly knew that they had scammed us, they offered to blow glass, make a glass, and send it by mail (all to save face). Three months later, we are still without receiving the glasses, nor a message, nor a refund. We truly believed that they wanted to solve the problem they caused, but they only covered it up.
I had never seen glass blowing and it was very nice. Seeing the maestro at work live and up close was wonderful. The gallery then a show. All the staff very nice, I recommend it!
Beautiful historic glassworks absolutely worth visiting. We were followed excellently and recommend this activity to anyone who wants to have fun and see beautiful things
During a trip to Venice we booked the experience in the glassworks of Gino Mazzuccato with the demonstration of the master and blowing. The demonstration was really interesting, exciting to see how real art objects are created and surprising the ease with which the master creates. One of the guys on staff also described step by step what the teacher was doing translating into English, French and Spanish. Blowing is one more experience that I would recommend to make the visit even more unique and to “test yourself”. A nice ride in the show room is a must to choose a souvenir to take home
To be repeated! My kids couldn't be happier! We brought home a beautiful work of art, as a souvenir of a special experience
Beautiful place , nice experience, we saw the demonstration of glass , my son also had the experience of blowing glass , all very nice , Rocco and Flavio super 😉
