Nice tour, lots of free time. Information given while on boat. Look for the monster in the lake. Take a hat.

Itinerary
Once onboard the boat, you will begin sailing heading to Murano, where you will stop for one hour and 15 minutes. Here you will have the chance to visit one of the island’s glassworks and attend a demonstration of a master glassmaker (lasting about 15 minutes). Alternatively - or to follow - you can walk to the lighthouse or opt for a visit to the iconic sights of Murano, such as the Basilica of Santi Maria and Donato, the Glass Museum and Palazzo da Mula.
The second stop of this day tour to the Venetian islands will be Burano with its colorful houses. In this hour and a half at your disposal, you can choose to visit some of the most interesting things like the leaning bell tower or the house of Bepi Suà, the Lace Museum which is housed in the historic Palazzo del Podestà of Torcello and which exhibits rare examples of this precious fabric, known and appreciated throughout the world.
The last stop will be Torcello, where the Venetian civilization was born: the first settlements date back to the 7th century when local folks sought refuge on the island to escape the Barbarians’ invasions. Today Torcello has just over 10 inhabitants but its historical and artistic testimonies make it a very popular destination for visitors from all over the world. We suggest you visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, the ruins of the Baptistery of San Giovanni Evangelista, ‘Attila’s Throne" and the Devil's Bridge, today still wrapped in a mysterious legend.

Get what you pay for. Large boat, ten minute walk from St Mark’s, poor signage. Guide spoke five languages. Impressive, but challenging to pay attention to while waiting for your language to pop up. But it takes you to the same islands as the more expensive boats, so that’s fair.
Good price for the service. There is an assistant at the pier to direct you to which line you need to be in. There are two tour guides that give basic information such as when to be back to the boat. This is a very large tour and is not personalized in any way. It’s a good option to get to all of the islands without needing to figure out the public transportation system. You are on your own at each of the islands to do what you please. In Marano, they do organize a glass blowing demonstration.
So much fun! The glass blowing was so much fun to watch. The islands are beautiful, esp the colorful houses on Burano.
It was a bit too long and was too touristy; we did not have enough time on each island and it was encouraged to only shop in the main shops right by the entrance/exit
Was ok but it lashed with rain too a point where you could not move against it and the crew just wanted everyone off the boat. It was quite dangerous for some with only t shirts on
All three islands were interesting but we certainly preferred the second and third. The guide was very informative.
Grat way to get a taste of the 3 islands: Murano, Burano, Torcello. Brief glass blowing demo was just ling enough. We had 1 hrs to explore Murano, 2 hours to explore Burano, which was my favorite. 1 hour was not quiet long enough for Torcello. Overall, easy, peaceful day.
We went to 3 islands. Enough time to explore. We really went to see the mosaics at Torcello, which we did. Only problem, no toilet on the smaller boat to and from Torcello. Terrific tour guide on boat - Isabella
Highly recommend the boat trip to Murano & Burano, great way to see a little more of Venice. Burano is a stunning little island with beautiful colourful houses with plenty of restaurants to have lunch
Best parts were the glass works and Burano. Unfortunately we felt let down at the start of the boat trip as there was not a Viator representative to greet us and it was not very clear on the day where to meet. Between pontoons 1 to 3 wasn't enough, thus this caused panic as we were unsure of which boat was ours or where we were ment to go. We resolved it ourselves in the end by asking lots of different people. St Marc's is very overwhelming when busy and so we suggest a representative is present with an unmistakable flag. Green won't do, needs to ge bright.
Sonia was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and seemed very passionate about the subject. We enjoyed it alot!
Burano was the best island- clearly very touristy, but fun. Not much to do on Murano after the glass blowing demonstration, but that was cool to watch. Large boat results in large , crowded group inside the room, which had bleachers. Funneled into a large showroom afterwards to buy stuff. Had to ask how to get outside to see more of the island, but there wasn’t much time left to go very far. The 2 women guides were amazing - they spoke 7 languages! On the ship the sound system was very difficult to hear clearly. Torcello was much less interesting- just a few ruins, and a long walk to get to them and back to the ship. The ship had pretty uncomfortable seating; the timing of departures was on time. All in all, a very nice day. If I had to do again, I would skip Torcello.
The best day trip! Full day out to three beautiful islands. Plenty of time to look around and nice places on Burano to stop and eat lunch.
Well worth the price to visit the other islands of Venice. The boat was comfortable. A good introduction to the other islands for a longer visit next time.
Wonderful! I would book again but would only choose 2 islands, Murano and Burano. Not much to see in Torcello.
We thoroughly enjoyed our days boat trip to the Islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. All so beautiful. Murano with its stunning glass (I could of spent a fortune), Burano with its colourful buildings and s really laid back vibe. Then the calmness of Torcello, very pretty with a lovely church to visit. The tour was well organised, the meeting point was easy to find also. We had s lovely day.
While the concept of this tour was excellent, the day I went fell far below my expectations. Firstly, and this is not the fault of the tour group, the weather was awful, and a lot of this tour happens outside, so it is worth checking the forecast before you book. Additionally, it was nearly impossible to understand the guides over the ship speakers, and that led to a lot of confusion for the group.
Could not find the meeting place. The yellow tent said the did not have us on their list. Lot of money for nothing
I loved how relaxed and patient the greeter was. We tourists tend to be nervous about reservations, and the greeter just said stand here, we'll leave soon. The boats were all on time. The Murano leg of the trip included a glassblowing demo. They also take you through the giftshop, but there's no pressure to make a purchase. The Burano leg is just as friendly. The lace-making demo is optional, and don't try the Bussola, the traditional pastry/cookies of Burano because you won't stop eating them! Torcello is the last leg of the tour, and it's very relaxing, especially if you have kids. There's plenty of open spaces for them to play.
Informative glass factory tour in Murano, not enough time in Burano, waste of time in Torcello! Overall good day out!
The instructions to find the Piers were great and we had no trouble at all. Somebody was on the pier to meet people about half an hour before and we boarded about 10 minutes before. The boat was ok. Some of the chairs had broken seats and the toilet wasn't very clean. Fortunately the journeys between islands were only about 30 minutes. Our tour guide was brilliant and the time given for each island was perfect. We had plenty of time to explore Burano and our daughter was blown away by the glass demonstration in Murano. We could have perhaps had a bit longer in Torcello see the museum and other sites. Overall we really enjoyed the day and it was good value for money. Would recommend.
I enjoyed seeing the different cultures and their way of life. Since the third island was based on food, I would suggest that this island should be scheduled during a meal time.
Tourist trap, multi-lingual guide was cool but not much to see on the islands but more shops and a 30 second glass exhibition
For the most part from Island to Island okay. The return trip the boat did not dock where we started as promised. The boat docked at least three miles away on a Island with the only way off was a 20 minute walk to a bridge. Once over the bridge we were at a location where we had to walk another two miles to our hotel. A water taxi would have been 50 Euros for two people. Then we discovered no water taxis available due to a political presentation by a Ambassador so security would not allow any taxis to dock to pick up passengers or depart. This whole scenario was unacceptable. I am requesting a full refund. Never again!
The boat was certainly not anything like the promotional photo- it was more like a public ferry. Hardly any commentary from the guide Oversold and under delivered
Beautiful trip to all islands. Guide was very informative. Would recommend it to all Murano glass is beautiful. Burano island was so colorful
We enjoyed each island very much, we just wish we got more time on each Island to explore. We felt very rushed.
Loved seeing the glass-blowing demo, checking out the shops in Burano and Murano, and enjoying the quiet naturalism of Torcello. There was ample free time to explore on our own.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and was very patient in answering to any questions. Worth spending the money on the tour.
This multi language tour is a nice way to see the outlying islands of Venice on a budget. On the ferry the tour guide explained different aspects of our trip and was very informative. We stopped at Murano and had a glass blowing demonstration- by far the highlight of our trip. Afterwards you can purchase in their store. At Burano you have time for lunch and sightseeing of the church and the lace making museum. And lastly the oldest church of Venice on Torcello. Overall it was a great trip- just a bit confusing on how to redeem our tickets for the ferry.
This is mostly a handy tour for transportation. The demo at the glass factory is cool but quite short. We were unable to hear properly nor understand any of the commentary offered on the boat because the sound system was pretty bad. Beware that if you are late coming back to the rally point after each stop, the boat will leave without you, that's good to know in advance. I would suggest the organisers a longer stay in Burano so visitors can both eat lunch AND wander around, and shorten the stay on Torcello where there is not much to see really (we went into the church, which was nice, but it's a very short visit anyway)
Myself and my partner went went on this trip, We found the boat trip pleasant but not particularly good. The main problem was the difficulty in hearing the guide as there was so much noise from other passengers. It was obvious that after the guide had spoken in their language, they chattered loudly spoiling the information for everyone else The first visit to Murano was interesting eg glass blowing display , However the shop visit was spoilt by too many people in the room, We tried to find a cafe to have a quick coffee but everywhere was full and we were aware of the very short time available to get back to the boat. The second island Burano was a lovely place. Once again lots of crowds and when we eventually found a cafe for a coffee and a small lunch we had to wait so long to be served we hardly managed to eat it before rushing back to the boat. The guide worked hard . speaking in many languages; I felt sorry that hardly anyone could hear or was interested,
The tour consists of a group of about 100 on a large boat, the boat stops at a designated wharf, direct into a demonstration for Murano glass, attached to a store, you are given half hour free time to browse the store and shop and then back onto the boat for the next island, not enough time to see much of the island itself, but there is a lighthouse. Then off to Burano, given 1hr to explore on your own and hope you find you way back to the boat in time, a lot of brightly painted houses and stores, plenty of restaurants and touristy stores, then to Torcello to see the Church and Basilica, half hour to tour the island, which is enough to walk from the ferry dock to the Basilica and back, not much more on the island due to a total on 7 official inhabitants, back on the boat to Venice. The guide gives commentary in 4 languages, therefore is constantly talking, poor lady.
Tour started at 11am and we was bk by 5pm, best part was Burano island with the colourful houses and Murano island for glass demonstration. Top tip, do not buy any gifts from Murano island, as there are plenty of souvenir shops on Burano island, which we found cheaper. Use the free toilet at Murano glass factory and there is a public toilet at the last island visited at a payment of 1.50 euros. The day goes very fast, take good waking shoes! Our host was very good, all very timely and you need to stick to the times of departure etc. We recommend this company, with this company, easy to allocate and validate your tickets on the day.
Recently we had this tour. The tour operator has done a pretty good job in organisation. The tour was well organised, and informed and disciplined. But the bad part was the tour itself. Murano, burano and torcello looks like ghost islands. I did not find it lively and it was very boring tour. There is nothing much to do here and most of the times, you will be looking to eat something when on island. If I had known this before, I would not have wasted my money and time here. Anyone going on these tours, I tell you in advance that you will not find anything which is not available on main land in Venice. My recommendation, if possible avoid it and spend time and money on something else.
We had a lovely day on this trip. It was well organised and planned out. Very reasonable price too. Got to see some interesting sights outside of venice. We loved Burano the best and would only say one negative was we didn't get enough time to spend here. We would have preferred less time at the other stops and more in Burano to explore. Over all a great day out! Would recommend.
Exactly as described. Good value for money. The staff were friendly. Exactly on time. Would recommend to others to use.
The islands were beautiful. Shops great. Had a nice lunch. Down side was not enough time on each Island
This was a great boat tour. And a great value for the money. I am prone to see sickness but that never happened. The island of Burano is especially beautiful, spend as much time there as possible. On Torricelli (the 3rd island) stop at the church bc that is where all the sites are, including access to the bell tower. You might want to game plan ahead of time the departure location of the boat tour.
A nice opportunity to check out the 3 Islands. The glass blowing demonstration on Murano is good, but the danger is then getting drawn into spending to much time in the glass exhibition and shop, and leaving too little time to see more of the village. Burano good. Torcello cathedral mosaic is worth the €5. Francesca gave minimal commentary, speaking very fast and sometimes unintelligibly.
We really enjoyed the islands of Murano and Burano. Beautiful glass work on show. The third stop at Torcello was not so good; not much there other than a church (admission not included) and a few restaurants. Finding the desk where the tour departed from was quite difficult. The street they tell you to go to is the whole waterfront. (See picture) If you use What3Words, the location is ///image.opens.physics Overall well worth the trip, good value for money.
I suggest everyone to book this trip if they want to visit these three islands. It started at 11 and finished at 5, so 6hours as described. There is enough time to check each island, and the boat is in good condition (plus, it has toilets). The lady told us important facts about different places. The man at the kiosk told us we needed a face mask, we bought him one but no one was wearing them (which I think was ok). I went alone and met a nice couple, so my trip was even better at the end. Thank you so much.
Below expectation! First the location given in the map to collect the ticket was misleading and very confusing! I had to rush to the right place at the last minute after waiting for an hour at e location mentioned here. Then the entire commentary during the trip was in Italian - only 3-4 sentences were in English. Wonder why the hell you invited non-Italian tourists for this trip then? There was no guidance by the host except for the glass making show, which was like 10 minutes of the entire trip only. It wasn’t worth the money. Would not recommend this. Rather just buy normal boat tickets from Venice (if your ACTV Day pass is not covering) and enjoy by your own as you have to do anyway even if you take this trip.
I was with my family with small children We said we want to stay inside because the weather was too hot the captain of the ship forced us to leave the ship in a hot weather or stand outside. It was really disappointing. It was very bad experience for my children. My daughter was very sick and poorly after we finished.
It was a nice day for what it was. It’s basically transportation between three islands with one to one and a half hour break in between. The first two islands are quaint and picturesque but really just more souvenir shops and some local wares. The third island has a very old church but admission is not included. It was a very hot day when we went and the boat does not have any a/c so by the third island we were all pretty done. But overall it was nice and the staff was very courteous.
Great way to escape heat and crowds of Venice for a day, see a glass-blowing demonstration, and visit unique island towns.
Fantastic day trip to three beautiful island. Loved Burano and could have stayed much longer. Highly recommend this trip.
Amazing guide. Very knowledgeable. The information provided was incredible. The techniques shown were amazing. The food great and the places Unbelievable.
We loved exploring the places beyond the historical Venice. A great balance of walking around and boating. Enough free time to explore on your own. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly!
