We had a fantastic day touring the Prosecco region with Francesca. She was highly knowledgeable about both the wines and the region. This was the perfect day trip from Venice.

Reviews
Francesca was very engaged in conversation , informative about the prosecco areas . Felt very comfortable in spending our time with her and her ability to drive us around! Would highly recommend this tour and Francesca!!❤️
A great tour of 2 wineries in 2 important Prosecco areas. Weather was perfect. Tour guide Venessa was very informative with positive energy and ensured our small group of 7 became friends. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion led by Francesca, both vinyards were very informative and in beautiful settings of the Italian countryside. The Prosecco we had tastings of were all of a superior quality. We would highly recommend this tour.
Easy and prompt meet up. Francesca is engaging, interesting and full of knowledge of the region and wines.
The Prosecco hills were amazing - beautiful views and we visited 2 family run smaller wineries. We got to walk through the vineyards, learn about the recent harvest, and taste Prosecco directly from the fermentation tank. Our guide was great, everything was well organized and we had a great time while learning a lot also!
Very authentic experience, personal, and beats a Napa wine tasting. Loved it! Definitely want to come back and stay in the country side next time I come to visit. So many vineyards!
Francesca did a great job of educating us on the history of the region, showing us the beautiful countryside and introducing us to some tasty Prosecco! We visited 2 wineries and drove around the countryside to see the landscape and understand the wine growing process.
Scenic, beautiful, and great guide Georgia!! The Prosecco Hills were stunning. I would do this again.
The tour guide was so sweet and informative! We enjoyed the day so much!!! It was fun to learn about the Prosecco Hills!
It was described as a Prosecco Tour and that’s exactly what was received. Our driver and Guide , Francesca was very good , as were the hosts at the two wineries we visited , Constanza at Linto winery and Laura at Vecchio.
I have never seen anything as remarkable as the countryside of Venice. Not only were the sights stunning, but so are the people (our tour guide Gorgia is top notch), local winery staff, and the prosecco were just outstanding!
Highly recommend! This was a relaxing day getaway to Prosecco Hills which included tasting at two wineries. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the folks at the wineries gave great context and expertise around the region’s specialty and their prosecco development process!
This was a 10/10 experience! The tour guide was amazing, the wineries were so informative and everyone was so kind. Would most certainly recommend!
Our tour guide Rubina was awesome - very friendly, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. The tour itself was great too and we enjoyed the scenic drive, the selection of wineries, and of course great wine. It was a small group, which made it feel more intimate and personalized. The tour added a lot to our overall trip and gets my recommendation.
Our tour guide and driver, Georgia, was absolutely fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke English fluently, and explained everything in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. You could tell she was passionate about the region and the history of Prosecco, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour itself was wonderful. At the first winery, we explored the beautiful gardens and vineyard before enjoying a delicious homemade lunch prepared by the family who owns the winery, featuring fresh pasta made with vegetables from their garden and traditional cicchetti. Learning about the history of Prosecco and the winemaking process was fascinating. At the second winery, we got to see the large stainless steel tanks where the Prosecco is fermented and even tasted it before the bubbles are added—a really unique experience you don’t often get! From start to finish, the tour was informative, interactive, and so much fun. The Prosecco was delicious, and Georgia truly made the day unforgettable.
Nice van to transport us to the vineyards. Very informative about the Prosecco process and different types. Food was very good!
My mom and I had a great time! Francesca was amazing and super knowledgeable. We learned all about Prosecco and the scenery along the way was so beautiful. Both wineries we visited were great! A nice getaway from Venice for the day! Highly recommend.
We had an amazing introduction of Prosecco DOCG! Vanessa was amazing! She gave us great history of Venice and Veneto area! This tour is serious about wine which is what we look for, we visited 2 wineries in VALDOBBIADENE and CONEGLIANO, talk with business owners, walk through vineyards and production areas, then taste wines with different produce methods! We learn so much and are very happy to know a bit more about DOCG! Vanessa also drove us through the hill, very beautiful! Highly recommended!
Excellent! I can't say enough about how great this was. It was beautiful and private. Our driver/ tour director Vanessa was amazing with so much knowledge. The 2 vineyards we visited were breathtaking and the amount of amazing prosecco was generous. One of our favorite activities in Italy.
Selected Venice Prosecco Wine Tour w/ (2) Tastings based on previous reviews. Being 2nd time to Venice for the (4) of us, wanted to experience the country side. What better way than w/ a wine tasing tour. Vanessa our tour guide, just superb, knowledgeable about the region and very personable. The (2) wineries visited fulled us w/ knowledge of Prosecco Wine making and history of their winery. Very generous w/ tasting of their Prosecco wines.
We spent the day with Francesca, she was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She’s from the best city in the world, Vicenza, which makes me want to go see it, just from her enthusiasm. She took us to two small family run wineries and it was a fantastic day. I will seek her out again when we next find ourselves in Venice.
It was a really wholesome experience with Georgia. We got to visit two splendid wineries and sit and interact with the owners. No better way to get to know the local culture better and create a core memory.
Franscesca was awesome and so was the vineyard tours we went to! The light lunch was lovely and the prosecco was the best I've ever had! Countryside is beautiful and a different side of Veneto! I will do this tour again next time I am in Venice.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to taste great wine from family owned wineries. The owners were amazing and took the time to explain so much about the wineries and wine production. The different type of wine I tried were great! Francesca was amazing as well! She made me feel like we were life long friends.
great day exploring the prosecco hills! our guide was great and the wineries fantastic. highly recommend
The views of the hills and mountains were gorgeous and just as wonderful as the Prosecco! Vanessa was so knowledgeable and educated us throughout the day and in between visits. Because we had a group of 7 it was like a private tour!
Such a great experience. The first winery is in a stunning location And the wine and food match the location The second winery is quite as picturesque but the warmth and knowledge shared is equally as enjoyable and the accompanying food platter served by Nona is heart warming A real family business based on a quality product We all loved the experience, from my 18 to 24 year old, and we learned a lot about Prosecco and small businesses in 2025
Such a great experience with Georgia exploring the Prosecco Hills, she had great information on the region and the Prosecco. The vineyards we visited were exceptional and told the history of Prosecco making with such pride. Views were Spectacular. Recommend this trip for any adults who want to learn more about the region and the process.
Terrific and intimate tour of two separate vineyards in the most exquisite towns of Santo Stefanoa and Guia where we had the opportunity to learn about Prosecco production, have several tastings and sample delicious cheeses, meats and various appetizers. Our tour guide Vanessa, was phenomenal and so easy to talk to and knowledgeable of the region as she is a true Venezia !
This was the most amazing experience. We were taken to two locally family owned vineyards - they were absolutely stunning. Neither was overly crowded, the service and lite lunch were absolutely amazing - this is a day I will never forget. The tour guide was so knowledgeable, it was nice to be picked up in Venice in a mini-van, included, the tour operator drove you, it was so cool to see the countryside. (the train just seemed risky w/ timing, other tours offered that option), the tastings were very generous, and the vineyards offered additional tastings that were not included, but they wanted us to try more! You can purchase and combine the shipping between the two vineyards - this is THE tour you must go-on, you will not regret it.
This was an exceptional tour with Ways Tours from Venice. My tour guide Giorgina, was great. She had so much knowledge of the area and was very friendly and professional. Our first winery, Francesco Follador, Valdobbiadene, was fantastic. Stefano sure knows Prosecco. We tried 4 different ones. They were so good, I had 6 bottles shipped home to Canada. The family made us feel very at home. Second winery was Guia and also very good. Quite a variety of Prosecco. Loved this tour and I would highly recommend it
Our tour guide was really nice and had a lot of good information about the area. We learned a lot about prosecco and all the tastings were great. The first place had meat and cheese and breads two see how they paired with the different types of prosecco. The second place had a wonderful view. The whole area was a beautiful drive. Time on the drive went quickly with the conversation with our guide.
This experience was 10/10! Georgia was a knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us so much about the wines, the history and the region! The wineries were amazing and tastings and food delightful! One of the best tastings I’ve done. Small group of eight made it personal and comfortable. The van was modern, clean and comfortable also. The first winery had a gorgeous outlook and we sat on a balcony by overlooking the vines! Just magnificent views and glorious sunshine!
This was an awesome experience. From the time we were picked up from the train station to the drop off.
This tour is a must!! With a short visit in Venice we wanted to visit the Prosecco region and this tour was the perfect amount of time. Started with a comfortable ride and lots of great information about the region and the land. The two vineyards we stopped at were stunning, the Prosecco was amazing and the knowledge gained is priceless. Vanessa was absolutely amazing and friendly. She guided us the entire way and was a job to have with us. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, you won’t be disappointed.
What a wonderful day! Vanessa our guide was so nice and knowledgeable. In between wineries we took a couple scenic photos in the region which was nice. A perfect activity for a rainy day - we were inside the entire time so we were comfortable and dry. The lunch at the first winery was delicious! Very vegetarian friendly as well. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of the pasta but we also got a plate full of crostini and cheese that I couldn’t finish! Very sizeable lunch. The first winery was a very quaint, family run business and was a casual nice setting. They were very generous with the pours and we learned a lot about each varietal. 3 varietals in total. Generous pours with as much serve yourself revisits as you desire. The second winery was a more traditional winery experience where they walk you through the making and bottling process, and then you taste 3 varietals. Massimo was very knowledgeable and sweet and spoke from a more proper education perspective. It was good to experience the contrast of both wineries. Bought bottles at both because they were both great. I traveled alone but felt very comfortable the entire time. I would say the car perfectly fit 7 since I was in the front seat. Would have been right with 8. A wonderful day making new friends and having a great time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a more local experience if you’ve done the basic Venice tours before.
Francesca was on time and ready to go! She provided history of the economy on the drive to the first winery. At Rivagranda, Silvia the wine maker explained the region, DOC vs DOCG and how their vineyard harvested and made wine manually. At Col de Lupo, Julia showed how some automation could be used on the DOCG process. The vineyards had a variety of Prosecco that suited many/each taste. It was a good day!!!
Have been on many wine tours and this was the most enjoyable and informative ever. The first winery was all about the grape and vineyard before tasting 3 great wines. The second winery was more about how Prosecco is made. Absolutely fantastic.
Excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and conversational. Both wineries were very nice and Prosecco was delicious. Bought a bottle to take home.
Vanessa was an excellent and knowledgeable host and took us to two amazing vineyards. We forgot to tell them in advance that I can’t have gluten and both locations were kind and accommodating of the restriction for me. We enjoyed touring the vineyards and learning about the families committed to their Prosecco-making process. Vanessa made the road trip go by quickly with interesting insights about Veneto. This was a well-planned day trip from Venice and we would definitely do it again!
If you’re looking for some time away from the crowds in Venice, this is a nice way to spend the day. Our guide, Francesca was so nice and helped us understand the Veneto region and culture. We were the only ones on this tour so it felt like a very personalized experience.
What a wonderful day!! Francesca is a perfect guide, so welcoming, informative and fun! I thought I knew about Prosecco but still learned so much at each winery!! The hostesses at each winery were welcoming and just lovely! Three tastes at each and they were not stingy! Food at each was great too! (Even for a vegetarian that they graciously accommodated.) At first stop, there was some kind of zucchini chutney that was amazing (from their own zucchini!). I did buy six bottles of my favorite at each to ship back to US and they were so kind to arrange for the shipping company to send them together so I saved quite a lot of $$ by combining them. The Prosecco is not that expensive, it's the shipping cost, but I would encourage you to buy & ship!! I have shipped wine back from Australia and Cava back from Spain! And it is so fun to share with friends! Especially when I had the Cava from the actual Cava region! (I have completed my trifecta of sparking wines, Cava in Cava, Champagne in Champagne and now Prosecco in Prosecco! Didn't ship Champagne, cost of those bottles plus the one I loved, I could get in US anywhere.) Anyhoo my friends and my one neighbor are really looking forward to Prosecco now! Makes sitting around sipping on bubbly a special event! The drive through the Italian countryside was fantastic too! So gorgeous! Francesca had maps for everyone and told us a lot about the Prosecco region. Very easy to get to meetup spot from Santa Lucia train station, be sure to read the added instructions on where exactly to meet Francesca (very easy too). Was so also really nice that it was limited to 8 people (seats in vehicle). I have taken many wine tours in many countries and this was probably my favorite, doesn't hurt that Prosecco is my favorite too!
Francesca was our guide and was very knowledgeable. We had a great time with our small group. The area was beautiful and the wine and food were great.
My daughter and her boyfriend really enjoyed this tour. They said their guide was genuine and very knowledgeable about the area. They ended up being the only two on the tour, which was pretty special. I think that is rare. The guide said the tour is usually full.
This was a great tour to introduce you to the ends and outs of Prosecco! Giorgia was amazing, very entertaining, and informative. You get the opportunity to visit two family owned vineyards and try 3 or 4 wines per vineyard. They even prepared some local foods to try and pair with the wines. You’ll learn what true Prosecco is and get the opportunity to see what Tuscany was like before it became touristy. Such a fun/local experience! Highly recommend for wine lovers or really anyone that wants to see what true Italy is like!
Our tour guide Vanessa was amazing! She was a wealth of information. I loved how we want to local prosecco vineyards. The drive was beautiful and comfortable.
Vanessa was great and knowledgeable and entertaining. The two vineyards were beautiful and really have a great overview of the Prosecco process.
The tour featured beautiful scenery in the rolling hills, along with a delicious light lunch and plenty of great prosecco wine. Our guide was sweet and great to hang with.
We loved this tour, especially our guide Anita and the wine makers we visited. We learned so much and tasted great wines!
