From Santa Lucia Station To Venice Hotel: Private Water Taxi Transfer

Travel Curious is at your service for all of your Venice Transfers, to and from your centrally located hotel in the city.

Santa Lucia Station is the only railway station on the island of Venice, serving passengers arriving from all over Italy and beyond. The station is situated directly on the Grand Canal, making it easily accessible by water transport. The so-called Floating City is unique in the world in the sense that you will not find any cars on the islands, and as a result, travelling by boat is the most convenient and scenic way to get to your hotel in Venice. Arranging for a private water taxi transfer ahead of time takes the stress out of planning your trip to Venice. It also gives you an exhilarating introduction to the charming canals of Venice as you cruise towards your accommodation and saves you from navigating Venice’s winding streets and bridges with luggage.

We understand that water taxis can be difficult to find and understand for those new to Venice, so our friendly English-speaking assistant will be on hand to meet you on the train platform when you arrive at Santa Lucia Station. With a deep knowledge of the layout of Venice and its canals, they will escort you to your private water taxi, which will take you directly to your hotel in Venice island. We provide this ‘meet and greet’ facility in all train station pick-ups for our Venice Transfers, along with the safe handling of your luggage. We also offer a fixed-price service to ensure costs remain predictable and manageable.

Private water taxis are the ideal option if you want to get to your hotel quickly, especially if you are short on time or have an evening arrival. Ultimately, a private water taxi offers a luxurious and convenient start to your stay in Venice, and it’s worth it if you’re looking for a special, hassle-free arrival.

Please note that the price includes up to 1 luggage and 1 handbag per person. If you'd like to add additional items, please get in touch with us ahead of time, as it will be subject to an additional charge.
