Our exclusive Prosecco tour from Venice was an impressive and insightful experience! Riccardo, our tour guide and driver, was a wealth of knowledge and shared so much fascinating information about Prosecco and the region. The entire Prosecco region was absolutely beautiful, and Riccardo took us to a lovely viewpoint where he explained how the region is laid out and where Prosecco originates. It was a wonderful way to appreciate the landscape and learn more about the wine we were tasting. The first winery was beautiful, with a lovely setting and delicious food. However, the wine presentation felt a little disjointed, as our host was going back and forth between our table and another group, which took away from the overall experience. The second winery was fantastic! The charming setting, complete with farm animals, made it especially memorable, and our wine host was absolutely wonderful. She was engaging, informative, and passionate about Prosecco, making the tasting both enjoyable and educational. One small disappointment was that Riccardo had to leave midway through the tour and hand us over to a colleague. Although his colleague was lovely, we had really enjoyed Riccardo’s knowledge and personality and would have preferred to continue the tour with him. Overall, it was a wonderful day exploring the beautiful Prosecco region, and an experience we will certainly remember. We even ordered Prosecco from both wineries to be shipped to the USA and can’t wait to share them with family and friends! A memorable tour with so much to appreciate, earning four stars from us.

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to Italy. How many opportunities do you have to tour prosecco wineries with a sommelier? Riccardo is welcoming, kind, accommodating, knowledgeable about all things wine, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Everything promised in the tour description was delivered, and then some. The small family wineries were so generous with their time (and pours). Their generational stories are amazing. The views from these wineries are breathtaking. Unlike other wine tours, there is absolutely no sales pressure at the end. But trust me — you will want to buy. Book this tour. You will not regret it. We did not get the exclusive (not shared) tour that we signed up for. Instead the tour guide brought another couple which would have been ok but his car was very small and I was forced into the very narrow rear bench with no foot room or legroom. The back seat was only made for two so my husband nicely gave me his front seat and as he did not fit in the rear bench he was wedged in with the other couple. It was the most horrible tour I have ever been on and should get -5 stars at the most. I asked for at least a partial refund as the tour was not as advertised and did not comfortably accommodate 5 adults. They refused. Ricardo pretended that it was my problem and ignored how uncomfortable it was for my husband. He was making more money at my expense. I feel that I got suckered into a bad situation that I paid for with the expectation of a nice tour. The word bamboozled come to mind

This is a FANTASTIC tour! It's a small, intimate group and we all really got to know each other. Riccardo is exceptional as a guide, he's knowledgeable and personable. He and the vineyard owners taught us so much, and (most importantly) gave us plenty of delicious wine and food. We truly felt welcomed into their homes.

We had an absolutely wonderful Prosecco vineyard tour with Ricardo! From the very beginning, he was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly kind. What made the experience especially memorable was how genuinely interested he was in getting to know us and hearing about our lives. It felt personal and authentic rather than simply a guided tour. The hosts from both vineyards we visited were incredibly welcoming and gracious. The Prosecco tastings were generous, the food was plentiful and delicious, and we never felt rushed. There was such a warm, family-like atmosphere at each stop—we truly felt like welcomed guests rather than tourists. At our first vineyard, we were treated to a delicious spread of breads, meats and cheeses, including homemade pickled zucchini that was absolutely out of this world. We’re still talking about it! We also had the pleasure of meeting the two resident dogs and donkeys. Uma, one of the dogs, clearly considered herself the official leader of our tour and happily showed us around! We also met Iggy a very sweet dog - named after Iggy Pop - which was such a fun and memorable touch. The second vineyard was equally wonderful and welcomed us with another amazing spread of homemade meats, local cheeses and breads topped with fresh tomatoes and artichokes. Everything was fresh, delicious and generously served alongside the Prosecco. The hospitality at both vineyards was remarkable. The entire day felt less like a typical tour and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. Ricardo truly made the experience. His knowledge, warmth, kindness and attention to detail made the day relaxed, personal and incredibly enjoyable. He even picked fresh figs at one of the vineyards for me to taste after learning my grandmother once owned a fig farm in Cosenza, Calabria. This was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. If you are looking for an authentic Prosecco vineyard experience filled with wonderful wine, incredible food, beautiful surroundings and genuinely warm people, we cannot recommend this tour—and especially Ricardo—highly enough!

A wonderful day in Valdobbiadene visiting two wineries to sample the world’s best proseccos. At each vineyard we sampled 4-5 wines (more than we could drink) along with just the right amount of cheeses, meats and pizza. Our tour guide, Riccardo, in addition to being a sommelier, was very knowledgeable of the history of the region and is a true gentleman.

THIS IS THE TOUR YOU WANT TO TAKE if you love great wine, some of the most beautiful Italian countryside you can imagine, and to travel with an actual sommelier (professional wine expert)! I booked this trip with my wife and two teenage kids, and Riccardo led us on an AMAZING Prosecco wine region adventure! He was early to our pick-up point, drives a new car that is clean and comfortable, and is a very personable and likable gentleman. We spent the day touring, learning about, and enjoying some of the finest DOCG wines that come from the famous Valdobbiadene region, including lots of farm fresh meats and cheeses that paired perfectly with our wine selections. Ricardo communicated with us thru what’s app making it easy to find him at the start of the tour. He is a very friendly person, getting to know each of us and ensured we had fun. The two wineries we visited were heavenly! The views were incredible! We learned so many things and had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the day. This tour is worth every penny and was one of our most favorite! There were only 4 of us so we received personal attention. Did I mention that the wine and food served was amazing? He even assisted us with any questions we had about being in Italy or about places to visit. His recommendation for a nice restaurant was spot on! I can’t say enough about this tour and Ricardo. We always look for opportunities to visit with people from the area we are visiting. What we loved about this tour was getting to know not only Riccardo but also the winemakers. The countryside was beautiful. It is an hou's drive from Venice in Riccardo's comfortable car. We were with one other couple. We visited two winemakers in the Prosecco Valley and learned about the area, the grapes and the wine. The tastings were generous and the food was abundant. The company was great. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend this experience.

This was a fabulous addition to our Venice trip. Highly recommended. The first winery pietrovecchio, was my favorite. All the bites of food at both wineries were delicious as well. I will never fail to buy DOCG! You will also realize how close you are to the Southern Alps.

Spent the day exploring the Prosecco Hills and it was absolutely unforgettable. We learned so much from Riccardo about the region—especially the differences between DOC and DOCG—and gained a whole new appreciation for the craft behind Prosecco. The landscapes were stunning, with rolling hills and vineyards in every direction. We visited two family-owned wineries that have been passed down through generations, and the Prosecco was incredible—fresh, elegant, and clearly made with so much pride and tradition. Riccardo was great! Was very knowledgeable and chose two excellent and beautiful wineries to visit. On the drive out he was able to lay the groundwork for the whole process and was fun to chat with. Our Prosecco experience was amazing! Riccardo, our tour person was the best expert and sommelier in the area. We started in Venice, Riccardo picked us up and took in his car all the way to the DOCG area where first prosecco was made. We have learned so much about the history of the town and how the wine was made. The first winery called Petrovecchio was stunning. It’s located high in the mountains and the views were amazing. We had opportunity to try 5 different kinds of prosecco and learned in details how it was made. The host Laura was amazing and super nice! She kept bringing us a lot of wine and food. After that we drove to the second winery La Casa Vecchia, another cute and beautiful place. Our tables for tasting was outside so we could admire beautiful hills. We again had a tour at the winery with the owner and and learned more about their place. We started a tasting and the amount of wine they gave us to try was unbelievable (half of a glass of each prosecco type). They also served us their local food - super delicious. After the second winery we went to the car and drove back to Venice. Again Riccardo was super nice and never rushed us if we wanted to spend more time in the field to enjoy the views and to try the grapes. He also brought us some figs straight from the tree. Our group was only 5 people, wich is amazing and very intimate. We had a chance to ask questions and really relax. The views are breathtaking and the experience was top of the top. I would give 6 stars if we could. If you are looking for a real Prosecco experience this is the tour you should book. It’s also very convenient because you have a pick up and drop off in Venice so after your tour you can stay and see some canals and enjoy the vibe. We will be definitely coming back here again. We had the most amazing tour with Riccardo today. We visited two beautiful wineries and tasted lots of amazing wines, with plenty of breads, cheeses, salami’s etc. Riccardo was so knowledgeable and very patient and accommodating. My husband and I had a fantastic day touring the Prosecco region of Italy, about 75 minutes outside of Venice. Riccardo was an excellent driver and tour guide. Himself a sommelier, his knowledge of the region and winemaking process was a great supplement to the information passed on by Laura and Emmanuel at their respective family wineries. Laura at Pietrovecchio was especially knowledgeable and accommodating. The tastings at each winery were generous -- not to mention delicious! -- and paired with pizza and charcuterie at each venue. The region is beautiful and you will be treated to gorgeous views. Highly recommend this excursion!
