Doge's Palace And St Mark's Basilica Fast-track Tour In Venice

Our tour guide Martina was fantastic and explained everything in detail appropriate for the group. I learned a lot and enjoyed it so much! Doge's Palace and the Basilica are beautiful and not to be missed on a visit to Venice. We also did the terrace which was a great add on to get some nice pics of the square. One side note - look out if you need to use the bathroom, the attendants are comically stern, but at least the facilities are very clean. Overall, recommend the tour.

Monika was our tour guide and she was superb. One of the best tour guides we ever had. She had a definite Venetian edge tour, made the tour all the better and we didn’t even realize we would get to go across the Bridge of Sighs and also see the prison. That was a bonus. But the icing on the cake was the tour guide Monika she was perfect and we had a delightful time.

Very informational and in depth. I personally like a little more lighthearted commentary and present-day connection in my tours, so this was a bit dry for me. Little insight on women, regular Venetians, or people of color. Still, I learned a lot.

The tour is an absolute not to miss part of Venice. The history, the culture, the life of Venice all come out in this tour with a fantastic guide. Our guide took a great pace, funny engaging and in love with what she was showing us throughout the tour. It was infectious we loved it and frankly surprised by this history from a 1300 world of Venice origins and contributions to the world. Very impressive.

Very general tour that missed the most important room – the Great Council Hall with Tintoretto's Il Paradiso, the largest oil painting in the world. We came specifically to see it and didn't get to. Very disappointing.

Interesting tour to get a lot of information in these more than 2 hours. The guide was very skilled ( teacher ;-) ) and gave the most important and valuable explanation in a pleasant way. We have now a good impression of the history of Palace and Basilica. There is probably much more to discover, but for us this tour was ideal. The fast track is top.

I have used Viator for many many expieriences world wide .I have never had a bad expierience until now. Besides the tour guide being extremely rude, my grandmother had trouble with the steps, which was not defined in the description of the tour. The tour guide left us for someone to help us down. We waited for over an hour for assistance and completely missed St Basilica. That was the entire reason we booked this tour, so grandma could experience it. Sadly after this horrible experience.. I will never use Viator again.

We were on the 10:30 a.m. tour on Thursday, September 24th. We had no trouble locating the tour operators in St. Mark's Square through their detailed directions. Easy check in, friendly, good instructions. Great tour! Our guide, Barbara, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kept us attentive with her commentary over headsets. We felt well informed and saw everything. Skip the line and a guided tour is the way to go to see the two impressive and beautiful spots. Highly recommended, especially if you can get Barbara as your guide!
