I cannot recommend Filippo enough. He is such a lovely photographer, with a kind spirit and laid back approach. We were traveling with my twin and her husband. We were wanting twin photos with a few of our husbands in them. Filippo was outstanding. Not only did he take photos, he gave us history about the landmarks. Very patient with the poses! If you are on the scale on whether to book or not. GO FOR IT! You will not be disappointed! We did a food tour in Venice and some other things, but this photo shoot was the highlight of our Venice trip! We got some great pictures out of it. There were a couple of surprising things. 1. It was so much fun! He tells you to pose in some crazy ways to get some good pictures and we just kept laughing it was just fun. 2. Venice is really crowded, but he managed to turn a corner find an alley find a spot where people just didn't know about the crowds were gone mysteriously. 3. He was quite knowledgeable about the city and just a friendly guy to talk to you, we enjoyed just hanging out with him for a little while.
Filippo is absolutely great and highly professional! He helps a lot with posing and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. It was quite quick to have the pictures back and we had more edited photo's provided than claimed in the package. He's punctual as well and his English is fantastic. Filippo did not show up because there was a small chance of rain. We went in July, and there is always a chance in the morning. What’s worse, he strung us along for 2 hours while we waited for him. Shortly, before our appointment, he said he would be 30 min late. We were there on time. We waited. Then, he pushed to 1 hour and 15 min. We waited, hoping for family photos with our two boys. Then, he pushed to 1 and 45 min. And told us he had not even arrived in Venice because he was worried any rain would damage his camera. So, unprofessional. And Non-responsive to our check-ins while we waited. Meanwhile, we were waiting at the meeting location. There was only rain for 5 min during the entire 1 hour and 45 minutes we waited for Filippo. We took amazing photos with our iPhones while we were waiting. Hardly any rain. You don’t need a photographer and certainly not one that would do this to you. Afterward Filippo sent me a message and took no accountability for having a family of four dressed up for photos and having us wait for him for two hours.

We were a family of 5 adults (sister,cousins,mom and brother). Filippo set up our shoot and he was friendly and recommended a better time during the day since we're were there during extreme heat. We met Daniel our photographer and he was wonderful. He was professional, friendly and took us to less touristy spots to capture amazing photos. We did group and individual pics in a few different locations. We met near the Rialto Bridge location. I selected the smallest package bc I only wanted a few pics and my only regret is I didn't get a package with more photos bc every single one highlywere perfect! Wonderful ending to my new favorite place. Daniel also gave us some history of Venice on our walks to different locations and even recommend a place to get pizza for dinner 👌 Would highly recommend this!!!! You will not regret it!

I had a great experience working with Filippo. I highly recommend hiring him on capturing your precious moments in Venice. He is so passionate to get the perfect shot for you and will direct you and suggest poses during the photo shoot. I am so happy with the gallery of photos he was able to capture of me and my partner :). I am not a frequent user of WhatsApp, as this application is the main form of communication. Please read the directions after booking, as it will make your photoshoot much smoother :)

Filippo was very patient and kind. My husband and I had our 4 month old son with us to take family photos and he helped carry his stroller up and down all the steps, took his time when my son was fussy, and also was flexible on the time to meet up. It was a little tough at first because I couldn’t get ahold of him in the beginning to know where at what time to meet, but after he responded back a couple days later, the rest of the communication went well and I got my pictures back in 4 days. The quality of the photos were also very nice.

I communicated weeks in advance about our arrival, meeting location and photo shoot plans in Venice. Given that we were there for a short period I wanted to be clear. The day before the shoot the photographer asked me for the appointment time and meeting arrangements. This seemed odd--but I providedtthe information. He later told me that he had something else scheduled at that time. He then retracted and agreed to meet. He arrived late by 30 minutes and was apologetic. He arrived with no flash to take evening pictures. When I asked "why", he said he liked working with natural light. I told him that there was no natural light. The pictures all came out very dark, underexposed, grainy and overshadowed. Most of the beauty in Venice is not seen on our faces are not even detectable in 90% of the pictures. He said he would work to find a solution and its been a week with no communication at all. Filipo, when people travel 7,000 miles to a destination they are hoping to have pleasant experiences. It didn't appear that you made our photo session a priority at all. When problems arise it is important to deal with them appropriately and as an adult. The pictures were very disappointing; however, honestly speaking it was the way you dealt with it that was most upsetting. We have asked for a full refund and are posting here to let you and others know that your level of skill maybe high (potentially) but your organization, ability to prepare for your appointments and self-accountability is in need of evaluation. We deserved better.
