Alvise is the best guide/teacher, on top of being an incredible artist... We had such a good, relaxing time painting and talking about things. A must visit when we come back to Venice.

We are a family of 5 travelling Italy. This was a great event and we all loved it. A bit expensive but the artist taking the class was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful.
Amazing experience with my daughter.
Our tutor was absolutely amazing! She helped our 4-year-old bring the mask of her dreams to life, making the experience fun, special, and memorable for our whole family. While our masks dried, it was also really cool to see Casanova’s prison and learn a little more about Venice’s history. This was one of our favorite experiences of our entire trip to Venice, and something we’ll always look back on fondly. We couldn’t recommend this experience more!
Marila is amazing! It was so much fun!! We had a great time, the teacher is so kind and nice!
We had an amazing time! It was such a lovely escape from the chaos of the busy square to sit down, relac, and spend over an hour leisurely painting our masks and chatting with our lovely guide. The kids put so much effort into their masks and were thrilled to get lots of positive feedback... as was I! It was a fun, creative and relaxing experience, and a really nice way to spend an afternoon in Venice.
So fun!! Alvis was great to work with!! He was super helpful for those like me that are art challenged. He was able to help me create a beautiful mask to take home to the US. Definitely recommend!
We had a good time, the instructor was very helpful and made sure our masks looked good in the end. Free admission to the prison museum was a bonus.
Excellent position. Lovely tutor. Lovely experience just about the right amount of time. Able to walk around skme of the prison museum while waiting for masks to dry. Really enjoyed it.
Have an idea of how you might want to decorate your mask. Colors, design. Also can visit the museum.
Ricardo was a empathetic, patient , helpful and very informative guide. He made our experience memorable and unique.
Great Gondola ride around Venice. Glass blowing demo was literally 5 minutes and then you were into a very expensive shop of glass. We didn't stay long here.
The gondola ride was really cool and definitely a great price when compared to the price you'd pay if you paid at a gondola station. I would skip the glass blowing portion. It's really a gimmick to rhen hit you up on a semi-hard sale to buy some of their very expensive glass products.
The meeting location was a nightmare to get to, we couldn’t find it for over two hours. The directions they give you on the ticket is almost useless. GPS does not work well here. The glass blowing demo is less than 3 min. The remaining 30 min is them trying to sell you 1K-4K blown glass. I had to call the help number to find where the guide went for the gondola ride. The gondola ride sucks, it’s 6 people PACKED on a boat and the guy rowing is smoking a cigarette or talking to the other rowers the entire time. No, they will NOT sing to you. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS EXCURSION!
Gondola was totally worth the experience. We were very excited for the glass blowing portion of the tour. Our initial guide we met up with mislead us for where the location of the glass blowing was and we missed it. Definitely felt like we got ripped off half the tour... too bad
I was unable to book a walking tour while we were in Venice so this was the backup plan. It was a mistake - we would have been better off with a guidebook. The glassblowing demonstration was all of 5 minutes (if that) and culminated with a 'visit' to a Venetian glass shop that felt more like entrapment as there was no obvious way out. And too late I noticed the e-mailed instructions about the audio option to 'guide' us on the gondola ride so we had no idea of what we were seeing. Unfortunately, a ride in a gondola is really not interesting unless you know what you're gliding past. Even if it was a couple in love, it's not very romantic to be in the smaller canals. Whatever happened to the days of singing gondoliers, or at least gondoliers who introduced themselves and made an effort to make your ride more enjoyable?!

The glassblowing demonstration was a little disappointing. It seemed quite rushed and then we were taken straight into the shop where they demonstrated what was for sale. It would have been nicer to have more of an explanation about Murano glass and not just a sales pitch.
The gondola ride was a bit short but nice.
Overall, not worth saving the money on a single gondola ride by combining these two things. Best just to pay a little bit more for an extended gondola ride by itself.
London April 2018

I really enjoyed this tour! We started off with glass blowing and my friend and I were the only ones there so it felt like a private tour! It was awesome to see this process and made seeing each glass piece from there on much more interesting. We also got a small souvenir at the end which was very nice! There were more people on our gondola tour as people can purchase just the gondola for around 4 euro less (I would highly recommend the package deal). Our guide let us use a new application they are piloting that explains what you are seeing as you are in the gondola based on your location. It really enhanced the experience. I loved every minute of this, worth every penny!

The gondola is an experience one can have when in Venice. With this combo tour, one does not have to worry about dealing with the gondoliers. The tour guide takes care of all of it. Also, the glass blowing demonstration was indeed something unique and very creative. We enjoyed the whole journey to move about in Venice in a gondola and viewing the Grand Canal.

very good organization. perfect service. Venice is always worth a visit. Thanks for the nice day. keep it up.

What a waste of time. We saw about 10 mins of demo and then it was a sell for glass. Very unfriendly. Didnt do the Gondola ride as we had to find our own way to meeting point and not a lot of instructions. Not worth it.

Interestingly, we really had mixed emotions about this. The glass blowing felt somewhat staged and also felt like more of a pitch to sell you high end Murano Glass. The guide was informative about what makes Murano Glass special, but still the blowing demo was about 5 minutes and the sales pitch lasted a quite a while longer. The gondola ride was fun and a must for anyone in Venice. We were in a bat with four strangers and while it did not impact the ride, it was certainly not romantic. If you are looking for a romantic ride, pay the tariff and do your own ride. I am not sure if the gondolier spoke any English, but he spoke to every other gondolier we passed on the water. They are magicians with one oar though...have been a competitive rower I can only image how much strength they must have to push that 30 foot boot around like they do. Enjoyable and worth the trip if you just want to say I rode in a gondola.

I had a difficult time finding the guide for this event. Wasn't familiar with the square and he wasn't holding the sign up. Once I found him, he didn't really look enthused for this activity. I didn't know he was simply bringing us to the 'museum', and that someone else was taking over and he left as as soon as the demonstration started. The Glassblowing demo was great, the artisan was very talented, and the steps were explained by the person who worked in this 'museum'. After the demonstration we went to another room, where they showed us different samples of glass and gave us the prices of what these pieces costs. I wasn't expecting this, at all. A tad disappointing, cause while it wasn't high pressure sales, she certainly did mention prices a few times, and I felt a bit of 'pressure' to purchase something. I ended up purchasing some earrings for 25 Euros. We also received a very nice glass gift. This is something that made it worthwhile. The next day I decided to go to Murano and was able to watch a glass blowing demo for free.
As for the Gondola Ride, it was shared with 4 other people, and while the ride was great, the system in place to coordinate the rides wasn't efficient. There were many people scheduled for the ride at the same time, and it took some time for the guide to coordinate every thing. Our gondola driver wasn't the most talkative. He was quiet and 'just did his job'. I liked the experience, because it was my first time, but may not do it again.

The glass blowing demo was too short and the selling of the glass seemed to take precedent. If you want to see glass blowing go to Murano island because you can buy the glass there too.

Simply brilliant experience!! I highly recommend this activity which will test patience and precision. The host, Marila, who speaks French and English, is incredibly kind and can help improve your work!
A wonder, there are 6 of us in the family, and both adults and children have enjoyed and learned a lot.
Finally a tour different from the others! To be booked! Curiosities, small tributes, glimpses never seen before, original experiences and above all a passionate guide who enchants you with words and helps you to enter the real Venetian world with all your senses! Her name is Alessandra, if you also find her as a guide you will be lucky!!
A really pleasant tour, a nice walk accompanied by Alessandra empathic guide prepared and smiling. Many small gifts during the experiences and many curiosities to discover a Venice that I could not imagine. It is absolutely worth it
Opportunity to get to know Venice under different aspects. Top artisan chocolate, pleasant and informative walk, the guide Alessandra empirical and passionate about telling her city.
We did this tour by chance and we really enjoyed it. It makes you get into the heart of Venice.
Wonderful experience, well-represented local craftsmanship, seasoned with a great greedy stop.
Excelente, fue muy lindo pasear en góndola y además ver cómo hacen el vidrio soplado, para lo cual dieron una excelente explicasion!
Renè and Federica The best!!! Really very addictive and nice!! The best you can find in Venice!
In the tourist trap genre, the first animation is a real success. See you at the bottom of the clock on St Mark's Square. We are taken to a workshop where we see in less than 5 minutes an accelerated demonstration of glass blowing. The master glassmaker was in such a hurry that he almost ran off. Yeah. Then head to the auction rooms of blown glass objects. I'll pass you on the demonstration of glasses that don't spill... more kitch than ever before. The seller was just nice. I still bought a pendant, of good quality, that I have not seen elsewhere... Just believe it. We were 4 friends and we had the distinct impression of being gogos. I had the worst fears for the second activity, but it fit the description. No exchange with the gondolier who only spoke to his colleagues. The walk was nice because we were 2 couples of friends. I know that the influx of tourists makes life difficult for Venetians, that said I had already had an unpleasant memory of a gondola ride 3 years ago. I tried again. The magic's gone.
The glass blower cztez nice to see him do his last 10 min and there we are we show the works but it's all too disappointing too fast we could not even try anything pfff For the gondola it was correct because the gondola was nice but the tour lasted barely 25min...
