Carnival Dress Experience In Venice

From the reviews and description i thought there would be more. The outfits are scarce, maybe 15-20 for all sizes for the women. I am a 16 and only had the choice of one dress (if you are bigger than that you will not have any), which I did not care for. Husband had choice of only one. The only had a few hats and the type of mask I wanted did not go with dress. We made it work but were very disappointed in the choices provided. The pictures they took were very nice and she was patient and happy to take many more. For the selfies you get 2 outdoor areas. There is no water to get pics, as it was made to seem. Overall a disappointing experience but maybe my expectations were too high.

We had a wonderful time and were made to feel at ease and very special on our 12th wedding anniversary. Like getting married all over again!

Absolutely incredible experience!! I booked for just myself and brought my partner along to take photos but when we arrived we were met with a brilliant host, not only was she very patient when we were running a few minutes late, but she also allowed my partner to try on some of the men's clothing for a mini photoshoot with me when we got there! So many beautiful clothing & venetian mask options to choose from. The host was very knowledgeable & offered assistance throughout the entire experience and was lovely to chat with :) We went when it was 36⁰ (travelling from the UK) & although it was hot we were made to feel very comfortable (the building was cool and there was a shaded area outside by the canal) & the pictures turned out brilliantly. Overall a 10/10 experience & a memory I will cherish forever, I couldn't recommend this experience enough!

What a wildly fun activity we stumbled upon! Even jet-lagged and cranky, we thoroughly enjoyed getting dressed up and taking photos against different backdrops. The owner was there to personally welcome and assist us, and she strongly encouraged us to take our time and change up the accessories. If you are looking for something unique and off-the-beaten path, look no further.

Such a cool experience, since I was visiting Venice in summer and missed carnival it was a great activity to dress up and experience some of the artistry of the costumes. The experience host was so kind as well and the photos are so cool!!

We had such a fun morning! I went with my two daughters aged 12 and 14 and we had the best time dressing up. We had plenty of time to choose our costumes and take photos and it was a really fun experience.

If you’ve ever been fascinated by Venetian carnival and their fabulous ballgowns, please do not miss this opportunity! Leonita was absolutely fantastic with myself and my partner, and extremely encouraging with the photographs! We came away with some beautiful mementos and very fond memories! I’ve shown friends and family the pictures and they’ve all been so impressed!

My granddaughter and I had a fabulous and fun experience here.It was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice ! We arrived early yet we were warmly welcomed and were excited to choose from the beautiful dresses and hats available which were stunning ! We felt like we had stepped back in time . We had beautiful professional pictures taken as well as our own from our mobiles which was great. If you are travelling to Venice this is a must ! You won't be disappointed .

Lirianne was absolutely wonderful. She made our experience one of the most memorable of our visit to Venice. We took literature and will be passing it out to our friends who enjoy travel. The pictures we have are lifetime memories suitable for framing!!!

We were a group of 6 adults here for carnivale and wanting some fun. This experience was so fun for our group. Three cautions. 1- it was carnivale so they were overbooked. We booked two slots for our group. But because it was busy we did not have full selection of outfits. 2- they only had one plus sized outfit which is a shame. 3- we did not get to chooss the photo we wanted printed out and feel there may have been better choices. This could have been due to the large number of bookings. Overall still super fun and we would do it again.

I did the experience solo and it was fun and something different to do in Venice. The staff were really friendly and even though you get a free photo, you'll be able to take so many on your own phone. Also, the staff can help you and will suggest things to try and poses to do. Nice area to take pictures outside.

We all had a wonderful time here! The ladies were kind and patient, and so helpful wirh dressing us and helping us choose accessories, wigs, hats, etc. There were 2 or 3 other parties there at the same time as us, but no one was rushed and there was more than enough space that no one got in each other's way. The ladies were running around, helping everyone. Loved the photo shoot and they let us choose which photo to print, as well as emailed us all the photos we took. We were also allowed to take our time taking photos around the studio and in the small courtyard with our phones. All in all a great time!

What do you do on a rainy day in Venice? Walk around and enjoy the city, sure, but also find some fun indoor entertainment, and Venice Dress Up is exactly that! The owner, Leo, is a lovely woman who allows you to choose your outfit from among many choices, and then offers a photo shoot AND allows you to play around and try on the many masks, hats and accessories. Even if you're not much of a dress up person, you will really enjoy this unique experience!

We found the ad for the Dress up experience at our hotel and thought it would be a fun and different thing to do. We plan to use the photos for our holiday card this year. Th website was easy to navigate. We got there early, but were greeted warmly and got the entire hour devoted to various costumes and tons of photos, both professional and with our own camera.

Easy to find, near city center and train station. Run by a lovely lady, photos done both on camera and my personal device all looked amazing. A variety of costumes, accessories and backgrounds. Well worth the money if you're looking for a good time and a laugh!😃

That was great fun, and both me and my partner will have lovely memories of our stay during carnival, now documented with beautiful photos. My only advice to the business is to have more interesting backgrounds and locations inside the place, but with a bit of AI help, I added some interesting backgrounds to my photos to enhance the experience.

We were rather disappointed with the whole experience. Here are the reasons why: - We arrived on time, as suggested, but had to wait 10 to 12 mins before the session started. It can happen that things overrun - and we have no problem with that, but you expect it to be managed - place to sit, cup of coffee, look at the dresses, explain how things will work, etc. there are plenty of ideas to do so. But nothing happened. Poor show. - We were shown the dresses. While limited in selection and somewhat messy, that was fine. There was quite some flexibility in terms of how the clothes could be fitted - over clothes, etc. which was good. We were then taken to have the pictures taken. Very fast affair. In all I think 3 or 4 pictures were taken which were not shown to us. The photographer chose the picture to be printed and that was that. It would be easy to rig up a second screen so we could have seen the picture prior to it being sent to print. As it happened, we didn't particularly like the picture, yet we had no choice in the matter. - We only got a print. We asked for the picture to be sent by email, but that was not possible. Why not - we would expect a digital print this day and age. - The prints (we got two copies of the same picture - as that was included in the cost, but we were asked whether we really wanted two, we hadn't seen the picture by this time) we got were A5 size. We had expected at least A4 for the cost of the experience. - We were than left to our own devices to take our own pictures, which was fine, and try on some more costumes, hats and masks in front of a number of backgrounds. - We pointed out when leaving that we did not like the picture. If it had been our business, we would have suggested redoing the picture - same or other costumes - and of course sharing the picture prior to printing. - As a last point, the hygiene of sharing dresses, hats and masks is questionable. We would have expected for materials to be wiped between fittings. Some of the masks had lipstick on them - some hats smelled of sweat. In all we thought it was an expensive activity for the service we received. I would have thought the majority of the comments above could easily be remedied to provide a great experience. A real shame.

Me and my teenage daughter had an amazing time wearing a dress that we had chosen from their rail of men's and women's costumes, choosing accessories such as hats and masks, and having a mini-photoshoot together (included in the price). They are happy for you to take your own pictures as well, and will help you to do so, and there are 5 different areas for backdrops. The lady owner knows lots about the costumes and will help you dress

Such a wonderful experience ! My friend and I wanted to celebrate our 62nd Birthday in a special way and this was just perfect ! We enjoyed every minute of it and we both felt young again ! The costumes are so beautiful and the masks and accessories are all amazing. Leontine is an amazing lady so helpful and also went out of her way to help us find the way to the studio. The place is amazing especially the door leading to the canal ! Best Venice souvenier ever ! It was so much fun that, if i could, i would do it all over again and again ! Very nice experience! We had a lot if fun and laughter! They have a lot of costumes in different sizes, many hats and masks. The spaces is great!

Were warmly received by owner Leontine. She is a very friendly and friendly woman who knows a lot about Venice and takes you into the story. Apart from dressing us, she had also arranged a gondola ride to make the photo shoot. This was a very nice fun experience that you should not miss when you are in Venice.
