Spending an evening with Rosa in her house was such a privilege. Her warmth, passion for food and sense of humor is hard to describe. We had an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives, and warmly recommend anyone coming to Venice to experience cooking with Rosa during their trip.
Rosa could not have made our time in Venice any better. The warmth, generosity and kindness she shared was amazing. What was even more amazing was the food. Taste, quality and recipes are phenomenal. To top it off, her sweet 10month old puppy was such a sweet, calm, joy to have around. We have already recommended her several times to friends visiting soon. If back in Venice, we will be visiting her cooking experience again!

I can not say enough kind things for Rosa’s amazing cooking class in Venezia. My son and I (8 years) got to have a cooking class just the two of us (lucky!). Rosa is so warm and talented, authentic and personal. Her recipes are very good and also kind of magical in their simplicity. We learned to make multiple kinds of pasta from scratch, a wonderful Rosa’s Rainbow of cut vegetables, and Tiramisu. It was an unforgettable cultural experience my son and I will always remember. He loved it and loved Rosa. It’s a must!
This was one of the highlights of our trip! I wanted to book a cooking class where we would actually learn and cook, so I read the worst reviews of the top ranked classes before booking with Rosa. One of my best choices! Going into it I was worried about finding the location since other reviews mentioned having an issue, but Apple Maps and Google Maps both went to the same place and we easily found it. Overall I highly recommend Rosa’s class if you want to learn authentic and delicious Italian cooking!

If you want an authentic home Italian made meal from scratch that you help make yourself, THIS IS IT! Rosa is amazing, what a sweetheart and her husband too :) our family of four (with 2 teenage boys) whom were NOT interested at all when I told them what we were going to do, found this to be the highlight of our 2 week trip to Italy! Sanitation was a problem. The cooking class was mostly held outside where the owners dog was. No gloves were offered, though they are shown in the pictures on the booking website. Participants used their fingers to mix flour and eggs for pasta dough. We squeezed tomatoes with our hands into a shared bowl. Some pet the dog. Another had a cut on her hand. Once the batches of dough were made by each individual, they were combined to be served to all of us. It was difficult to eat the food we had prepared. If I had been in a restaurant, and saw what I saw, I would have left. I just cannot recommend this experience. I have taken numerous cooking classes around the world, including in third world countries, and never have I been so taken aback by the lack of sanitation. Find a different cooking class in Venice, or elsewhere.
Fantastic night at Rosa’s home! This was an incredible way to spend a delicious evening with family or friends. Rosa was warm, funny, and friendly and knows her cooking! I was with my family who are between the ages of 14-72 and all had a great time. Will come visit again the next time we are in Venice!
We had such a great cooking class with Lorenzo. We met outside his apt which was very professionally ready for us. He was kind and thoughtful with our meals. I am Gluten Free and had high hopes of making pasta in this class, and Lorenzo was able to deliver! We made a simple pasta and sauce which were delicious, sea bass which I was very pleasantly surprised with, and a strawberry tiramisu which was so nice. We had wine while cooking and with the meal and had lovely conversation the whole time. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone!
Lorenzo was exceptional. My wife and I have taken many cooking classes all over Italy. This class was inclusive, however, also allowed for each participant to engage as they wanted. It was fun, delicious and perfect for everyone. Thank you for a very special afternoon!!

Our group of 8 travelled around Italy and Greece for 2 weeks, going to amazing places and having amazing experiences. At the end of the trip, we asked each other what our favorite part of the trip was, and our entire group said "Cooking class with Rosa"! Rosa is extraordinary! Not only is she an EXCELLENT cook and teacher, but she was hilarious and made us feel like part of the family the entire evening! Alot of the cooking classes take place in restaurants, but this one is in Rosa's home! This made it intimate and we got to cook in an Italian home! We cooked, laughed so hard, drank wine, and had the time of our lives! I would encourage anyone going to Venice to join in on this one-of-a-kind experience in Rosa's home!

We left knowing we had a knowledge of how to make and adapt recipes that we will share with all our loved ones in the USA!!!
Rosa is amazing. We had so much fun last night. I am not a good cook but she helped us every step of the way. I learned so much. Our ravioli and pasta dishes were so good. I highly recommend this. We took a water taxi to get there in her home.
Its experience is so much fun. We took a water taxi from the hotel to get there, which made it very easy. Rosa is wonderful. She helps you through each dish step-by-step, and explains the process. We went for dinner and booked the whole experience so we made ravioli., pesto pasta and pasta with sauce. Then Tiramisu for desert. We also left with a bunch of her recipes that she shared. We are from the states and we met a nice family from Scotland that was cooking with us. It was one of our favorite all-time things that we have done in Italy.
This was probably the best thing we did on our whole trip. Rosa is amazing and we lucked out as it was just the four of us. We had so much fun learning about the foods we were going to prepare as well as the whole process of making everything and then enjoying a great meal.

It was a great experience highly recommend would’ve been nearly perfect had he offered coffee since it began at 10 AM showing us the way Italians drink their coffee. he was cleaning it when we arrived and I thought perfect as we ran for nearly 20 minutes in the rain to make sure we didn’t miss it. Would’ve been a great start. Was advertised wine offered during class, had hoped for red wine 🍷during the event and possibly recipes written down to take with us would’ve been an added bonus, but it was an amazing experience!!!Lorenzo was fantastic. I had pretty high expectations of a cooking class in Italy. But Rosa’s passion for food and people surpassed every notion of how food is best when shared with family and good friends. We bonded quickly with people we never knew before and coalesced into friends around a melding of flavors that was like a party in every bite; Rosa became family with the utterance of her first greeting in broken English. Our cooking class with Rosa was the highlight of my entire 2 week vacation with my family. Rosa welcomes you into her home and INSTANTLY makes you feel like family. All of my 3 kids had so much fun leaving to make pasta and all of the dishes we ate for dinner. I was also SO appreciative that Rosa went above and beyond to ensure that my son, who has a tree nut allergy, felt fully included in everything we learned and did while making sure that he was safe in the food prep process and could eat everything that the rest of us ate (just with some ingredient modifications). I cannot recommend this experience enough, I would do it again and again if I could. 100% recommend!!!
