A Sparkling Day In The Prosecco Hills From Venice

What a truly marvelous day! The wineries were incredible, the lunch one of the best meals I've ever had, and the whole day went seamlessly. We traveled with two small kids and everyone went above and beyond to accommodate them and make it an enjoyable experience for them too! I would highly highly recommend this day trip!

This tour was excellent! I traveled with my partner but made friends that we did the tour with! We had a fun and exciting time from the time the bus left and it returned! Our tour guide was great and the wine was perfect!

One of my favorite tours! We started with a short scenic drive through the prosecco hills with our first stop at a medium to large winery. Carlo walked us through the process step by step in the factory before taking us to the taste the prosecco. I have never had prosecco this good, left with 3 bottles ranging from 8-15 euros each. From there we went to a local restaurant and ate an incredible lunch. After lunch we went to a gorgeous property with a small natural winery. It was great seeing the difference between the two approaches, we also love natural wine.

Carlo was absolutely amazing. We learned so much. Had so much fun. And I can’t even explain how amazing his family’s restaurant is. I can’t recommend this enough and I will be visiting his town again soon!

This tour was worth every penny. We had an incredible day. Our guide was informative and funny. He knew a lot about wine and the Prosecco region. The wineries we visited were great but the real highlight was lunch! We had an amazing day and I would not only recommend this trip to everyone, I would take it again and again.

This is a great activity if you want to see beautiful scenery, learn about Glera grapes and Prosecco production, and have a fabulous meal. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us the beauty and stories of the hills of Treviso. A definite five star experience!

This was a great day of beauty, food and wine. Giulio, our guide, was informative and friendly. She helped us solve a departure problem for the next day which went above and beyond what was required. The first winery was very educational with fabulous wines. Lunch was so good that we didn’t really need dinner when we got back. 200% would do again.

This tour was absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend it. The experience is most definitely worth the cost. We learned a lot about the history of Prosecco and of course the Prosecco tasted great. The tastings are more than generous and the food is delicious. I loved every single food item we received for lunch. Most importantly, a huge thank you and recognition to our tour guide Carlo! He is the funniest, kindest, and coolest guide we’ve ever had. He made the truly very knowledge but also a great time. We truly enjoyed every aspect of this excursion.

Giulia was a vivacious host and great driver on the twisty roads. Both wineries had fantastic and different from home wines to try. If you liked a sample, o problem to top up. We liked the various styles of prosecco at Mon Bon so much we. Ought a case. The there was lunch at a Antiche Osteria di via Brandolini, sumptuous. Yes that is living la dolce vita.

This was a wonderful day trip from Venice. Julia was amazing. The two wineries were unique and personal in different ways and the local family restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend!

Vanessa brought us from Venice and gave us some regional insights on the way to the first vineyard, that was good then we had an excellent lunch on our way to the 2nd vineyard. Vanessa was a great guide and the hosts at each vineyard were very courteous and knowledgeable

This tour was incredible! With only 8 people in the group, it felt very private and personal throughout the entire day. We had the best time with Carlo! This was possibly my fiance's favorite day of our trip. We learned a lot about Prosecco, the grapes, and the different types of Prosecco. I finally learned the difference between brut, extra dry, etc.! We felt lucky to go on a day where they were harvesting, dropping the grapes, and then getting to see the conveyors for bottling and packaging. We also can't forget the incredible lunch! Highly recommend opting for family style at lunch. Everything was amazing and flavorful. Carlo made the whole day very easy with train tickets from Venice and meeting us with an air conditioned van. Highly recommend spending your day in the Prosecco Hills with Carlo!

We had an amazing time on the wine tour with Carlo. Communication and organization with train tickets was easy. The tour itself was excellent, visiting both a larger, more modern vineyard and a small production one. Lunch was a highlight, very delicious with more wine. We stopped at a few beautiful viewpoints. Carlos was a great guide: good driver, provided lots of information about wine and the area, and was very fun and entertaining. From start to finish, it was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend this tour!

This is a must do for Venice an excursion. Carlo our driver was fantastic. He was so accommodating and pleasant to be with. He took us to 2 different beautiful vineyards/winery to taste top-notch Prosecco. After he took us to his family’s restaurant for a beautiful meal, I wish I could’ve done this every day it was that good! I would give this 10 stars if I could.. such an amazing day Grazi Carlo!

10 Stars!! Carlo went above and beyond to make sure our experience was enjoyable and memorable. Two vineyards. Two very different experiences. Both were excellent! The best part, he took us to his family’s Osteria for dinner. We were fed like we were family. We left there fat and happy. Plenty of Prosecco! No hangover! (tiny bubbles, no sulfates) Thank you Carlo for memories that will last forever. Ciao!

Overall was a very nice experience. They did ask me to change the date. I originally parked, which was not ideal, but didn’t really negatively impact our experience.. I see little logistics of it were handled very well. We got our train tickets when we expected them and the pick up was very smooth.. Even though I would recommend that they possibly have a sign when so that you can identify who you’re supposed to meet when you get off the train. The driver was a very nice well informed lady. She made the trip very pleasurable. The wineries we went to had great stories and taught us a lot about making Prosecco. The passion that these two wineries had four Prosecco was very obvious. And we appreciated that they obviously love their lot, their land, their grapes their vines and took great pride in their techniques. It was really nice to learn about it all. As far as the Prosecco itself, it was good, but it’s not the Prosecco we in the US know. It’s the more local version of Prosecco, which is great to experience but different than our pallets are used to.. I really appreciated how each winery cared for how they made their Prosecco when they would pick their grapes. That really turned the Prosecco making from a science to an art. I could see these wineries as chefs of Prosecco making. And understood how when they picked their grapes is key to what their wine is gonna taste like that was extremely interesting.

Superb trip well worth its money with none stop prosecco tastings, plus a fabulous lunch and scenic views in a truly lovely setting. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Overall a wonderful day! Carlo was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about the region. The meal was delicious and the setting was beautiful. I highly recommend! A beautiful experience. Our guild was Georgia and she was an amazing guild. She was very friendly and felt less like a tour guild anf more like a friend showing us the area. The winery’s we visited were amazing and have great stories. The food we had was great. Overall 10/10 would recommend, especially Georgia. This wad my first solo travel ever and she made it feel very easy to be social.

Wonderful experience with beautiful views of the countryside. Prosecco was very good with good explanation on the differences of various Prosecco types. Lunch was awesome and your guide was excellent. Maybe my favorite tour of all time!! Highly recommend.

Carlo is truly one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. Kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Tour includes enough prosecco samples to fill the Venice Laguna. Highly highly recommend.

Beautiful views. Great guide. We learned a lot about Prosecco and enjoyed tasting several different types. If you think you might buy a bottle or two make sure to leave room in your checked bag--shipping is expensive and you have to buy at least 6 bottles to ship. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the family restaurant mentioned but the food was still good. Overall worth it.

Our guide was fantastic. Just the right level of history and exploration. We went to some off the path wineries that we could not have found ourselves.

This is a must do when visiting Venice. Get out of city and into beautiful prosecco country. Julia and Carlo are excellent hosts and organizers. Wonderful wineries and delicious lunch.

Carlo was a good guide overall. When our day stretched a little longer than anticipated, he drove us all back to Venice instead of waiting for a late train. That was appreciated. He is a local and has excellent knowledge of the area. Especially enjoyed the smaller biodiversity-focused winery we visited.

This was an amazing tour. We had Ricardo "little Ricky" as we named him as our driver, perfect English, and so knowledgeable. He was attentive to everyone's needs, cares, and wants. Would highly recommend!

This tour was excellent! We arrived at the train station in Venice and boarded a train for about a 50-minute ride. Carlo was waiting for us at the station when we arrived. Before starting the Prosecco tour, he offered us a beverage and gave us time to use the restroom. He also provided cold bottled water for the drive, which was a thoughtful touch. I would strongly recommend this tour. Everything was well organized, Carlo was a fantastic host, and we had an amazing time!
