Relais Alberti

Great place! We stayed 3 nights 2 weeks ago. What a lovely place! Every euro was worth it. Beautiful little place on the Lido, beautifully decorated and a great bed. We loved the style and the atmosphere, also in the area outside of the hotel. Far away from all the busy touristic places in Venize. Super quiet and such a nice ambiente in Malamocco. The owner was very nice and also the whole staff very dedicated to the guests. Very friendly and polite. A great experience. The breakfast was very lovely, you had everything you needed and it was obviously well taken care off. Thank you so much for this nice experience, will definitely want to come back soon!

Our stay at Relais Alberti was unfortunately extremely disappointing and far from the impression the hotel presents online. The photos, reviews, and pricing suggest a high-end boutique hotel, but in reality we found accommodation that was, in our opinion, in a completely unacceptable condition. When we arrived around 5:30 PM, there was no staff on site, which in itself would not have been a major issue for us. We had received a door code by email beforehand, and the room key had been left at the reception desk. The real problem was the condition of the room. At first glance, it looked as though it had not been properly cleaned for quite some time. There was dust and dead insects everywhere. Most concerning was the condition of the bed: between the mattresses we found residue that initially made us fear there could be signs of bed bugs. In addition, there were multiple stains, hairs, and a brown smeared substance whose origin was unclear. Under these circumstances, staying in the room was simply not an option for us. We repeatedly tried to contact the hotel by phone, but only reached voicemail every time. Since no one responded or offered any assistance, we had to find alternative accommodation ourselves at very short notice. Because Venice was almost fully booked at the time, this involved considerable stress and additional expense. In the end, we even had to cut our trip short and leave a day earlier than planned. The only positive aspect was that our booking was ultimately cancelled free of charge. Overall, however, this was a very disappointing experience and, in our view, nowhere near the standard the hotel claims to offer online.

The negative reviews about this place are true. It is far away from everything. Going to Venice and coming back is either inconvenient or very expensive, and often both. Avoid reserving this place for a special event with a large number of people. They cannot handle that because their setup (I mean everything the number of staff, the productivity of the kitchen etc) is configured for a low number of visitors. Large group overwhelms them very quickly.

The facility is absolutely beautiful. The service and quality is amazing. The breakfast was delicious. I booked the room for 2 nights but was only able to stay for one due to how far away from the Venice Airport it is. We waited 2 hours for the ferry to take us to Venice. So the location for us, was very inconvenient.
