We had a wonderful stay here. We utilized Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts and they recognized it and offered all benefits to the program. This hotel is genuinely spectacular. The property and staff are exactly what you would expect of a hotel of this caliber. They are part of the Leading Hotels of the World group and it shows. Breakfast is à la carte and has items that would suit any culture. If you asked I’m sure they could make you anything. The rooms are comfortable, finely decorated, and most importantly, air conditioned between 65f(18c)and 72f(22c). We visited during a heat wave and having a cooled room and hotel lobby was greatly appreciated. The hotel is centrally located to essentially every part of the city, and has a vaporetto (city boat-bus)stop that is about 2 minutes away. Even though it is close to the stop it is in a quiet area. It is nice to be able to come back to a peaceful and secluded spot at the end of the day. We highly recommend it if you are visiting Venice and are looking for a luxury stay.

The suites here are stunning… you feel as if you have been transported back in time. Elegance and luxury matched only by the exceptional customer service. Luana and her staff are so lovely, we cannot wait to return. The only way to truly appreciate Venice.
This place had the best service of any hotel or service related business I have interacted with. They preemptively help with things without you asking, they’re incredibly responsive, and they raised the bar for future stays at other hotels. The interior is gorgeous, the lobby feels palatial, the food is excellent, and I could not have imagined a more perfect place to spend the first leg of my honeymoon. Definitely worth the price. I would stay here again in a heart beat. It is also incredibly close to one of the boat transport stops here in Venice which makes it even more desirable to stay here. Special thanks to Giacomo and Andrea!
Absolutely unacceptable experience and a warning to anyone considering booking here. I reserved a 2-bedroom apartment in October 2025 for a July 4–6, 2026 stay and paid $3,120 total ($1,560 per night). Then, on July 1 — just 3 days before arrival — the hotel informed me by text that the apartment I had booked was suddenly “not available” because of an internal error on their end. Their solution? Downgrade me to a 1-bedroom apartment that is roughly 30 square meters smaller, has only one bedroom, a smaller bed, and clearly does not come close to what I paid for — while offering only €150 per night back. That is insulting. This was not a comparable replacement. It was a major downgrade in space, layout, comfort, and value, offered at the last minute when it would be extremely difficult to make alternative arrangements. To make matters worse, when I looked up pricing, the 1-bedroom apartment was renting for around €520 per night in August — which makes their proposed refund even more absurd relative to the value of the room they were trying to substitute. What is most concerning is the precedent this sets: you can book far in advance, pay a premium for a specific room type, and still be told 3 days before check-in that your room is no longer available because of the hotel’s own mistake. Then, instead of making it right, they offer a clearly inferior room and compensation that does not remotely reflect the downgrade or the inconvenience they caused. If you are booking this property for a special trip, for family, or because the room configuration actually matters, understand that your reservation may apparently mean very little if they decide they have made an “internal error.” And if that happens, don’t expect them to offer compensation that fairly reflects what you lost. I would never book here again, and I would strongly caution others before trusting this hotel with an important reservation.
This place is absolutely amazing! It’s incredibly luxurious and incredibly welcoming. The team is fantastic—refreshing, accommodating, and very helpful. I want to specifically mention Giacomo, the concierge. He’s an absolute lifesaver and can arrange anything you need. The offered trips are a bit pricey, but they’re definitely worth it. If you’re considering this place, it’s definitely worth checking out. This Hotel truly excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere, from the moment you arrive until you bid farewell ❤️
