Hosts were highly professional and generous in service. We came across a small problem with our reservation, but the hosts went above and beyond to correct the situation and ensure we were well accommodated. Thank you! Located in very convenient area around central plaza but just enough distance to give quiet and peace from the large tourist crowds.

We stayed at Palazzo San Lorenzo for 3 nights as a family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the very first moment, we were greeted by friendly, well-spoken receptionists who made us feel right at home. They also provide a lovely orientation guide upon arrival. Definitely take them up on the 6 PM taxi tour, it was a highlight of our trip! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. Breakfast had all the essentials you could ask for, freshly prepared and hassle-free. Now, the location: absolutely unbeatable. You can reach St. Mark's Square in under 10 minutes on foot, yet the hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet area, far from the overwhelming crowds and tourist chaos. Right outside, you'll find great restaurants, souvenir shops, and gelaterias. If you're looking for a luxurious yet great-value stay in a safe, peaceful, and family-friendly environment, Palazzo San Lorenzo is a must when in Venice. We can't wait to come back!

My stay at Palazzo San Lorenzo was excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Venice but still only a short walk from Piazza San Marco, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the city. The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a classic Venetian style. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend good restaurants or interesting places to visit. Breakfast was very good, with fresh products and great Italian coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Venice.

We mistakenly booked the hotel for the wrong date and contacted the property within two hours to explain the error and request a simple date change. We even offered to extend our stay to be flexible, especially since it is low season and many hotels have availability. Instead of helping resolve a straightforward mistake, the hotel refused any flexibility. When we suggested staying longer to make the change easier, the staff quoted us a price that was higher than the rate listed on Google, which was surprising. Ultimately, they canceled the reservation and kept the full payment. This was very disappointing and not the level of service or good-faith problem solving we expected.
