Such a great hotel. Stunning interior with rooms that make you feel luxe. Don't get me started on that steak tartare. All staff members were extremely knowledgeable, ready to help. I do have to say that one particular hotel employee that made our trip feel a little bit more homey. I believe his name was Massimillano. He was superb! The location is 10 out of 10. If you can have the mentality of it, it is a 20ish minute walk to the popular tourist spots. However, they give options for ferries. It is also extremely close to a ferry drop off/pick up station and a straight shot to the airport. And most importantly, two bridges down, there is a fun nightlife to grab a glass of wine or a bite to eat while staying away from the tourist noise. I would recommend this hotel.

I’m a little late writing this review, as we stayed here in July, but I really wanted to take the time to say how grateful I am that we chose NH Collection Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi for our first visit to Venice. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. You can feel the history and character of the building everywhere, while at the same time everything has been beautifully renovated and maintained. It has that genuine sense of grandeur that is very difficult to describe until you experience it. We were incredibly fortunate to be upgraded to the Presidential Suite, and I honestly have to say it was one of the most impressive hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. I have travelled quite a lot and stayed in many beautiful hotels, but this was something truly special. I’m extremely grateful to the hotel for giving us that experience. The beautiful private garden was another highlight. Having such a peaceful and beautiful garden in Venice feels incredibly unique and made the whole experience even more memorable. Everything about our stay was exceptional — the hotel, the atmosphere, the location and the hospitality. 10/10 and without question five stars from me. From the moment I arrived, the staff was kind and thoughtful. A special thank you to Sara F., Sara M. and the general manager for the particular attention they gave me throughout my stay. The location is perfect if you want to experience a quieter side of Venice while still being within walking distance of the city centre. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The complimentary experience at the glass factory in Murano was an absolute must-do and one of the highlights of my stay. A very special thank you to Emanuele for his warm welcome and genuine kindness it turned into a memorable souvenir from my time in Venice.

Great location in Venice. In the less touristy section so very relaxing at night. We were upgraded to a room in the lagoon side and it was very nice. The service here is impeccable. From porters to front desk to restaurant staff, everyone made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend eating at the restaurant. The tasting menu had some of the best bites we ate all trip!
