This is a well maintained and comfortable hotel in a tranquil part of Venice. What makes it a cut above are the reception staff. They are cheerful and extremely helpful and well informed. Matthieu helped us with so many things - from restaurant and gelato recommendations to ordering a water taxi when our pre booked one did not materialize. Highly recommend. (Perhaps if there's a match on at the Venezia FC stadium nearby the area could get very busy)
Overall, it’s quite convenient to get here: about a 40-minute ride taking Water Bus Line 2 and transferring to Line 6 from the parking lot, followed by a quick 3-minute walk from the dock to the hotel. The location is very peaceful and perfect for running or strolling, with far fewer tourists than in the city center. There are a few steps at the entrance—it would have been great if a bellhop was available to help carry our large suitcases up to the reception, especially since we were pretty exhausted after hours of driving and the boat ride. staff are all very friendly and recommend us how to tour and eat in the city
We loved our stay here! From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome. The staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay. Our room was exactly as described: spacious, with a beautiful bathroom, and everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We particularly loved the hotel's location in the quieter part of Venice. It was lovely to come back to a peaceful area after a day out, while the water taxi makes it very easy to reach the busier parts of the city and other places. The breakfast was very extensive, with something for everyone and the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, and the staff at the bar were lovely too.
We had a fabulous stay. The hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and rich in history as a former convent. Our room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our stay, especially the wonderful team at breakfast. We also want to highlight Ksenia at guest services, who was exceptionally kind and provided excellent recommendations,she is truly an asset to the hotel. Elena was also incredibly helpful, personally assisting us with our water taxi upon checkout. The location is perfect tucked away from the busy tourist crowds, yet still within a pleasant 15–20 minute walk to the city center. Returning to the hotel after a busy day of sightseeing felt like a true escape. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the beautiful gardens, which provided the perfect setting for a relaxing Aperol spritz.
We stayed here for 3 nights in April before heading out on our cruise, and we absolutely loved this hotel. It’s located just outside the main city center of Venice, which made it the perfect peaceful retreat. The 20-minute walk into the heart of the city is not only easy but incredibly beautiful—especially along the water. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, making it ideal for a restful night’s sleep. It’s also just a 2-minute walk to the Sant’Elena water taxi stop, which makes getting around Venice very convenient if you prefer not to walk. The hotel restaurant was wonderful, and the breakfast each morning was fantastic with a large variety of options to choose from. Our room was spacious by European standards, with tall ceilings, large windows, and a lovely view of the courtyard. The staff were warm, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quieter, more relaxed area while still being close to everything Venice has to offer.
