I would not even give this hotel one star. The rooms look outdated, as if they haven’t been renovated since the 1990s. There is no kettle or iron in the rooms, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The beds are old and make loud noises whenever you move, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. the walls are so thin that you can clearly hear conversations, and other noises from neighboring rooms. It is almost impossible to sleep peacefully. The breakfast experience was just as disappointing. Guests are separated into different breakfast rooms for no clear reason. One of the waitresses kept staring at us in a very rude and unwelcoming way while we were eating. One thing that truly shocked me was seeing a waitress shout at other guests because they wanted to take the leftover food from their own plate instead of wasting it. They simply didn’t want to throw away perfectly good food, but the waitress reacted very aggressively. It was extremely disrespectful and uncomfortable to witness. No guest should ever be treated that way. Overall, the hotel is outdated, noisy, uncomfortable, and the customer service is poor. I would definitely not recommend staying here, and I would never choose this hotel again.

What a fantastic stay in a business style comfortable hotel with a pool in the sunshine, great room and very tasty breakfasts with lots of variety....and a relatively short bus journey into Venice which is covered by the weekly travel pass for Maghera, Mestre and Venice trams, vaparettos etc! Really enjoyed our stay at Belstay!
We had a great stay at Belstay Venezia Mestre. The hotel is about a 30-minute walk from Mestre station, which we found perfectly fine. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were large, soft, and very comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned our room every day. We also enjoyed the tea and coffee provided in the room with the kettle. Just be aware that the drinks in the minibar are not free. The bathroom had everything we needed: shampoo, shower gel, cotton buds, plenty of towels, and more. The staff were always friendly and happy to recommend places to visit or eat. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it exceeded our expectations. There was a great selection of bread, pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, and much more. The pool was excellent, and the pool bar served delicious drinks. An Aperol Spritz was €8 (July 2026), and every drink came with a bowl of amazingly tasty chips. One tip: if you’re walking to the hotel without a car, don’t follow Google Maps from the front entrance—it may try to send you along the motorway. Instead, use the small green gate at the back and, if possible, use Apple Maps, which gave us a much better walking route. Greetings from Belgium! 🇧🇪
deeply disappointed with my stay at Belstay. The customer service is nonexistent. The staff, specifically the reception team, are arrogant, dismissive, and highly unprofessional in the way they communicate with guests. On top of the hostile attitude, the hotel goes as far as charging you for water. A 4-star hotel should understand basic hospitality, but the team here has no concept of it. Save your money and stay somewhere where guests are treated with respect.
We had a great stay at Belstay Hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and the perfect size for me, my sister, and my mom during our 3 day stay. The breakfast was also really good with plenty of options to choose from each morning. The staff were friendly, and the hotel made our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Italy in the future!
