Sebastian was an awesome tour guide. He gave great information while making it interesting and holding everyone’s attention. He also gave restaurant information for later and was able post tour if we had any questions

An excellent tour leader and driver. A perfect way to get from the cruise terminal to a Santiago hotel. Our driver was good about communicating with us when we were delayed being able to get off the ship.
Lots of nice little stops until you get to the street art and murals in Valpairaso. The sealions and pelicans at the port are great - but definitely pay attention to the dont get closer then 3m rule unless you want to be covered in sealion spit. The street art walk is good (if you are stopping in Santiago and its autumn bank on it being 6 or 7 degree C cooler so take a warm top to put on). A short wine tasting trip to finish was a nice way to end the day. Best bit of the trip was Ramses the guide who was awesome. Knowledgeable and funny. (Applause to for Dave the driver)
What am awesome day. Ramses our tour guide made the day from start ro finish amd David the driver. Ramses was the nicest, smiliest knowledgeable tour guide he was funny, sweet and nothing was too much trouble. He kept us entertained all dat with his knowledge amd facts and humour. The walking tour of Valpairaso was cool, enough tine everywhere including refreshments stops. Nice wine tasting to end the day. Fabulous time highly recommend
We had a great day being shown around beautiful Valparaiso by Pablo and David. It's a fantastic and much more interesting way to get from Valparaiso to Santiago than a straight transfer. Valparaiso itself is such a beautiful and scenic city, particularly the street artwork. Pablo was a great and knowledgeable guide, ably assisted by David who navigated the sometimes narrow streets with ease. Finished off with a wine tasting on the way back to Santiago, it was an ideal way in our case to fill in the post cruise day before our flight.
Had a great day with our tour guide Edu and Juan who drove us around all day. They were ready and waiting for us at the port as we disembarked. Really enjoyed walking around Valparaiso and Edu was very informative and gave us sometime to shop and we also stopped at a local restaurant for lunch. Great way to fill in time before heading to the airport.
Confusion on pick up time from Viator. They keep posting 7:30 am which required us to disembark the ship earlier than the normal procedure. The ship could only transport us to the terminal at 6:30 The travel company contacted by Viator did contact us with a pickup between 8:30 and 9, however it was too late to change our 6:30 debarking so we sat in an empty terminal until the tour pick up. Beware! After we started the tour, however, it was a very interesting and informative day in Valparaiso with a last stop at a beautiful winery before dropping off at the airport in Santiago. Our only issue was with Viator who was not in tune with their contracted tour company and continued to send us the incorrect information on start time.
What a nice way to end our cruise. Pickup was easy and we had a nice tour of the Valparaiso area and a wonderful lunch recommended by our guide. The trip to the winery was nice. The tasting was very short. Drop off at the airport and the airport hotels was easy. Overall well worth the time and money
Ramsés and Juan were wonderful! Rames as a tour guide was so passionate, informative and made the tour amazing. I highly recommend taking this tour if visiting Santiago or Valparaiso. It is a super packed day and you get to explore the city, have the best views of Valparaiso/Vina de Mar and a delicious lunch with a panoramic view of valpraiso. Most importantl, we felt safe and were able to explore and enjoy the cities!
Amazing tour with the best guide Ramses and the incredible driver Gaudi! I would recommend this tour to anybody wanting to explore chile whether solo or with someone.
Everything was fantastic, except the winery. The location was beautiful. The wine was bad & not served at the correct temperature. Loved seeing the architecture in Valparaiso! Nacho, our guide, & Rod, our driver did an excellent job!
Ramses was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide, the full days tour went by in a flash. He had booked us a fantastic restaurant in valparaiso for lunch and the wine tour on the way back to the hotel was excellent. A quick shout out for Isaq, our driver, a man of few words but some excellent safe driving throughout the day was much appreciated.
Nacho and driver Roberto were top notch. Nacho is funny and very nice. A lot of us were dealing with post cruise cough and cold symptoms. Nacho even went to get cough drops and cough medicine for one of our group. Who does that? I thought is was a very thoughtful gesture. Very kind man. I will definitely use Stamps Tours in the future. Very impressed.
Get ready to do a lot of walking with lots of stairs but we loved the experience. Esmeralda was so good and very patient with our group.
This tour was awesome and the tour guide was one of the best we have had. Her depth of knowledge was great and she worked hard the entire time to provide many details of the city and history of it. Her English was perfect and she had an infectious personality making the tour fun and interesting. The tour price was very reasonable also. She was a great communicator also before The tour with updates on pickup. Just make sure you have Whatsapp messenger on your phone. Also the driver was very good and safe.
Ramses and Robert were great. Ramsey was very knowledgeable and he set us up at 3 wineries and a delicious lunch at The Zinfandel. The wines were good and very reasonably priced. A very nice day. Robert was a very good driver.
The experience was amazing, we had an excellent driver Gaudi 👏 We also had Spectacular Tour Guide, Ramesses was so informative, kind, he made our tour incredible.
Esme was our tour guide, and she and the driver (Juan Carlos?) did an excellent job! She met us at the cruise terminal to start the tour. Esme was knowledgeable, energetic and friendly and provided us with a very informative tour of Valparaiso, including taking us to a restaurant with a nice view for lunch. The stop at a winery in the Casablanca valley included a tasting of a white and red wine, and was very enjoyable. The tour ended with our transport to our hotel in Santiago. This was an excellent way to efficiently combine transport from the cruise terminal in Valparaiso with a tour of the city and visit to a winery. It was exactly what I was looking for and I highly recommend it. Well worth the cost!
Amazing time with Nacho and Juan Carlos. Nacho the guide really makes the trip come alive. Has amazing knowledge to share, plenty of jokes to keep the mood up and is a genuinely nice guy. Would go with him again!
A very interesting tour delivered by an informative and friendly guide, Nacho. Nacho and our driver, JC, were understanding and accommodating of our delay in joining the tour due to issues beyond our control in getting off our cruise ship. What started as a stressful day ended very positively as Nacho took us on a walking tour of the street art of inner Valparaiso. He told us about the street artists and explained the background to their work. We also had an enjoyable visit to a winery where we took pleasure in sampling their products. Nacho responded very well to the various questions posed by the members of our group. Importantly he made sure we had fun and JC ensured our sale travel.
Same and Rodrigo were fantastic. Esmae’s English was great and she was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our trip after our cruise.
Esmerelda and Rodrigo were the best. Esme contacted us the night before and gave us good info on weather, dress, time and place of pickup. She was right on time. Took us to all the spots listed on the itinerary and more. Recommended a great place for lunch, the winery was beautiful. My only comment is that the toor was listed as 8 hrs starting at 7:30. Since our pickup wasn’t until 9:30 I ‘assumed’ we would only be out for 6 hours, so we were a little tight on our flight connection that evening, but all was good. Rodrigo stayed with the van at all times so we did not have to worry about our luggage as we were walking. If you are coming off a cruise and have the day to spend before an evening flight this is definitely the way to go. Or if you just want a great tour of Valparaiso and vino Del Mar.
We had a fabulous time walking around Valparaiso, stopping in Vina del Mar and early afternoon spent at a Cassablanca winery. From the time he collected us from the Port until the time he helped us at drop off he was witty, informative, polite, patient and inclusive. He made the sites come alive, got the group of 9 moving along yet able to stop for that extra shot or trinket. Oscar our minibus driver was masterful in the traffic and the bus was a good size. The decisions for the routes chosen worked really well for the day taking into account safety and opportunity.
Visiting areas not visited by bigger operators thus get the flavour of Valparaiso. Tour guide knew her stuff.
Wonderful day tour to Valpairiso, Vina del Mar, and a winery. Mat is a fun, kind, and informative guide, and Roberto was a great driver. The day was well planned with sufficient time to see attractions and have a nice lunch. If you're going to be in Santiago, I highly recommend taking this tour.
Our guide Esmeralda and driver Oscar are very professional and caring, we had a wonderful day trip to several popular destinations, Valparaiso and Coquimbo, the amazing wall murals in Conception hill and happy hill, we had a nice lunch at a seafood restaurant with view, the tour ends with drop off to airport or hotel, I strongly recommend it
I read some of the reviews before choosing but I try to keep an open mind when reading them. Oh no, they were correct. I don’t mean don’t go to Valparaiso, just choose your tour company wisely. We were picked up a half hour late due to traffic (he should know) in a fairly dirty car. Daniel spoke English, but it was sometimes hard to understand. The commentaries were brief and not very informative. It’s true the “wine tasting” was a grocery store type place! (Photo added) And there were no snacks whatsoever. In fact, we did not eat the entire day. Most of the sites were drive bys for pics and thats all. Maybe we should have asked but I feel its the tour operator’s responsibility to ask and find out what the customer would like and what we have time for. He kind of asked if we wanted a coffee and I said well it’s 12:20, I think it’s wine time (hint hint). Nope, we just kept on walking and got back in the car. The 2 highlights were the walk by the beach and the Moai statue. We returned to our hotel by 2:45. That’s a 5 hour tour, not even close to 10 as the description said! I never write bad reviews, but this one needed to be done. Waste of $$
The most amazing day touring the coast from a local perspective! The host was knowledgeable and gave insights we otherwise would have never gotten on our own. The lunch location was fantastic and the wine tasting breathtaking. Highly recommend!
What a nice day- our guide was super knowledgable and friendly and was originally from the area making it both a personal and educational experience. The funicular was a great addition and the lunch spot chosen was both scenic and appetizing. In truth, this is a trip that could be done by oneself fairly easily and for much cheaper vs. booking a tour. Having said that, if you want a tour, this is the one to book. They are professional, smart and reliable.
This is a very good tour, Franchesca, the tour guide was very knowlegable and spoke excellent english and Hector was a skilled and careful driver. I would make two suggestions - the tour notes should contain information about walking the many steps and steep roads, and the restaurant chosen for the group was good but could be better and would be more convienet if close to the many shops in the town.
Very nice and friendly guide, Ramsi who told in a fun and informative way about the sights, which we have seen during our day trip. Also the food was very tasty and affordable. Would recommend it to anyone!
I recommend to those who like historic places and who know a little about the history and geography of Chile, and of course can see a little of the Pacific Ocean, wear comfortable shoes. What I didn't like, I'd like to have visited Pablo Neruda's museum house, I think the tour could have included.
