Really enjoyed this excursion as an alternative to the cruise ship shore excursion. We were a small group of four with our guide Vincent. We were able to personalize the trip with options to insure we saw the places of interest and made it back to our cruise ship without stressing about being late. Vincent was personable and very knowledgeable. All in all a very enjoyable day.

An easy 5/5. Private tour. Exposure to the whole coastal region with history, context, humour, and some passion for the subject matter. Saw and got a preliminary understanding of things that we would have either simply walked past and been none the wiser, or not gone to in the first place. Really good. Highly recommend.

Vincent was great. Told us a lot about the history of Vina Del Mar, Valparaiso, and several other locations. The beaches are magnificent. We stayed at the Sheraton Miramar and he arrived very punctual at the time communicated to us. We highly recommend him.

We had a wonderful visit of isla Negra and of Pablo Neruda’s home museum . We were picked up in SSN Antonio by Vincent and he took us to many dites doing the way including a marvellous lunch in Quintay. The second day included a detailed visit of Viña del mar and of Cocon as well as a tour of Valparaiso . The 3rd day Vincent took us to a great vineyard on our way to the airport in Santiago where we experienced a fantastic tour with the sommelier and an outstanding culinary lunch wine pairing. During the tour each day Vincent displayed knowledge of the region , interest in his guests and a wonderful attitude letting us enjoy the moments on our own at times in a discreet and careful manner We highly recommend this tour and tour guide it was so pleasurable and fantastic !

Vincent was a terrific guide: very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and a good communicator. He had excellent English with a slight French accent. He also speaks Spanish and French. We spent 7 1/2 hours with him and learned a great deal about both cities and their history, as well as current information and interesting stories about the area. We really enjoyed spending the day with him and would highly recommend him.

Vincent was very knowledgeable about the region and provided an excellent tour for my family. This tour is the best way to experience all areas of Valparaiso, Viña, Concòn all in one day. We brought kids along (10 and 12) and he added some kid-friendly activities that they enjoyed. It’s not a tour that goes deep into historical detail, which was ok for our family group. We covered a lot of ground and make sure you ask to visit the fish market. It is a unique and genuine local experience!

Vincent was extremely informative and thorough in describing Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar with his Normandy French accent! We marveled at the World Heritage sites and were very excited to get three separate rides to the hills on some of the few regaining 19th Century funiculars. And his recommendation for lunch was outstanding! Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a wonderful private tour with Vincent in both Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso. Vincent was on time and guided us through the two coastal towns. He was sensitive to the fact that we had cold cloudy weather, that there had been some flooding the day before, and seamlessly navigated the narrowest of streets in his comfortable car. He also asked what we had already seen (we had done a two hour tour the day before of one particular area inValparaiso) and made sure not to repeat anything and take us to additional places we might not otherwise see. For us it was a perfect tour. He took us to important places, as well as places with beautiful vistas, and even helped me finding a cup of decaffeinated coffee (not an easy task). One of the highlights of the trip was being taken to the fishmarket. He realized we had an interest, and it was amazing to be taken into that commercial section with row after row of fish that had just been caught that morning. The fisherman who caught the fish were selling their catches. In fact, when we had a tour in Santiago, the tour agent we had was from Valparaiso, and when he found out that we saw the fish market, commented it was one of his favorite places. We saw places also a political interest to historical interest and learned more history about the city. It was a full day, Rich in getting to know both areas and seeing the sights. The place he stopped for lunch was one that had interested me, and absolutely delivered on a delicious lunch. Vincent is also fluent in English, Spanish and French. I’m not sure about what other languages. It was easy to understand. I highly recommend this tour if a private tour is within your budget.

Vincent was AWESOME!! He catered to our specific needs as we were traveling with a wide range of ages and abilities. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Driver was great as well. Spent the entire day with us taking us all over and added some stops not on the list, which we loved. Would HIGHLY Recommend.

Vincent., the driver and guide was in contact throughout, and met me at port of Valparaiso for pickup. Took me on a tour with flexible arrangements for seeing only what interests me. His English was also very good and he showed me everything. Visit to Vina del Mar and Renata were nice. I would recommend the tour to anyone who has time before their flight. I actually had arranged with him to drop me off at my hotel in Santiago for an extra fee. Worked very well. Thank you Vincent.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide Vincent had a very quick response time to any questions. He shared WhatsApp contact information which made contact easy. Vincent had a change a few days before our tour but sent us contact info as well as a picture of our new guide Thomas. This change was no big deal as Thomas was an excellent guide. He contacted us the day prior via what’s app and made it easy to meet with him at our scheduled time. We had arrived in Valparaiso the day prior and had already checked out the old town of Valparaiso. Thomas very willingly changed our itinerary so we didn't repeat something we had already seen. His English is flawless and he is very knowledgable about local history and had interesting stories to share. I would highly recommend this tour. Vincent and Thomas handled the entire experience professionally. Thomas was very mindful as to our return time for the ship which we appreciated. We never had a concern about missing the ship. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour was first rate from before they day began. Our guide was to be Vincent but he informed us well in advance that his colleague Thomas would be our guide for the day.He also shared a picture of Thomas as well as his contact information. Thomas contacted us prior to our tour and explained exactly where to meet. He was on time and willing to customize our tour with a last minute change. We had arrived the day prior and done a tour of old town Valparaiso so Thomas made changes so we didn’t repeat sights we had already seen. He made arrangements for us to eat at an amazing winery and visit a local fish market so we could see the local culture in a unique shopping environment as well as view the sea lions. Amazing!! It was truly like spending a day with a friend who wanted to show you his city. Thomas is from France and speaks English flawlessly and with a lovely accent. His vehicle was clean and very comfortable. Thomas was very knowledgable about local history and shared interesting art sculptures as well as distinctive flora. We had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend this tour!!!

Vincent is an amazing tour guide! I highly recommend him and this tour. The coast is so beautiful and winding through the hills of Valparaiso was so incredible. Vincent did a great job of customizing the itinerary towards my interests and adding in a few great surprises! 10/10!

Wonderful discovery tour of Valparaiso with Vincent. History, unique view point, off the tracks pathes, we felt the Spirit off this magnetic and incredible city. And cherry on the cake we made our own street art with Juan, a genuine Chilian artist. Amazing day !

The tour was amazing. Vincent knows the region like no one else: he always had an interesting fact, a good story or the perfect place for the photo. It was very friendly, warm and attentive, which made us feel comfortable from the start. A huge plus is that this is one of the few tours that does not leave from Santiago, and believe me, it was difficult to find. That made it much more comfortable and practical. Thanks to him we visited the must-see places, but also hidden corners that alone we would not have found. A perfect blend of culture, unique views and good vibes. I totally recommend it!

A top guide that I spotted in one of my favorite shows on France5 "Escape Beautiful" destination Chile obviously before coming to visit with family;-). Vincent is cool, while having very good knowledge of history and places. Places not necessarily hyper known to emblematic guides such as the Routard (very well otherwise). He knows how to address both children and parents (who are only big children after all;-)). I recommend this guide who became Franco-Chilean for love and who transmits it precisely;-). My wife and I hired Vincent for a private day tour to discover Valparaiso. Vincent takes you on a very personalized tour. We benefited from a walk in contrast to these group visits during which the comments are typically delivered mechanically, leaving little room for improvisation and departures from the beaten track. On the contrary, we lived a peaceful stroll in the streets at random of our mood and desires of the moment, punctuated by lots of Vincent's anecdotes about local life and its history. Quite simply, a very good time in Valparaiso, thanks to Vincent.

We spent a day with Vincent, an exceptional guide, with whom we felt immediately family. We visited Valparaiso, a colorful and exotic city as well as Vina del mar and its surroundings. Vincent was able to introduce us to these places in a relaxed way by taking us to the key points of this region with a few touches off the beaten track. He was able to adapt to our own pace and interests. He has a perfect grasp of his subject and always provides a relevant answer to our questions. And what a place chosen for lunch!!! A treat! We were on a cruise and had a 2-day stopover in Valparaiso so we asked Vincent to organize the first day around the discovery of Vina Del Mar and Valparaiso and for the second day to organize a visit to 2 vineyards in the Casablanca valley. The booking process was very smooth and Vincent described his proposal to us very well and contacts were easy. Then the 2 days went remarkably well Vincent was very attentive to our expectations and always tried to ensure that we had excellent days. His knowledge of the subject, his organization, ... everything was perfect. For the visit to the Villard vineyard the setting is remarkable, the history beautiful, the wines very good and in addition we would like to point out the presence of a Chilean woman who showed us her vineyard and who spoke perfect French which made the moment even more more exceptional. For lunches (which were not part of his service he chose typical, pleasant and affordable) For your visits to the Valparaiso region we recommend Vincent. He can also organize other visits to different cities in Chile (useful for cruise passengers...) but here we don't have not tested this part of his performance. Noella & Michel
