Salah was a great tour guide! He got us in places before the lines were long or knew the shortcuts to beat the rush of noteworthy sites. He explained the history of Malta as we approached each city. And he provided water and an umbrella when he thought it would rain. We didn’t think we would see much of Malta except for Valleta, but we saw the fish market which is only open on sundays, the blue grotto, old town Mdina, Rabat, visited the crypts, and lastly saw the Mosta Rotunda - gorgeous. Thank you again Salah!

Salad was very accommodating and made suggestions for us. We enjoyed the information he provided. The pick and drop off were good and he dropped us off at the movie. He had a printed document explaining each location.

We had a wonderful private tour all over Malta with our driver Salah Said. We were probably overly ambitious with all the things we wanted to see in the time frame we had, but Mr. Said was efficient, courteous, thoughtful, and attentive to our needs and desires. He is a true professional and we were fortunate to have him as our driver.

The 4 hour tour with Salah took us to major sites like Mosta, Mdina, Rabat, Blue Grotto and more. He was flexible and offered various options. We did not stay long at any site, but had the option if we desired. Would highly recommend this tour!

My wife & I enjoyed our tour of Malta. Our Driver/Guide, Sahlia, was very accommodating and he made the adjustments necessary to meet our requests. He was always right on time at each of the pickup locations.

Good tour if you want a taste of Malta. We spend 3 hours in private car going to different destinations in Malta. It’s all customization which is great but is a little rushed, too much to see even though Malta is small

Frances Gauci arranged a wonder private driver for the four of us to see the southern portion of the island. We only had an afternoon available because of our schedule aboard Explora. Our driver showed the old town section of Valletta noting the gardens and the excellent harbor view point for pictures. Then off we went to see the colorful Fishing boats of the cute town Marsalis (sp) with time to walk the shopping stands along the promenade. The to the incredible Blue Grotto where we had time to take the small boat tour to see the intensely blue waters and the colorful rock caves. We still had time to explore the 5000 year Neolithic archaeological site Hagar Qim. These were all accompanied by very knowledgeable driver explaining life on Malta, Gozo and Comino. The driver made this short visit to Malta a perfect shore excursion with our limited available time. Use this provider with confidence!

Our driver Salah, who we had seen online previously had high marks, was most accommodating and met us at time at the cruise terminal. He customized our tour within our designated time constraint and was very knowledgeable of the island and its historical locations. Malta is quire barren and is being rapidly developed but there are still many sites worth of a visit.

Amazing fun filled packed 3 hours. Our driver / tour guide was very kind and friendly. Pick up location from the cruise port was super easy. We visited the Blue Grotto, saw a Maltese Falcon, spent over an hour at Hagar Quim megalithic temples which were fascinating and finally a quick 40 ish minute to visit the medieval town of Mdina, just a stunning walled city especially for GOT fans. Highly recommend this private tour when trying to squeeze in lots of sites in a short time.

This tour was exactly what we were looking for as we only wanted to see Mdina & swim at the Blue Grotto. Our driver picked us up at the meeting point promptly and was accommodating to our requests. He was informative, friendly and personable. This tour was definitely an easier option than taking a taxi or bus as our time was limited and we needed to be back to our cruise ship at a certain time.

Salah took us around the island, waited for us during all our stops and provided water and an umbrella for shade. He was knowledgeable and gave us great insight about the islands past and present.

Really enjoyed our visit to Malta. Our guide was wonderful and we spent a fabulous day in Malta. Love being able to only see what we are interested in and on our timetable without being rushed or waiting around for others. Don't hesitate to book - this was a very good tour and a great way to see the island.

Great communication, so pick up from the cruise terminal was stress free. Driver was incredibly nice and thoughtful as we had my mobility challenged mother with us and he took care in assisting her. The car was roomy. He was very flexible in accommodating our interests. Highly recommend.

very nice driver, good organised tour, a great experience. we wanted to go to the cliff, but since I alreay felt cold (strong wind on that day), the driver brought us to a beautyful garden instead and my mom really like that lovely place.

Our guide went way above and beyond to make our tour amazing! He listened to our wish list, gave his professional advice, and helped us determine our best options. We did the 3 hour tour and he gave us literally the max experience for such a short time frame. We were scheduled to fly out after the tour and he even went so far as to drop us off at the airport at the end of the tour. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m not sure what the complaints are on this tour, it was awesome. Saleh picked us up very promptly right where they said they would. Tour was completely customizable. Price includes up to 3 hours and you pick where you go and what you do. If you go over 3 hours, you pay a very reasonable charge for each hour over 3. We went to the cliffs, the blue grotto (which was amazing), the temples and a city tour of Valletta. We spent a total of 3 hours. Sakeh was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Wouldn’t hesitate to pick this tour. .

Excellent experience flexible as much as you want and in the depth of detail you request. I can’t recommend enough. We wanted to see a few sights from north and south so itinerary flexible to allow us to do so

We didn't really know what to expect from Malta and were totally thrilled with Salah, our tour guide, in terms of making sure we got a really good overview of this island nation. After asking us about what we prefer to visit, he put together a customized tour "on the fly." And we could not have been happier. We saw the Marsaxlokk (the old fishing village with picturesque luzzus -- traditional boats), the Magar Qim monolithic temples, the Argotti botanic garden, the Blue Grotto caves overlook, the Rabat (walled old city), and more. Plus Salah picked up some traditional pastries and local "herbal" soft drink (Kinnie). Salah made this island come alive for us and we could easily see ourselves coming back to spend 3+ days here in the future. Besides the beautiful fortifications and history, Malta has some lovely beaches. Our tour was both time and money well spent!! We highly recommend it.

It felt like a scam, because the advertised info about tour itinerary is grossly misleading. 1) The tour info on Viator clearly lists a full itinerary for the tour. In reality, the customer had to choose either north or south tour. So the published itinerary is simply wrong. 2) The actual tour didn't even consist of half the itinerary chosen by me (the south tour). In reality, the driver simply declared after 3 hours that our time was up. And if we wanted to continue the tour we had to pay extra money in cash to him (30€/h). It turned out that the service was time-sensitive and NOT following the tour itinerary at all. All in all, it was a bad experience and I would not recommend using this service.

We were picked up in air conditioned car, very kind. We went to the Barakka gardens and catacombs. When we got in the he had cold water for us and fruit, so unexpected but we definitely enjoyed! Before going to the airport we had an hour and our driver took us to the blue grottos and arranged for us to go on the ride asap so we weren’t late! It was exceptionally pleasant, thank you!! Highly recommend your service and we look forward to seeing you in Malta again hopefully with our friends!!

We were so happy with this private tour! Our guide Sallah was absolutely fantastic and provided knowledgeable suggestions while giving us full flexibility for the itinerary. We saw much more than we expected to be able to fit in, and we were able to add an extra hour on short notice. One of the highlights of the tour was when Sallah brought us a typical Maltan snack - pastizzi, which is filo pastry with a savory filling, and a cold drink called Kinnie. Yum!

This tour was a great deal for the 2 of us. We were able to choose which things we wanted to do, and how long we wanted to spend at each place. Salah was very accommodating and patient. I would book this tour again if I come back to Malta.

I took the north tour which was provided by Salah (not sure of the spelling). He was very flexible in the timing at each stop as well as with the overall itinerary when I wanted to skip a specific stop and instead go to a small market on the way back to the hotel so I could stock up on some things. Nice tour. Really enjoyed Mdina and the Dingli Cliffs.

Excellent private tour if you have a couple of hours to get a taste of what Malta has to offer. You can taylor the tour to your interests which was exactly what we wanted. Prompt pick up and a totally bespoke tour for us. Salah, our guide, was courteous and knowledgeable and a pleasure. Wonderful morning seeing all that we wanted and dropped off at the airport afterwards! Thoroughly recommend !

We were picked up at our hotel on time. Water was provided for both of us (it was a HOT day). Our guide explained the sites and worked with us to pick the ones that were the most interesting to us. While we were in the sites exploring, our driver would surprise us with samples of the local foods when we got back to the car. Excellent experience!

It was a beautiful day because the driver Salah knew how to feel comfortable. We saw the Blue Grotto, Hagar Qim, Mdina, Dingli Cliffs, San Antonio Gardens. In addition, he offered us cold water, a traditional orange juice and chicken pie, cheese pie and pea pie. Because he was late due to an email received late from Trip Advisor, the driver offered us an hour and half in addition to the 3 hours we had bought. I also recommend this tour and the driver Salah.

I was ready to write Malta off. When I found myself looking on line for some way to discover the secrets of this beautiful country. I took a gamble and booked a private tour. SAL was my tour guide. I could not have asked for more. I booked TWO days in a row and I now can't wait to come back with family! He made this trip worth it! From dining recommendations, hot spots to the treasure spots he knows it all. Ps. I'm a designer from Chicago and he even took me to a local fabric store! Again, you won't find better.

We booked a 3 hour tour initially to the north of Malta, however extended the trip by another hour to see a couple of places in the south. Salah was our guide who took us around the places and he was very polite. There was an itinerary of north v/s south to choose from but he gave us complete flexibility to choose the places we were interested in visiting. We were not rushed to move from one place to the other and this really made the tour so peaceful. I would recommend to go for the 8 hour trip if you have time. In the 4 hour trip we covered San Anton gardens, Mdina, Blue Grotto (incl boat trip), Dingli cliffs and Hagar Qim temples.

I booked a short tour with pick up just after arrival at the Malta airport just one day in advance. Was a bit worried that it was too short notice, but Frances met me with a sign. The tour was very interesting and Frances patiently answered all my questions. He also gave me advice on how to get around, restaurants, museums and lots of other stuff. Great value for money!

In three hours, we visited three fourth of the island in no rush! You wouldn't be able to finish so many sites without the help of this private tour! Highly recommended!

Salah was our professional tour guide. We were three persons. He met us with a sign with my name on it at the cruise port. He took us all over and dropped us off and picked us up real close to each site visited and this was amazing since 2 of us have a hard time walking. He opened the door for each of us all the time. Overall this tour was great and the guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Our cruise ship docked in an unusual location, so it took us over an hour to locate the guide He was there on time, waiting for us, but it was a confusing situation and I would recommend carrying a phone so you can communicate with the guide. I would also suggest travelers begin their tour in Mdina, which is amazing and will require some time to enjoy it. We spent time touring other areas first and we we rushed at Mdina, which was sad, because it ended up being our favorite place. The transportation for this tour was a car, not a van, and although they say they can take 4 passengers it was a tight fit. I would recommend no more than 3 passengers.
