We had such a lovely day with Joseph from start to finish. He was punctual, polite, and great fun to be around. We had a list of places we wanted to see, and he made sure we got to all of them. There was plenty of time to look around and enjoy everything at our own pace. Joseph did much more than drive us around. He told us about how local people live, which we’d never have learned just by visiting as tourists. He was very professional, and the vehicle was comfortable too. If we come back to Malta, we’ll definitely book him again. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of spending the day with Joseph as our guide. Since we were meeting a group for a pilgrimage, Joseph was happy to accommodate and adjust our plans for the day so we visited only places we would not be visiting later with our group. It was an amazing day. We visited places we never would have been able to see on our own. We never were caught in traffic, or waited in a line. Joseph knew everyone at each stop we made. We also appreciated his stories about Malta as well as understanding Maltese culture. Our comfort and enjoyment were his only concerns for the day, and we felt safe and secure as he maneuvered the streets of Malta. Our only regret was not getting a picture with Joseph and the day seemed to pass far too quickly. Thank you Joseph for making our first day exploring Malta so wonderful and complete!

He was very flexible, we were able to personalize our tour spending more time in certain areas and less time in others and skipping some which did not appeal to us. We had a wonderful and leisurely lunch at Joseph's suggestion and most importantly, Joseph knows who the boss is! ;) I would highly recommend Joseph if you're looking for someone who deeply loves their job and combines that enthusiasm with high expertise!

Joseph took us to all the places of interest on the schedule and gave background info as we drove. The Blue Grotto was so congested though that we only had time for a quick photo stop. Stopped for lunch at Marsaxlokk at Unico restaurant . Lovely food.

To top it all off, he guided us to a phenomenal local restaurant for lunch. As someone visiting from the Pacific Northwest in the United States, I have high standards for seafood, but the seafood platter Joseph recommended was easily one of the best I have ever had! Joseph is a true wealth of knowledge on all things Malta. There is absolutely no way we could have seen or enjoyed as much as we did without his expertise, local connections, and vibrant personality. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

A very personal tour of Malta, with Joseph in his luxury car. Joseph showed us many of the beautiful & interesting sights of Malta. His knowledge of Malta was exceptional. We were never rushed, he allowed plenty of time at different sites. Our comfort was always a priority. We were able to adjust the schedule to include sites we found after the schedule was planned. A thoroughly enjoyable day, made memorable by Joseph's knowledge and warm demeanor making us feel comfortable.

We enjoyed very much our time with Joseph. He took very good care of us. He was very thoughtful and he would accommodate our needs - particularly that of a 91-year-old passenger. Plus, he had a sense of humor.

High quality service and itenary. Our driver Joseph took very good care of us. We heard lot about history, traditions and everyday’s life in Malta during our trip. Visit of Mdina Glass factory was one of the highlights of the tour! We took this tour in the beginning of our holiday, it was good start and gave us nice overview of the island. Good alternative if you don’t want to rent a car and try out left-hand driving in narrow streets by yourself.

We spent a great day exploring Malta with Joseph today. We feel we saw the majority of the island and visited the sites we really wanted to visit. With a private vehicle tour there was no waiting for everyone else to get back to a bus and we got to see the locations we wanted to see, not limited to where a tour bus goes. After a bit of a rough start due to our inability to get in touch with the tour company to advise them of a delay as a result of poor WiFi connection from the ship, we were finally able to connect with our driver/guide, Joseph who patiently waited for us to disembark. Joseph was a fantastic driver and guide. He allowed us to enjoy as much of Malta as possible during the time we had. Malta was amazing. We would totally go back!

Our tour guide was Peter Caruana, and tour operator was Joseph. Fantastic experience. Immaculate MB van, strong AC, and some perks like bottled water and umbrellas. Itinerary is flexible even if we gave Peter the liberty to suggest points of interest. We basically toured the entire island except the fishing villages, since it started to rain. We were able to avoid any tour bus crowd, and we were able to eat some hand peeled prickly pear. Malta is beautiful and you have to experience it without the crowds. Peter is very passionate about the history of the islands and as a bonus he showed us all the Hollywood sets for films made in Malta. 5 stars all around. Make sure you tip generously, as these guys go above and beyond normal expectations.

Our tour guide was outstanding with his knowledge of the many important places we visited during this day trip around the entire island of Malta. We stopped in several of the sites and were allowed to stay as long as we wanted or to opt out of staying long. Joseph knew the history of the island and reviewed the time periods of the various countries claiming control of the island. Joseph also knew many locals and was able to guide us with expertise through churches, neighborhoods, shopping areas, and eating establishments, in addition to the various viewing points of interest for photo opportunities and appreciation of the surrounding ocean and communities. He treated us with respect and and kindness, and was happy to answer our direct inquiries. I highly recommend this Viator tour to all tourists new to the island of Malta. It would be worth our time to take the same tour again, as there is so much to see and enjoy, along with the enjoyment of many locals that Joseph was familiar with.

What an amazing day, couldn’t have imagined a better way to travel around to see the island. We messaged Joseph beforehand to request specific places to visit which he managed to include within the day. At the ta qali crafts village he arrange for a small glass workshop demonstration which was amazing to watch first hand. He was so kind and knowledgeable, provided us with plenty of water throughout the tour and gave us recommendations on were to go during stops. Would recommend this tour instead of a big coach tour as this feels a lot more personal and made to what you want to do.

We arrived at the Malta port at the end of a cruise at 8:00am. Joseph met us and took us (and our luggage) on a 6 hour tour of Malta, including a stop for lunch. He dropped us off at our hotel at 2pm. This worked out well to avoid “wasted time” waiting for our room to be available. Joseph was very informative and took us to all of the main sights on Malta. Highly recommended!

Excellent way to see the island. Six hours or so to see several sites. Joseph has a route planned but this can be adjusted. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Much better (and probably cheaper) for two people compared with cruise line coach tours

Joseph was on time and offered a great deal of information about Malta and the sites and neighborhoods we were visiting. He included several stops where we witnessed a glass blowing and stop for a wonderful lunch by the sea. The car was clean and comfortable and his driving skills were excellent. We would highly recommend joseph as an alternative to being crammed on a tour bus. The trip was customized to our interest in needs.

Great experience from start to finish. We booked a five hour tour slot with Joseph. He arrived well on time at our chosen pick up point, communication great from booking to pick up (his, not on mine as signal was rubbish!). Joseph is a very knowledgeable guide, friendly and approachable. We went to Mosta Church and air raid shelter Mdina glassmakers Mdina - Silent City The blue Grotto Dingli cliffs Marsaxlokk fishing village All within our time frame. Nothing felt rushed and the car itself was beautifully air conned (appreciated in the current 43 degree heat!). Overall a fabulous experience, very reasonable price for what you get and cannot recommend joseph enough :)

This was a great day with Joseph learning and seeing Malta. He knows all the locals and gets you top notch service and provides such great history in an air conditioned ride... especially when it's 100 degrees outside. Picked us up at the port and got us back in plenty of time! Overall great day!

Having been here for a week, this is the best way to discover Malta, Joseph our driver kept us informed and entertained throughout the tour, from our visits to Mosta dome "church of miracles" to Mdina "silent village" to the three cities that face eachother to our highlight which was the clear blue water and caves at the blue grotto 👌 highly recommend this tour

This was a great 4-5 hour tour outside of Valetta in a air conditioned car. Josef was spot on picking me up and knows a lot of history (and people in Malta)! Always running into a buddy of his. We particularly enjoyed swimming at the stunning Blue Lagoon! Much hyped, but it definitely lived up to its reputation, the water was so clear and the most beautiful blue colour! We genuinely appreciated travelling in Joseph’s lovely car, in air-conditioned comfort, as the weather was very hot. It was a fun and entertaining two days, and we really enjoyed our beautiful lunches at the two restaurants Joseph recommended. Just fantastic!!!
