Darren was amazing, from when we booked, to when we finished, he was attentive and helpful at every stage, helping to choose the places that suited us and giving us a little history lesson at every place we stopped. I would personally recommend using Darren’s services. Had a really jam packed day and will definitely use him again when we visit Malta in the future. A+ 5 Star service. It was very flexible and that’s what we loved about it. Darren was great. We customized our itinerary and stayed a little extra here and a little extra there but Darren never rushed us, he was very patient.

Outstanding all day tour; definitely worth it to get the highlights of Valletta and surrounding area! The tour was made even more amazing because of our driver, Darren. He took us to Marsaxlakk, the Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs, the temple ruins, Mdina, just to name a few. Darren explained the sites as we went along and gave us a local's perspective, which was very helpful. If you want a fantastic overview of Malta, definitely book!

So many special moments were within the confines of Darren’s clean mobile office—the car—as he shared personal stories of growing up Maltese and now raising his beautiful family. A proper review could not leave out the delicious pastizzi stop-and the extra special neighborhood bench we got to share while indulging—making the most scrumptious mess! We had a wonderful day out with Darren. We didn’t really have a set itinerary in mind, he put together a great day out for our family on really short notice and we had the best time seeing the highlights of Malta, and he even took us to the beach and patiently waited while we swam in the sea. Darren is very flexible and will tailor the day as you wish. We highly recommend his services!

We had a fantastic day and saw some amazing sites. It was a very efficient way to see a lot in one day. Darren was a terrific guide and shared lots of knowledge about the places we went. The recommendation for lunch was first class too. Overall a great day and a good way to pack a lot into limited time.

Darren was absolutely amazing. He tailored out tour to suit our needs with my husband especially not able to walk too much. He was informative, respectful, friendly and helpful. He booked a waterfront restaurant to watch the fireworks which was already fully hooked and booked a horse carriage tour around mdina at very short notice which was superb

Darren was amazing. This was our first trip to Malta. We knew basic information about what we read online. Malta was on our bucket list. When we booked, he immediately reached out to us and got our input and interests. We like things off the beaten-path; try to avoid so many tourist traps. Darren designed the tour based on our input and his recommendations so we could maximize the time while not being overwhelmed. He took us all around Mdina, church’s, Rabat, Ghar Lisa’s and more. Darren coordinated the times so we wouldn’t have to wait. He picked us up right on time. Immediately, you fall in love with his personality- warming and inviting. Darren is knowledgeable and likes to get to know you and treats you like family. All his recommendations were spot-on. In fact we booked him again but this time for an impromptu tour of Gozo the next day

We booked Darren last minute while on a cruise, and it turned out to be one of our favorite days of the entire trip. From the very beginning, Darren was friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator. Having a private driver allowed us to see so much more of the island and go entirely at our own pace. It was the perfect way to experience Malta in a single day — you can spend as much or as little time as you like at each stop, or even change your plans mid-day. If you’re not sure what to see, just let Darren plan the itinerary for you — he knows all the best spots. Our first stop was the stunning Blue Grotto sea caves, followed by Ħaġar Qim, an ancient temple complex dating back to around 3400 BC. We also visited a local silversmith who specializes in traditional Maltese filigree — delicate jewelry crafted from twisted silver wire — and a glassmaking studio showcasing Malta’s famous hand-blown glass. The highlight of the day was exploring a city we hadn’t even heard of before: the ancient, walled city of Mdina. Founded in the 8th century BC, it still feels frozen in time, with only about 250 residents. Walking its narrow, quiet streets felt like stepping onto a medieval movie set — fitting, since parts of Game of Thrones were filmed there. We can’t recommend Darren enough. If you want to see the best of Malta iwith a local expert, this is absolutely the way to do it.

We had two great days with Darren! He is friendly & professional, and he helped us design a custom tour. From Valletta, he took us all over Gozo and Malta -- churches, archeological sites, swimming spots, small towns and villages. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Well worth the price, and we will definitely use him again next time we come to Malta.

We had booked with Darren a day before the trip and good thing we did! He responded quickly to confirm and ask for our interests to plan the route. Darren perfectly timed the trip so we could see as much on our list. He even took and treated us to the best pastizzi in Rabat! Darren even made a quick stop in Popeye’s village even if it wasn’t on our list so we can just see it. To top it all off, our daughter got her wish to swim in a sandy beach and had the pleasure to swim and play with his lovely daughter. It was one of the best trips we had in Malta with such lovely company. Book Darren and you’re guaranteed a good time!

Great tour of Malta! A perfect way to see the highlights of Malta in a single day. For us, it was a relaxed experience. From the Blue Grotto (wow! 💙) to the rugged Xaqqa Cliffs, wandering through the charming streets of Mdina 🏰, watching (and eating) fish in Marsaxlokk 🐟, and dipping our toes in the water at St. Peter’s Pool 🏝️.

The whole day was wonderful from start to finish. Our guide, Darren, was terrific. We were given the flexibility to stay longer at certain sites and less at others. If you really want to see most of Malta in one day Darren is the person to lead you!

We specifically asked to see places related to where our father would have been during the Battle of 1942 and the driver did research so he could take us to them. We also visited other places like Medina which was wonderful. Covered a lot of ground in a short time.

There is plenty to see and do however if you want to sail into the blue grotto lease with your driver and pre book a ticket to save time. I suggest you do this

I basically wanted to see all of Malta’s big tourist spots in one day, and both Darren & Clayton customized my day to do exactly that! I got to see everything I wanted to see (except the boat to Blue Grotto because of the weather), and Clayton very kindly took some great pictures for me! Wonderful experience and saved me a lot of time I would’ve spent on trains and buses. It was also nice getting to know the local culture by talking to Clayton who told me all about what life in Malta is like. Would highly recommend this tour!

The rain during first 2 days of visit cut short our outside time so decided to have a private tour that could be customised tour and a local taking you around. Darren was really fast in dealing with my queries and I booked. Clayton came on time and his number was shared by Darren so we could communicate easily. The car was comfortable. Clayton had good knowledge of local attractions and gave good advice when we discussed what to cover. He took to some places which were not on my list and I am glad we went there. Morning was chilly but it got warmer during the day. It was good to be able to leave jacket and stuff in the car. Clayton stayed closeby after dropping us and was back quickly when we texted. It was managed pretty well and this why I give 5 stars.

Easy to organize and communicate. This is not a tour but rather a private driver for the day (which is exactly what we wanted). We were two adults and were picked up directly from our hotel in a four door sedan. Weather was mild so no AC or heat needed. We were able to see so much in one day thanks to a private driver. The driver, Clayton, did an excellent job picking us up within just a couple minutes of me notifying him that we were ready to go to our next locale. Was a great way to see the sights we wanted to see without worrying about driving, parking, navigating, etc. Car was a bit older and driver a bit fast but was clean and we felt safe. Perfect day.

Darren was fantastic and catered the whole day to us specifically. He messaged as soon as he got the booking so he could arrange the perfect day. He was entertaining and made us laugh and was very knowledgeable. We have had the best day even in the pouring rain! It made it so less stressful knowing that we would do exactly what we wanted in our own timescale.
