The overall experience was great. I have never been on a quad before and the staff did an amazing job walking us through the process and making sure we understood. All the sites we saw were great. My only disappointment was the inability to make more stops to see things. I don't think this was their fault because we needed large areas for parking and that was not possible at the churches and other sights. But where we could stop we did. The boat and swimming portion was the perfect ending to a hot day.

It was once strictly guarded because of a type of funghi that was used as a medication and was highly desired.
The Inland Sea, sometimes called Qawra in Maltese and also known as Dwejra, is a lagoon of seawater in Gozo linked to the Mediterranean Sea through an opening formed by a narrow natural arch. A truly unique and must-visit location.

Great quad bike tour around Gozo. Our guides, Mark and Mario, were brilliant. Great guys and really knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
We went on the sunset quad tour of Gozo with the Blue Lagoon included. The boat stop at blue lagoon was 1.5 hr and was great to swim but could have been shorter. They can’t move on earlier so best to be prepared. The captain was friendly and informative. The quad bikes with Mark and Mario was the real highlight. A fun way to explore the island and Mark was enthusiastic about each stop and it’s significance to the history of the island.
We had a great time both on the boat and the quads! Thanks to Mario and Mark it felt safe and fun. We got to see way more than we otherwise would on public transport or using rideshare
Had a day tour with Dani and mark, fantastic experience, really informative and pleasant tour guides , made the day very enjoyable and would definitely recommend and/or come back again
Our guides Mark and Gunny were absolutely exceptional today. They were knowledgeable and full of amazing stories about Gozo. Honestly we had the best day ever. Absolutely 5 star rating.
Mark and Dani were really great! Mark took his time and explained places to us and was very professional throughout! Great experience
Mark and Gunni was amazing so knowledgeable of the land and history! If you can put in a request for them I’d highly recommend
Great full day out with Mark, Ahmed and Emilio. The quad biking took around 5 hours with lots of sight seeing. Would recommend as a good way to see some of the island.
Emilio, Mark and Ahmed were fantastic, easy to get along with and knowledgable. We had a great day, stopped at some great sights and saw the island in the best way imaginable. Would highly recommend and would do again. Gonna quad my way around many more places farted this excellent experience
The quad trip excellent, Ahmed, Mark and Emilio were very very friendly and professional a great day out.
Great fun Mark amilio and ahmed were awesome
The itinerary was different from what was provided. We did not see/stop at all the sites that we were supposed to. We were suppose to pass by the blue lagoon on the itinerary, but we stopped for 30 minutes and were told we could swim. We were not told this on the itinerary so we did not bring swim suits. The quad bikes are really beat up and rough. The guide was pretty good, but spent more time telling us about how much it will cost to repair the quad then actual tour details. The pick up shuttle is painful, the driver was over 30 minutes late and there are many stops depending on on how many people on the tour. After a long day we just wanted to get home so we opted to pay for an uber instead of the shuttle which probably would have been 1.5 hours to get home with all the stops. Overall we did see a lot and gozo is definitely worth seeing, but the tour could be more organized and it could be explained better in the itinerary.
Devin and captain Jerome are the best, made this experience!
A brilliant day out. As a solo it was a great tour to do as I met lots of different people. Pick up info was communicated clearly, even when the driver was running late I received text messages to advise. It had been a rough morning weather wise and I was hesitant about the boat ride but despite the choppy seas Joseph got us there all safe and sound if not a little wet 🙈 The quads took us all over Gozo stopping at the main points of interest with sufficient time at each point. I never felt any stop was too short or too long and a very cholled ride. Back onto the boat in thankfully calmer seas to the Blue lagoon for a swim and then a tour round the caves of Comino. The only slight criticism I have is the bit of chaos in trying to find the driver who was taking me back to my hotel when I got off the boat, but once I found him he got me home safe! Great tour would highly recommend
Joseph is too good, explained the caves and made swimming stops. while going to Gozo, it was very windy and there were elderly people in the boat, he was very kind to them, drove very slowly to make sure they are comfortable
Found this trip to be well run with a big team of people making sure people were going were they need to be. On the qaud the tour guide was really nice and the tour didn't feel rushed with enough time to look around. Nice added touch with a small tour of the Cave and swim at the lagoon with Joseph who was very friendly.
Lost of fun. We really had a nice day Nice crew
A fun day, small group which was good. Lunch not amazing! Final boat trip really good, Captain Jerome made sure everyone could see the sights
Very good experience from start to finish. They pick you up and drop-off to your hotel / nearby. Driving the quad bikes was very fun and seeing a few sights. I enjoyed the whole experience. I think the value for money was worth it.
Honestly this was the high light of our trip Chris the guid was amazing took us all around for hours was an all day adventure! I hope we can do this again when we come back because honestly was so so much fun
Amazing with camel, I love it good
Excellent staff all was clear as explained in the description super thankful for this experience
Great trip, brilliant guides. Quite a long day (7 hours on Gozo), lunch included however bring your own water for the rest of the day. Not much off roads, however still a great day & good value. Good equipment provided. Tip - have a passenger so one of you can take photos whilst going from place to place
I went twice: One trip was swimming at 2 stops (Crystal lagoon cave, blue lagoon) then Gozo quads with some stops, sunset at blue hole and supper at local restaurant with Maltese cheese, olives and pasta. Second trip was first Gozo quads, with similar stops but the sun was excruciating at these hours. Dinner at Calypso restaurant was extremely awful, sour and bitter fermented pasta from yesterday's dinner yuck WTF so I recommend bring some snacks or buy in the shop at one of the stops. On the way back we swam only once in blue lagoon unfortunately :(. Left with ferry at around 9:40 and was back at around 16:45 You can buy 1L cold water for 1€ at Gozo docks. Overall I really recommend this experience, especially for couples.
Thank you for the experience Emilio and Mario.
Thank you Mario and Emilio for the nice quad tour!
Nice quad tour with Emilio Mario!
Our guide Emilio mario was the best
Experience was amazing, tour guides Emilio and Georgina were amazing.
Emilio G was a great guide and kept everyone safe and together. Loved that there was a little bit of flexibility to do what we wanted at stops!
We really enjoyed the experience, fist stopping to swim in the blue lagoon and getting to see Gozo in an untraditional way. Driving the quad bike was a lot of fun and both Emilio and Ahmed were excellent guides, keeping the tour on schedule and making sure everyone was safe and on track. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a unique experience while visiting Malta.
Captain Jaja and the crew was great! We really enjoyed the trip.
Ahmeed and Emilio great trip with the guys
Ahmed and Emilio were great!!
We joined this tour in Malta and, overall, it was a mixed experience. The boat trip started well. At first, we were placed on a smaller boat with fewer people, which was actually quite comfortable. However, later we were moved to a much bigger boat, and it was extremely crowded. We were taken to the Blue Lagoon area, but unfortunately the boat stopped quite far from the actual beach, so we were only allowed to stay in the water near the boat. The tour description said we would have around two hours for swimming, but we were given only about 50 minutes, which was disappointing. After that, we went for the quad tour, which was definitely the highlight of the day. The guide was great and the experience itself was enjoyable. However, it is important to know that the quad tour was almost entirely on asphalt roads, not off-road or dirt tracks as we expected. The dinner was probably the weakest part of the tour. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, and there was hardly anything that we really enjoyed. The final stop was for sunset, and that part was beautiful. The scenery was great and it was definitely a nice place for taking photos. Overall, there were some very good moments, especially the quad tour and the sunset, but the overcrowded boat, shorter-than-promised swimming time, disappointing dinner, and mostly-asphalt quad route made the experience less enjoyable than we expected.
An amazing experience with amazing tour guides would highly reccommend
We booked this Gozo ATV tour hoping for an adventurous, guided look at the island. Instead, it felt like conveyor belt tourism from start to finish. From the time we left our apartment to actually starting, it was over 2 hours, with no water offered - only the option to buy it. The guides were curt, disengaged, and offered next to no local insight. It often felt like we were expected to just know how everything worked. Riding the ATVs through that terrain and heat is challenging. Without proper framing or encouragement, it became punishing rather than fun. The itinerary felt rushed by design, with little time to slow down, take things in, or understand what we were seeing. And the included lunch was shockingly bad. Dry pasta, chemical-tasting ice cream, nothing that connected us to the place or made it feel special. The one bright spot was the boat trip back. The captain was friendly, relaxed, showed us the caves, let us swim. That piece was brilliant. But overall, this tour was rushed, impersonal, and poorly supported. We’d skip it unless you’re keen to just check boxes - not actually enjoy the day.
Great day. Eillo and ahamid were amazing hosts. A great way to see the beauty of gozo.
Was a really good trip , the mêla his pretty good, amhed and Emilio are friendly y recommende
Good and enjoy for this tour, thanks Emilio and ahhmed
Great opportunity to see the island and it was absolutely worth the price
Great all day experience, started with a boat ride to Gozo. Then a good long ride on quad bikes stopping off at various places along the way. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lunch food, otherwise I can highly recommend this package!
Well planned day lots of fun and friendly staff
Amazing experience, such a lovely crew and beautiful views. Only thing I would suggest is bring your own food if you don’t like simple pasta for lunch! Loved it! 10/10 would recommend.
Excellent experience , safe, and fun lead by responsible and professional caring service providers. It is very important to follow the safely rules.
We had high hopes for this excursion, but unfortunately it ended up being one of our least favorite experiences during our trip. The day is advertised as an exciting quad tour, but realistically it’s an 11+ hour commitment, with roughly an hour and a half spent on transportation and administrative tasks before you really get going. In the end, we spent an entire day to visit only four locations around Gozo. The quad portion itself was disappointing. The pace is extremely slow, to the point where cars and Vespas regularly passed us. There are also multiple stops throughout the day, and because some guests repeatedly returned late to the meeting points, everyone else was left waiting. It became frustrating after it happened several times. For the first several hours, there was very little interaction or information from our guide, making for a quiet and somewhat awkward atmosphere. Fortunately, toward the end of the tour we were able to get our guide out of his shell, and he finally started sharing some of Gozo’s history, which was actually very interesting. I just wish that level of enthusiasm had been there from the beginning. One stop was at a well-known diving location that was presented as one of the top diving sites in Malta. After speaking with local divers and doing some research afterward, that claim didn’t seem to be accurate, which made us question some of the information shared during the tour. Lunch was actually excellent, and the meal provided was one of the highlights of the day. However, there was virtually no shaded public seating to enjoy it unless you purchased something from one of the nearby businesses. Since participants are also expected not to drink alcohol before finishing the quad portion of the tour, it made for an uncomfortable lunch stop on a hot day. The tour is also not suitable for anyone with mobility limitations, anyone pregnant, or anyone requiring additional assistance, as there is a significant amount of getting on and off the quads and walking at several stops. One thing that also stood out was the raffle held during the boat ride back. It was a fun idea, but only the winners were encouraged to leave reviews. Looking back at the overwhelmingly positive reviews online, that approach now makes a bit more sense. Also, if you decide partway through the excursion that you’d rather leave early, skip a swim stop, or head back on your own, transportation back is your responsibility. Overall, the scenery in Gozo is beautiful, and there were some enjoyable moments, especially later in the day. However, between the long duration, slow pace, lack of information for much of the tour, and logistical frustrations, this excursion simply wasn’t worth an entire vacation day for us. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re specifically looking for a very slow-paced sightseeing experience rather than an exciting quad adventure.
This is a brilliant way to see the island of Gozo. Emilio and Seif Were brilliant and took care to ensure everyone was safe but had a great time. I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was one of the highlights of our holiday to Malta.
Great tour with lots of amazing sites. Removal of one star is only due to some inefficiency and disorganization on arrival to Gozo ferry terminal (before bus to boats) and arrival back to Malta/buses to hotels. Bus arrived just a few minutes after scheduled to our hotel pick up. communication on WhatsApp was outstanding prior. Bus was small and crowded, completely full but did the job. When we got to the Valletta ferry terminal to cross to Gozo they got us on the boat efficiently. The issues started when we arrived in Gozo, there were multiple groups on multiple tours but no one was proactive about letting us know who we hang with until Chris got involved. Chris is awesome, felt taken care of as long as he was around! It was quite a bit of waiting time in the sun before we got on the bus to the place where ATVs stored. Once we got on the ATVs, it was smooth sailing for the tour. Recommend wearing your bathing suit under your clothes if you want to swim at the grotto that they take you to for lunch- porta potties were only place to change and not ideal. Bring towel! Highly recommend taking the 5 Euro boat tour there just beautiful. Lunch was exactly as described by others, kinda terrible- tasteless pasta, a mushy tomato sandwich and brownie. Some people just ended up getting their own lunch at one of the small restaurants there. There will be places to buy water, but I recommend bringing at least a couple bottles. It is hot and sunny and lots of sun, sunscreen and reapply! Always felt safe on the ATVs I just felt really cool to be free and looking at amazing scenery. They take good care of you and make sure that everyone adheres to the safety rules. Our main tour guide (not Chris) didn’t always wait for folks to get off the bikes to start explaining things, so if you were at the back of the line, oh well. The blue lagoon stop was a quick dip (20 min) if looking for more of a beach adventure then I wouldn’t go with this- it was perfect for us. Feedback for company is that once we got off the boat from Comino it was completely disorganized. They should have one person assigned to tell you which bus to get to go to we ended up walking around for about 10 minutes to find a group going to Valletta and finally a guy who was on the bus with us on the way there yelled out the window “I think you’re with me”! The drivers were nowhere to be found and we sat in a hot bus for several minutes until driver finally arrived and told us he’s going to Valletta. Not the best way to end an otherwise awesome day!
Deeply saddened by this experience, ruined by poor customer care, an unsafe vehicle, and unfair treatment. We booked a Gozo quad bike tour through GetYourGuide, with the tour operated by Yippee. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun and memorable part of our holiday became a stressful and upsetting experience, which ruined our stay in Malta. My husband and I were each on individual quads, positioned roughly halfway down a convoy of around 22 quads. During the tour, the bonnet of my quad suddenly flew off while I was riding. It hit me in the face before landing in the road. Naturally, the convoy ahead continued, but once my husband realised I was no longer behind him and was out of sight, he turned around to check that I was okay. Instead of showing any concern for what had happened, the response from the guide was extremely disappointing. My husband was reprimanded in front of the group and made to feel foolish for checking on his wife after a piece of the quad had flown off whilst riding at high speeds. This was embarrassing, unnecessary, and showed a real lack of empathy. Later in the tour, while travelling at very low speed through a narrow residential area, the convoy stopped at a junction. We were each edging forward and stopping, as you would expect in a line of 22 vehicles. At this point, the bumper of my quad lightly nudged my husband’s quad in front. The same guide then insisted this had caused major damage to the radiator. However, another guide checked the quad and stated that there was no fluid and no visible damage, and confirmed that the radiator was overheating, but wouldn't say that it was a result of what had happened. Due to the fact that the quad fell apart prior to this, it's more likely that the quad had been involved in a bump previous to our tour. Despite this, we were made to pay a €450 excess and weren't allowed to leave until we paid on the spot. Given the circumstances, this felt completely unreasonable and left us feeling as though the situation was used as an opportunity to extract more money from us. It cast a shadow over the rest of our holiday and left a very sour taste, as well as leaving us short for the rest of our stay in Malta. Accidents and issues can happen, but the way they are handled matters. In this case, the lack of concern when a rented quad fell apart whilst riding, the public reprimanding of my husband for checking on me (who wouldn't check where if their wife was ok if she was no longer in sight?), and the insistence on a large excess- which is WAY MORE than the insurance charge- despite conflicting assessments of the damage made the experience feel deeply unfair. We do not accept liability for the claim made against us, but We apologised to the guide that he was put in a position to have this conversation with us, especially since the money would be "tAkEn OuT oF hIs SaLaRy" if we didn't pay it there and then. Which, isn't true at all and was a calculated use of dishonesty and emotional blackmail.
