The excursion to Gozo was wonderful. The transfer was well organized, and our guide was very friendly and professional. The lunch and tasting were also good. However, we were very disappointed with the overall organization! We were not informed in advance that the visit to Comino might be cancelled. We were simply told during the excursion that we would not be taken there due to weather conditions. Meanwhile, we saw other tourists swimming and other tour groups going to Comino. What upset us the most was that we paid for a tour to two islands, but they simply did not take us to one of them, without offering any compensation or even a discount! They just apologized and sent us home. We really enjoyed Gozo, but this treatment left us with a very unpleasant impression. We believe this was unfair and unprofessional.

Highly recommend the Jeep experience. Guide Ian deftly accommodated our requests i.e Let’s focus on the scenery and photography and stop at an authentic bakery, buy local honey etc. He was enthusiastic and a great photographer. The jeep is a thrilling way to explore the island.
We have been assigned an inexperienced tour guide/driver with limited English. He is unable to explain where we are going, how long we will be in a particular location and he has to rely on another driver to guide him where to go. The jeep is not working properly with safely belt broken. The trip to Comino was cancelled but we were not informed by the driver.
You get to see many interesting aspects of Gozo island. Our guide, Ian, gave a brief overview of each spot and then left us to explore on our own. Water conditions made it impossible to take their shuttle boat back to Malta, so arrangements were made for the ferry. The tour was handled well, even with the hiccups Lunch was basic, pasta was so so. The savoury pastries were tasty. We sat in the back in the jeep and the engine makes it very warm, at times uncomfortable. There were frequent enough stops so that didn’t last long. An enjoyable day
Absolutely brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. Pick up was simple and on time. Transfer to Gozo by boat incredibly straightforward. For our jeep tour Oliver (and colleague) were brilliant guides, and had a great understanding of Gozo and shared enough of it to make the trip really interesting. As there were only 4 of us in the jeep it was also very personal and, whilst we covered the main stops on the itinerary, we did a few extras that not sure Tuc-Tucs could get too and buses would definitely not have got to. Trip back round Comino was with a great crew who chatted us through all the sites and just generally, and the skipper steered the boat so smoothly despite quite a swell. All in all 10 out of 10 and definitely the highlight of our 10 day holiday.
The actual tour was amazing, we saw most places on the itinerary. Our guide was lovely and helpful. The main issue was the pick up. Every email from Viatour said our pick up was at 8am, even one sent on the morning, so we were there ready at 7.50am. We phoned the company at 8.20am who then stated the pick up was 8.30am and at the same time sent us a confirmation on What's ap (one that they had obviously forgotten to send previously). We continued to wait and we we're eventually picked up at 9.10am which was really disappointing. There was also another person waiting who had been given mixed information about there pick up point. There is obviously mixed communication beteen Viatour and the company Yippee.
Great day with tourguide Adrien on Gozo and perfect swimming on the way back.
Great experience, all recommendations!!
Splendid visit around gozo, ali was a perfect guide and boat personnel sensationnel.
Great way to see the island and its main sights. Grant and George were knowledgeable and helpful. Fun way to explore.
Had the best boat tour with Devon and Jerome!! We didn’t stop laughing and had so much fun!
Everything was great except the luch. The pastry apoetizer was good, ice cream was ok, but the main dish (pasta) was really bad, super bad , I can say the worst pasta ever. It was not fresh, not flavor and hard to eat. It will be great if the tour find another option.
Overall, we enjoyed the tour and it was a good way to see Gozo and Comino, but there are a few things worth knowing before booking. The Comino/Blue Lagoon part was much shorter than expected. You only get around 20 minutes to swim at the Blue Lagoon, and the rest of the boat trip takes you around other areas, including Crystal Lagoon and Comino Bay. If you really want to experience Comino and spend time swimming at these places, I would recommend booking a separate Comino tour. On the Gozo part, our driver took us to a beach that was his favourite swimming spot, where we spent around an hour. Unfortunately, we really didn’t like this beach. Everyone in our group agreed that we would much rather have had more time at Dwejra, where we were only given around 5–10 minutes. Dwejra was one of the highlights and it felt very rushed. Overall, a good tour and an enjoyable day, but I think the itinerary could be better balanced by allowing more time at the main sights rather than such a long stop at the driver’s preferred beach.
We had an amazing time in Gozo! The pickup was easy, information was clear and everything was super organized. Special thank you to Joe M, who made our trip special. He took us all over Gozo, was very knowledgeable about the island and its beautiful places and was just a wonderful person. We had lots of fun and would definitely say it's worth it! Thank you!
Perfec with Kamel, amazing and very good trip !
Excellent day out. We had a great guide in Stefan, he was full of knowledge about Gozo and Malta. We saw all of the highlights Gozo has to offer, as well as some hidden gems. Highly recommended.
Great fun, great value, would highly recommend
The food wasn’t good, we ate only pasta for All day. În rest everything was very good.
Great way to see Gozo. We visited all the interesting locations and had a couple of swim stops. We had a very knowledgeable guide, Grant who talked us through all the stops. On the way back we stopped from at the blue lagoon near Camino.
From pick up, to drop of- perfekt 😁
Excellent overall experience. We were wondering that the day would be too long bur it was just long enough. Staff is nice and the jeep itself is for max 5 ppl + driver (we were 3 on our tour, a couple + another guest) so no need to spend more on a private tour, it’s intimate enough. We paid 85 per person for the 7 hours. Great value.
Absolute amazing team, they were nice and caring. They love Malta and take time to explain ! Special shoutout to Georges ! Hope to see you again next time.
Beatuieful Trip with Nice Guides
Our specific tour was called Sunset Jeep Safari: Gozo & Comino Combo Tour Self Drive. Although the self-drive jeeps were super fun, the staff and organization was chaotic. So much time lost organizing groups, and too many people stuffed on the boat. We looked around at the other boats in the swimming area in Camino and wished we'd been on one of those instead. Once on Gozo, even more chaos. They dump the whole boatload of us out on the pier and no one has a sign for each specific tour. When there were only a small number of us left, we saw that that was our tour group. The guides were fighting amongst themselves and were one short of a jeep. We had to drive out of the way to their "office" to sign contracts for the tour - complete waist of our time. Would never recommend this outfit. They need to train their staff and have signage for people when offering multiple tours at once.
We had an amazing Jeep Safari tour around Gozo with Yippee! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Big thanks to our drivers, Dimitri and Georgie, who made our day unforgettable. Highly recommended!
What an amazing day from start to finish! This excursion was fantastic value for money, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every stop on the tour was excellent, and we've come away with some unbelievable photos and memories that we'll treasure forever. Everything was so well organised, from the hotel pick-up, the 4x4 buggy tour, the delicious lunch, and the brilliant boat trip. Every part of the day exceeded our expectations. A special mention has to go to our tour guide, Mirko. He was absolutely superb! He was incredibly informative, sharing lots of interesting facts throughout the tour as well as giving us some great tips about Malta. We got chatting about where we're from in Scotland, and we couldn't believe how well he understood our accent! He was so friendly, approachable, and made everyone feel welcome, which really added to the experience. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole day ran smoothly from beginning to end. We genuinely can't fault a single thing. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Malta. It was one of the highlights of our holiday, and Mirko definitely deserves a wee bonus for the outstanding job he does. Thank you for such a memorable day!
Had a very enjoyable day on this trip. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. It is a great way to see Gozo. Well done to the boat pilot in the morning as there was a very rude passenger on board. He handled him well. On one of the stops we took a short boat trip. Only 5 euros per person, well worth it. The water and caves were amazing. After the jeep safari was over, we sailed to the Blue Lagoon. Beautiful. This trip was very good value for money and I highly recommend it.
Grant was our driver and we had a great day going around Gozo, stopping by beautiful cliffs and local sights. The drive was followed by a boat trip and dip in Blue Lagoon.
An unforgettable way to see Gozo! The jeep safari was both fun and educational. A huge thanks to our guide/driver, Joseph, who was incredibly kind and made sure we had a top-tier experience from start to finish.
We had a great day exploring Gozo with our Driver Joseph . He was full of interesting information and highly recommend doing the Tour with him
Very fun and entertaining. Learned a lot and got to see salt pools, swim & swim by the blue cave. Both the jeep excursion and boat were great!
I have reserved the Jeep safari tour on the website. I cannot write good review about this agency. These are the reasons: - I have written some messages at the WhatsApp number service the day before the tour. They didn't answer some of my questions even though I wrote to them several times; - I have waited 20 minutes at the pick up point. I have tried to call them because I was worried but they didn't answer me; - The drop off was 500m from my place; - On the tour I have read "Light traditional Gozitan lunch". The dish was Italian Pasta; - I have selected English tour. I was with 2 polish couples. Only one of them spoke English. So, each time we have to wait his translation. Was difficult to put me just with English people? There were a lot of space available in the others jeep. The guide was great, I can just talk well about him. Something is better to say "we are sorry for the mistakes" instead of justifying everything without apologizing or offering any discount for the poor service. You can find better tour operator with good customer service without spend a lot of money with them.
I would give this tour top marks because the places visited are beautiful and the guide, Mario, was super attentive. The only downside is the vehicle used for the tour. It was very noisy, and the interior got quite hot, causing significant discomfort to the legs. The company needs to use newer, more modern vehicles.
We really enjoyed this day. Gozo was stunning and we are so glad we went. Ideally we would have loved more time here but felt this trip made the most of the one day we had available on this trip. The tour was well organised and our driver - Grant- was help, friendly and informative. A great way to pack a lot of sites into one trip
A well organised tour from the pickup to drop off. The drive around allowed us to see the countryside. Our driver, Peter, gave a good running commentary to us in English and to another couple in Polish. We stopped, inevitably, in a couple of Churches, by some viewing points, roman salt pans, and around the coast. A pleasant day out with a basic but OK meal and probably the best way to see Gozo in a day.
Fantastic! Brilliant boat trips, jeep safari of Gozo, lunch, transfers from hotel. Very well organised, staff friendly and helpful with older people, very professional and great fun. Brilliant day out from 8.45am to 6pm. Amazing 5 stars. Best way to experience Gozo, Comino, Blue ,Lagoon and historical sites and islands
On the positives, the island of Gozo was beautiful. The views were outstanding at every stop, especially the steep cliff sides. Mustafa was our guide and was friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch was at a local restaurant with a kind staff. Main dish was okay, the starter and dessert were very tasty. I think the value of the tour was well worth it with the amount of things we see including transportation and the boat ride around Comino island. As for the negative, we had a rough time with Transportation. We arrived at the meeting location 10 minutes before 9am and saw no one, kept waiting past 9. We messaged the contact number and no answer. A man finally drove up but had no signs nor asked us if we are with the tour. So we just stood around a bit until he finally announced he was with the tour company. It was quite confusing and a bitter start to the day. The return trip back from the island was also delayed since another tour group got lost and we had to wait for them before the boat can depart. Luckily we were in no hurry. All in all, it was a very good day getting to see a more rugged side of Malta!
Dmitri was excellent! Provided wifi on our journey and was very helpful and attentive to making sure we all got full details about each stop and even other places we passed. He speaks an impressive amount of languages and took great care in communicating with our group, given all of our different backgrounds. He made it a really great day.
We booked this jeep safari to see places in Gozo that we couldn’t see on the bus etc The trip was excellent starting with a quick transfer from our hotel, to a fast crossing over to Gozo, the jeep was really comfortable and Kris our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble , even when we left a mobile phone on the jeep at the end he managed to get it to the next boat captain who returned it to us at the dock in Malta, this was a great relief as we thought we had lost it forever! Thankyou Kris for such great service and making the day fun for us!
All good - travel visits and lunch just spot on.
This tour is expensive, and the published itinerary is not accurate. You do not see all of the sights on the itinerary, and the tour company is uncommunicative about the changes in ferry transportation vs. private boat transportation.
We had an amazing experience and saw everything on the island we had hoped to see in one day! There was no way we could have done it on our own. Gozo is stunningly beautiful and we made a new friend in our driver/guide, Mario. He made the experience especially great!
Really fun. Quissem was a kind and helpful guide driving us around and making it fun. It's a little rushed to see everything, but that's the nature of it. No blue lagoon as was on ferry as water too rough for private boat. Just unfortunately the driver was 40 mins delayed picking us up at the end of ferry due to traffic. Otherwise highly recommend to get a great, full trip around Gozo. Lunch was lovely too!
The tour itin includes Blue Lagoon for one hour even during winter time for viewing but end up we just pass by and didn’t have a chance to discover it
It was a wonderful trip. Our driver Kenneth was very knowledgeable and informative. He took us to all important places in Gozo and was very helpful.
Nice trip. Very good guide, know interesting facts and stories. 6 hours adventure in nice company. The price matches the offer.
🎄 An Unforgettable Christmas Jeep Tour with Yippee Tours Gozo! 🎄 Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of joining a Jeep tour with Yippee Tours in Gozo, and it was truly one of the most magical and enjoyable experiences we’ve had! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised. The jeep ride itself was fantastic, taking us to some amazing locations around Gozo, with beautiful scenery and well-chosen stops along the way. Each stop felt special and well thought out. What made the tour even more unique was the Christmas atmosphere — visiting Christmas markets, enjoying delicious food, and soaking up the festive spirit made the whole day feel extra special. And of course… Santa Claus being there was the cherry on top! 🎅 Such a fun and unexpected touch that brought smiles to everyone. A huge thank you to Christian, who was absolutely amazing — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made everyone feel welcome and ensured we were having a great time throughout the entire tour. And Santa Claus was equally fantastic, adding so much joy, laughter, and festive magic. This tour wasn’t just sightseeing — it was an experience, full of warmth, fun, great food, and wonderful people. If you’re visiting Gozo and want something truly special (especially during the festive season), Yippee Tours is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended — we would do it again in a heartbeat!
Excellent fun day out. Pick up on time, comfortable boat transfer to Gozo and the tour of blue lagoon and the caves on the way back to Malta was superb. Our jeep safari guide Ursula was excellent. Enough info on what to do and where to go at the different sites. Time to explore too. Thoroughly good tour.
Had an amazing time on the tour, our driver (Kris) gave an unforgettable experience!! Got to experience having authentic Maltese food. Would definitely do it again!
We had a fun day cruising around Gozo. We hit a large number of amazing spots and this is a great way to see the island. Our guide, Abdul, was a great guy. Highly recommend.
