Full Day Private Tour Around The Island In Malta

Jayson was an excellent driver and tour guide provider. His English speaking skills were excellent. He provided a pertinent review of the history and the geography of the islands. He easily got us to all of the important sites on the island with his late model BMW sedan which was perfect for the two of us. The car was immaculate. We even got to do the blue Grotto experience because he was able to get us there in the morning before the afternoon winds kicked up which would’ve prohibited such an activity. We are so glad we got there because it was beautiful. Jayson was able to get the car into close proximity of all the sites that we wanted to visit due to his excellent driving skills.

In the beginning I didn't have the best impression because the tour guide John arrived late and I had to contact the tour company to ask what was going on at 9:00 a.m., he arrived around 9:15 or 9:20 because the road was closed (which can happen but still).. but when I took the tour, oh boy-not just the tour, Malta as a whole exceeded my expectations. In the beginning I ranked Malta a 7 out of 10. After the tour, it was bumped up to an 8.5.. need I say more?

We only had four days in Malta and wanted to see as much as possible, so a full day with a personal guide was the perfect solution. Jason was friendly, knowledgeable and kind, with a great sense of humour. He even surprised us with a couple of small gifts along the way. Great way to see the island. Mosta roundta lots of steeps to the top. Not suitable for disabled people. Very enjoyable , went at own pace not rushed. John the driver very professsional. Air conditioning in the car was a godsend. Only thing that wrong was getting in and out of the boats at the Blue Grotto - blue grotto staff very unprofessional seemed like they just wanted your money.

Communication and logistics was easy. Tour was as advertised and lots of ability to flex and still hit the entire tour. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and kept two very jet lagged people entertained and engaged.

This was honestly the best tour experience I have had. As a solo traveler, Jason immediately made me feel like a special guest. He was very friendly, gave me some great insights in Malta’s history. I didn’t want to say goodbye we when we were done. We hit so many amazing spots in Malta. I only had two days on the island and this trip was so worth every penny. If you want to get outside of Valletta - and while I loved Valletta, you should as there is A LOT to see - this is THE way to do it. You get personal drop off’s /pickups at each location, and you don’t feel rushed by a large tour bus schedule. It’s on your time - and a thousand times more personal. Our private tour with Jason was the best tour we have ever been on. Jason was very informative and made our trip so comfortable. He drove us around in a luxury BMW and was so courteous. We visited Mosta, Mdina, Hagar Qim, a gorgeous cave in the sea, and even a wine tour that we specifically requested. We had some pastry and prickly pear tastings. He taught us so much about history and life in Malta. We wish we could tour with him for the rest of our trip!

We had a 14 hr layover in Malta and decided to do a Malta city tour. Aldo picked us up at the airport at 8:30am and was fantastic tour guide/driver from start to finish. My friends and I could not have asked for a better experience seeing Malta! Not only did he take us to see all of the amazing landscape of Malta but he also explained the history and culture of the Maltese people along with fun tidbits of pop culture like all the many films and locations used in Malta for movies such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many many others. We saw the Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs, Mdina, the capital, Valletta, and much much more. As we made our way in our air conditioned, comfortable van through the narrow streets of Malta, we felt safe with Aldo. He was thoughtful enough to make sure we had bottled water, a traditional Maltese pastry for us to try and a little memento of our trip. All entry fees to temple sights, cathedrals, etc. were included in the package. Because our tour ended at 5:30 and we still had 5 hrs before our flight, Aldo recommended a wonderful authentic Maltese restaurant for dinner in the city center of Valletta that was fantastic.

The cathedral was magnificent. Saw everything reasonable to see. Found out about the National War Museum for the next day on our own.

Jason drove Mom and I around Malta to all the sites I requested plus plenty of time for an absolutely delicious lunch! He also surprised me with an additional site I wanted to see but didn’t request. We had PLENTY of time to get back to the ship! 🥰

We booked this private tour a bit last minute as we were trying to decide the best way to use our 3 days in Malta. And it was the BEST decision we could have made! We saw so many amazing highlights of Malta in one day that would have been impossible to see otherwise. We lucked out by getting an amazing guide/driver for the day as well - Jason. He was professional, knew exactly where he was taking us and was great to chat with. Everything was pre-arranged to get us into all of the sites. It's still pretty hot in Malta in September, so having a comfortable air-conditioned ride with water in between the heat of stops was icing on the cake. Though it's a bit of a long day, it doesn't really feel like it because you are having so much fun along the way. We highly recommend this tour/company to anyone. THANK YOU for an amazing day!

Peter was our guide, a gentleman from start to finish. Brought us on an amazing tour around Malta, he tailored the trip to our needs concentrating to the middle and southern areas as we requested. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, with a good mix of local knowledge and history of the island. I can't recommend this tour enough. I wanted time to really explore the island's rich history and Pesu delivered. It was great seeing expected highlights like Mdina and Mosta church, but also surprising backstreets and different towns which enabled me to see Malta in a different light. Pesu was full of local knowledge and passionate about the island. He could not have been more accommodating and never tired of my questions. If you want an expert, in-depth appreciation of Malta this is the tour for you. Thanks Pesu for an amazing day!

This was the perfect way to see so much of the island. Jason did a fantastic job planning our day, and he added so much context to the sites and history that truly enriched our experience. I was traveling with my mom who is older, and Jason was attentive to her needs and took fantastic care of us all day. We loved our day in Malta with him and highly encourage others not hesitate in booking this private tour option.

From the minute our driver turned up perfectly on time and immaculately dressed in his immaculately presented 4 series BMW we knew we were in for a fabulous trip. Everything about this tour was top notch! From the monuments, attractions and multitude of towns we visited Jason knew everything we needed to know and told us lots of ‘hot tips’ about where we should eat or could easily find toilets etc!, all in the easies to understand English….and as for respect and courtesy I was almost embarrassed at my door always being opened for me and regularly being asked if there was anything more Jason could do for us. It certainly wasn’t the cheapest option available but I have no hesitation in recommending it as great value!

Our guide was very nice, friendly and attentive! It was a private tour to see all the highlights of Malta (all the tickets included). We asked to slightly adapt the itinerary in order to see things that we had not seen yet and there was flexibility to adjust. It was a great day and we had a very good experience!
