Lamp lit by night and referred to as "the silent city", Mdina is fascinating to visit for its timeless atmosphere as well as its cultural and religious treasures.
The town is well established on the tourist map due to its archaeological and historical sites: The Roman Villa (Domus Romana), catacombs, St. Paul's Grotto and the fine churches and monasteries.
The Mosta Dome is perhaps the most impressive church in Malta, with its massive rotunda, that is the third largest in Europe.
The location of this fascinating natural grotto combines with sunlight and the surrounding chain of caves to reflect the phosphorescent colours of the submerged flora and the deep dark shade of blue of the sea.
The Ħaġar Qim temples are beautiful, a masterpiece of prehistoric masonry, and considering they were built between 3600 and 3200 BC, still very well preserved.
Salah gave us a great tour around Malta. We were able to tailor the itinerary to what we felt up for. Definitely better than a big tour bus where you have stick to a rigid schedule.

Salah came on time, very well organized of the day, there were cruise ship in town, some of the areas were packed with buses, but he always navigate around, manage to drop me off at the front. Due to the road construction, he apologized ahead of time that is not the usual route,which takes a little longer. Absolutely wonderful driver, great way to see Malta, the history, the culture, the beauty.

We had a fabulous day with our tour around Malta. A little mix up with the meeting place but this did not impact our day trip. It was great to be driven to the many highlight spots without the fuss of bus travel. Great driver and recommendations.

Had a fantastic Driver took us to all the main sites just had a really good time. We should have scheduled for six hours. There was a lot to see.
We were able to see most of the notable historic sites around Malta in just 4 hours. Our driver, Salah, was most accommodating and tailored the itinerary to suit our needs. I had actually done some research and had a short list of "must see points". We were able to see them all and greatly enjoyed chatting with Salah who gave us great insight into life in Malta.

This was a wonderful custom tour of Malta with only my husband and myself and a very knowledgeable driver/guide, Salal. We told him what we wanted to see and he was very accommodating. Definitely do the boat ride in the Blue Grotto, it is worth it even if the sea is rough. The boatman was incredibly skilled at entering the grottos while avoiding the waves. We also went to the archaeological site, Mdina which was very beautiful, the Mosta dome, and ended with a drive through Valletta. We learned so much about Malta in a short period of time. I highly recommend this tour instead of taking a cruise ship excursion which lacks flexibility. Absolutely worth it!

The driver did not show up, customer support did not answer my numerous messages. Had to dispute the charge with my Credit Card Company as Viator took tour operator's word over mine. What a joke!
Great way to see Malta when you're short on time. I shared what things I wanted to see, and my guide made a great custom itinerary for me. I really appreciated how easy everything felt so I could just focus on having a good time on the tour.
Salah was a wonderful guide on this tour. He was so kind to our family (including our children) and adjusted the stops based on what we wanted to see. We enjoyed St. Peter's Pool, Marsaxlokk, the Blue Grotto, and the Hagar Qim Temples. Salah never made us feel rushed and shared facts about Malta during the drive. This was the whole family's favorite activity/tour of our trip!
Salah was fantastic! Very knowledgable, friendly, prompt and accommodating! We loved everything about his private, personal tour. Although tut was very hot, his air conditioned car was a sanctuary between sites. I highly recommend his tour and would happily do it over again!
