Valencia Old Town Tour With Wine & Tapas In 11th Century Historic Monument

Cormac was excellent. Great tour, great food and great wine. I would really recommend this tour for all.

We started on a dreary day, rainy and two people. But our guide Cormac powered us through. As the weather cleared up, we also ended with a wonderful tour. So much so, I signed up with the company’s evening Paella Cooking Class. The tour was so much fun and personal! Thank you! Absolutely amazing. Only word of caution, if you have a weak liver, don’t do the two tours in on day…

Martha was a perfect host and guide. The experience was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The old city tour was informative and so much fun. The wine and tapas pairings were delicious and held in a lovely private location. This is one of my very top excursions ever!

The tour w/ Bogi was amazing! The history during our walking tour was very thorough and interesting. The tapas and Valencian wines were very good, as well as learning from Bogi about each of them. We highly recommend this tour in Valencia!

Tom was a wonderfully insightful and friendly guide. He was accommodating and flexible to the groups requests. He was very engaging through out the tour and playful with the history lesson. We loved the private setting for tapas and drinks that followed. It allowed for more intimate and engaging conversation with everyone. The food was delicious as well as a learning experience about local cuisine ingredients. Highly recommend this to anyone!

For first time visitors, this tour is a great way to jump in and learn about Valencia. We had a small group of 7 tourists gather at 11am for an relaxing tour of the city's beautiful old town. Our guide was friendly and talked about the history and culture of the city as he showed us the market, cathedral and historical buildings. At the end we went to a restaurant's beautiful courtyard where we had various wines and delicious tapas focusing on drink and food local to Valencia. This gave us time to talk to the other tourists and learn more about them and their plans in the city. Our guide was very friendly and easy to hang out with and also gave recommendations, for things to do, see, and eat while in the city.

This tour ended up being one of our top favorites of our 4-city stop Spain vacation! Our tour guide was awesome. (He's pictured in photos attached!) We loved seeing the sites around old town Valencia, but we were blown away with the wine and tapas portion! They went ABOVE & BEYOND! We had some of the best Spanish wines that we had our entire trip. The tapas and wine just kept coming! The experience included way more courses of tapas and countless number of wines that we could hardly finish because they were plentiful and everything was delicious! I cannot say enough about the service and generosity of this tour. I give our guide all the Trip Advisor review stars! Thanks to our travel agent for planning this one for us!

This is a must do experience. Paula was a great host/guide. She was extremely knowledgeable for the tour around old town and was great as the host at dinner. As for the tastings, this was awesome. After spending days in Valencia eating the same type of food, it was great to try different foods and different takes on the originals. The chef should be commended for putting out such high quality and tasty food.

The tour was easy to book on line, with clear meeting instructions. Our guide Paula also contacted us the day before confirming instructions and to obtain dietary requirements. This is a fantastic tour. It’s an interesting and informative tour about the history of Valencia followed by a delicious tasting. We were so surprised by how good the food was and the portions. I never expect to fill up at a tasting but I couldn’t even finish my dessert. The wine was really high quality and so good. Tom was a perfect guide. He was super knowledgeable about both Valencia and the food/wine and we had a blast getting to know him and our group. I can’t recommend this tour enough, especially if you only have a few days in town.

This was my first time booking such a tour in advance of a trip and I was a bit nervous of what to expect. However, it surpassed all expectations on all fronts. Cormac our guide was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and absolutely made the whole experience one to remember. Excellent value for money and would not hesitate to recommend.

Very informative tour giving us an insight into Valencia highlighting places to see and further explore. The tour was followed by an exceptional meal of local dishes using local produce and a selection of local wines.

If it was possible I would give this your SIX stars. Quite possibly the best tour I have ever experienced. Our guide (Isabel) was friendly and knowledgeable. The relaxed pace was perfect. The tapas and wine tasting at the end was in a beautiful setting and was well beyond expectations. Bravo!!

Great tour, one of the highlights of our trip to Valencia. Paula our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour a fun, relaxed and enjoyable experience. It was real "must do" in Valencia. Bogi was just a superb guide, so enthusiastic, fun and knowledgeable. The walking tour was great, the wine and tapas venue was delightful. But the wine and food were such a tremendous surprise. The quality was exceptional with wonderful background information on everything provided. We met some gorgeous people. This was a real gem of an evening. Our highlight for sure!

Paula gave us a very interesting tour of the old town on foot and her passion for Spainish history was evident. We then had a delicious selection of tapas served in a company venue in a secluded courtyard beside moorish wall remains .

Family of 5 (2 adults 3 kids) tour with Paula in Valencia. Tour is 90 min or so of exploring (walking) old city then a sit down tapas and drinks at a very nice event venue. Paula was exceptional with both her knowledge and hospitality, also willingness to easily accommodate for various dietary requests. If you’ve got a free afternoon in Valencia, we couldn’t recommend this tour any more enthusiastically.

One of, if not THE best walking and food tour I’ve ever been on. Martha, our guide, was great and knowledgeable. She helped keep the group engaged and has a great personality and knew her history. The food was amazing and the wine parings were perfect. I was in Valencia for work and booked this tour at the last minute when my schedule opened up. As a solo traveler who literally only had a few hours of free time, I’m so glad that’s how I spent my time.

Fantastic tour. I chose the 4pm tour of the old city followed by delicious tapas and lots of wine in a beautiful, historic monument. It's a small tour so you get to know everyone. Tom was our tour guide, he is great fun and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a lovely time at the tour and tapas - the tour was informative and the tapas and wine pairings were perfect, the terrace setting was both picturesque and historically interesting - all round a great way to spend the early evening!

This tour included the area around the cathedral, and the guide provided information about the history and architecture. The wine tasting and tapas portion was held in a beautifully restored old building.

I went on this tour today, led by Tuathla Green, the duration of the tour both in time and distance was perfect. Tuathla was an excellent tour guide and displayed exceptional knowledge of the various stops on the tour, and put this knowledge over to the party without being too academic, HURRAH! At then end of the tour we were treated to an excellent lunch of tapas and wine followed by a lovely lunch, and yes, more wine. Many thanks to Tuathla and the team for an excellent experience. This was an excellent walking tour of Valencia with our guide, Isabella. It’s a great overview of the old part of the city so book it early in your visit. The food and wine for lunch was also excellent. Several dishes and all were delicious. Isabella was delightful as our guide.

Fabulous tour, our guide Bogi was informative about the old part of the city pointing out many interesting aspects of this beautiful place. The second part was set in an 11th century area , a great spot to savour plenty of delicious wines and tapas. Highly recommend.

This history tour , with wine and a tasting menu was such value for money . We met at 19:00 hrs and had a lovely walk around historic Valencia ,. Cormac was a great tour guide , very entertaining and a lovely man too . He was full of knowledge of the history of Valencia , and gave us recommendations of what to order in the bars and restaurants and told us the best places to eat and shop too . The historic restaurant where we ate was a lovely setting, the food was great and the wine beautiful. Thank you Cormac , for a lovely evening.
