Great food tour. Vivi was a well informed, lively and considerate guide. There were plenty of food and drink tastings, and lots of stories and information, also good fun. Going around the market with Vivi was fantastic, as she seemed to know lots of stall holders, and got extra information from them for some of our questions. There were also good alternatives for the gluten free member if our group. Definitely recommended.

The tour was relaxed, varied, and excellent value for money. Vivi was also happy to answer our questions, share tips and offer suggestions for the rest of our stay. Vivi was very knowledgeable and yet did not overwhelm us with long historical lectures. She kept us moving. She took us to several of her favorite tapas spots, which felt very authentic and were delicious (for the most part). The central market was a definite highlight. The tour was terrific. I would recommend it.

The food experienced during the tour was exceptional as was the knowledge of the tour guide. There was a wide range of establishments visited from local “holes in the wall” to the grand market. The tour is highly recommended.

Vivi was fantastic! Great variety of food samples, explained much of the history of the places we visited, plus family generations owning and running the stores/restaurants. We will go back to many of the places about which we learned.

When I am spending many days in a city, the first thing I do is book a food tour. You learn to eat like a local and know how to experience the rest of your trip. Vivi was an excellent guide and shared much knowledge, including recommendations for what I wanted to do after the tour.

Vivi was wonderful tour guide. Very informative and engaging. We got a good amount of food and drink. We had a group of 10 and everyone had a great time.

Vivi was lovely from the start. She tried to learn our names right away, though they were quite difficult. She was interactive and engaging. She was full of enthusiasm and picked a variety of foods for us too experience. She was even able to accommodate people who were not meat eaters. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

We had a fabulous experience with Vivi. There were 10 of us on the tour, we are all family and we were celebrating the 60th birthdays of most of the crowd. It seems like an older crowd of us but we are all young at heart. Vivi did an amazing job of keeping all 10 of us together and enjoying ourselves during the tour. It is not easy to herd ten siblings and cousins, but she did a great job and showed incredible patience. The food was lovely and Vivi provided a nice historical context for what we were eating and how the different items took on iconic status. We highly recommend taking this tour.

Vivi was amazing! We had done a walking tour the previous day of the same area, but her tour allowed us unique insights into Valencia. She was friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, and accommodating. We mentioned we did not care for mushrooms, and she immediately found a different dish for us. Absolutely brilliant tour! Vivi was fantastic - lots of fun information about the area, the food, the restaurant owners/operators, and of course herself. I can’t believe how lucky we were to find her. It was a lovely afternoon spent wandering, learning, chatting and eating. I highly recommend booking with Vivi. We had two under 18 and two adults. While we had no major dietary accommodations, she was always accommodating with non-alcoholic beverages for the younger ones. We will definitely book with her when we return.

Vivi’s tour was absolutely fantastic! I travelled to Valencia with my two daughters and my sister. We always book a food tour at the beginning of our trip to a new location and Viví did not disappoint. Even though the heat was unbearable, she kept us engaged with bits of history, culture, and of course delicious bites to eat around the historic center of Valencia. I was so grateful that our group was small so we were all able to participate and learn from her. We had an amazing time with Vivi! We had taken a walking tour of the same area the day before, but Vivi showed us a different, unique, local Valencia. She was entertaining and we learned so much more. Also, she was highly accommodating with our food tastes - we have no allergies but mentioned we were not fond of mushrooms, and she was able to get us something different. I did the tour in July 2026, and it was hands-down the highlight of our trip. She guides you through the heart of Valencia’s historic centre, she explains the true origin of tapas culture. The food itself was fantastic. Vivi took us to hidden spots frequented almost exclusively by locals, places I would have completely missed on my own. Vivi is passionate, genuine, and deeply connected to Valencia. If you want a real taste of Valencia, book this tour. You won’t regret it!

The Valencia food tour was the highlight of our trip to Valencia. Vivi took us to great local spots that we would not have found on our own and also gave excellent recommendations of other places to visit on our trip.
