the whole trip was nice and organized, the transportation was comfortable and out guide was very knowledgeable pointing out interesting facts on our way to the caves. and good tips on where to go around the area.

We really enjoyed exploring the cave system which has a unique structure viewed by small boats. Our experience was much enhanced by our tour guide Woj of Valencia and Go who was very informative, friendly and helpful especially with local knowledge which assisted us greatly with our stay and experience in Valencia.

This was such a fun and unique experience. We had an excellent tour guide, his name was Danny and was not only so friendly and fun, but gave us some great history along the way. It’s really something you can only experience here which makes it so special. I also like how close it was to Valencia.

Absolutely amazing experience! Our guide was incredible from start to finish, so friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely happy to share the beauty and history of the area with us. She made the visit to the San José Caves truly unforgettable because she could traduce everything in the caves from Spanish to English! The caves themselves are absolutely breathtaking, but having such a great guide made the experience even more special. If you’re staying in Valencia, I 100% recommend doing this tour. The San José Caves are definitely worth the trip, and having such an amazing guide makes all the difference. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience! The tour guide in the cave didn’t speak any English to accommodate any other passengers other than Spanish. We didn’t know anything about the caves.

Caves of San José Tour with Boat One of the best trips near Valencia. The tour guide speaks very good English and on the way to the caves he told a lot about the history and the view. The cave itself the water was so blue and magnificent view. We have also some moments to take photos during the cave trip. The boat drives though the cave and sometimes you need to bend to fit through the surrounding. Also getting on/off the boat might be a little bit difficult for people that are older.

The boat ride is inice. Adventure into the caves. The tour get our tickets, and have good planning to make sure we enough time to reach the caves.

Great communication from the start. We met the driver at the pickup spot and he was there early. The van ride to the caves was less than an hour and very comfortable and Air conditioned. Our tour guide, Danny, was very friendly and knowledgeable about Valencia and the surrounding towns. The caves themselves were pretty amazing! It was partially in the boat tour and we walked for part of the way as well. Great experience all around. The little town that the caves were set in was very welcoming and and all the gifts and food you would expect to see.

Boat guide wasn’t very informative. Walking part of cave tour self guided with no explanation of formations we were seeing.

The representative was easy to locate, and in the location they had indicated. Both the people and the vehicle were clearly marked and easily identifiable. He spoke excellent English and was attentive to our needs including answering any questions we had. Nothing felt rushed. At the conclusion of the tour, he was in the agreed upon location and waiting to return us back to Valencia where he picked us up. The Vehicle was in excellent condition, and air conditioned as advertised. Travel times to and from the excursion were exactly as described. He took the time to point out interesting things along the way which added to the exclusion. Advice on other activities or sightseeing was natural and never felt like pressure. We appreciated the information and ideas for future excursions.

Not quite as expected. Our tour guide Daniel was amazing (5 + stars) He was a delight, and we learned so much about Velencia from him as he drove us back and forth to the caves. He was open to any question and was very knowledgeable. On the other hand, the boat ride was disappointing. Rude travelers spoke loudly over the tour guide, and the boat ride was very cool, but we learned little. Wish they put us in boats by language.

Was a wonderful tour. Our guide Toni was friendly, knowledgeable, and was great at providing all of the info and logistics we needed to make it a smooth outing, including the meet up location and info about what the experience would be like. The caves themselves were beautiful, and the boat ride through them was wonderful. Appreciated that Toni was able to translate what the oarsman was saying, since I don’t speak Spanish very well. Highly recommend this tour with Toni of Batwalking adventures.

Excellent tour! It was spectacular to see the longest subterrarean river in Europe. The stalegtite formations were amazing. The river was clean and beautiful. I was very happy to see that the boats were not motorized to keep the environment pure and safe.

The caves were interesting and the guide was great! Certainly a worthwhile place to visit while in Valencia.

Our guide, Kika, was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour feel special from start to finish. The caves themselves were incredible — such a unique and cool experience drifting along the underground river and exploring the natural formations. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Truly unforgettable.

We loved the tour, the cave was amazing and really impressive! The guides Daniel and Miguel were friendly, supportive and on our way to the cave we learned a lot about the history as well. The guide in the cave was funny and relaxed. We can absolutely recommend this tour it was an absolute Highlight of our Valencia girls trip!

Overall enjoyed the tour with our group of 6. The caves were picturesque but we found the experience a little touristy. The guide was energetic and fun.

This was the perfect mini-getaway during my family’s stay in Valencia. The cave tour was smooth and well organized, with a boat ride followed by a walkable section and ending with a final boat ride. (It isn’t strenuous at all, and you won’t get wet.) After exiting the caves, we had 30 minutes to walk around and explore the shops and cafes. Our guide was super friendly and professional. All in all, we had a lovely afternoon. Highly recommend!

The cave felt like a Disney ride; not eventful. The drive was a bit long for reward at the end. Our boat ride guide was great and spoke three languages, and made for long explanations in multiple languages.

Very well organised tour. Meeting point is very convenient and within easy reach from centre. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable. Caves were very impressive and have never experienced anything like them before.

I was impressed by the cave, it is highly recommended and the tour was very well organized and provided excellent explanations.

Our driver was very courteous and friendly. He agreed to drop us off close to our hotel. He seemed to be knowledgeable about the area but yet didn’t tell us anything about the caves, their history or geology. We also had an additional person from the tour company riding with us. Not sure what her role was but her presence made the van more crowded.

An excellent tour for those who visit Valencia. The guide found us at a point previously indicated and we went with a Van to the place where the cave is, which contains some restaurants and grocery shops. The cave itself is amazing. We walk a bit to the area where we enter in small boats which are guided by one or two guides depending on the chosen language. The boats drive on a long route inside the cave and stop at its bottom so that visitors can walk for about 300 meters. Then, access the boat again for a different route of return. Amazing visual and history!

Our guide, Daniel (Danny) was very friendly, interested and knew a lot about the regions and buildings that passed on the way to the caves. Very quiet driver and pleasant chat. Top experience!

It is not allowed to take pictures during the tour inside during the boat ride. Be careful to keep your head down during certain points along the way. Enjoy the visit because it will definitely be a unique experience.
