Lovely walk, not too long.beautiful views, river crossing via boulders, cave, canyon. The description Said medium level and it was. Start with coffee and toilet stop which was good thinking and also ended at a small kiosk with washrooms. You could also go for a swim in a lovely clear stream. Great knowledgeable guide.

Itinerary
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Mediterranean countryside, heading toward the deep canyons of the Mijares River. The Hike: The Maimona Ravine We kick off the day with an "epic" hike—this isn't just a stroll! We’ll navigate the trails of the Maimona Ravine. As we ascend, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of limestone cliffs towering 300 meters above the riverbed. It’s the perfect opportunity for photography and feeling the raw power of Spanish nature. The Reward: Fuente de los Baños After working up a sweat, we descend to the famous thermal springs. According to legend, the Moorish King Abu Zeit built these baths so his favorite queens could maintain eternal youth. While we can’t guarantee immortality, the mineral-rich, crystal-clear water is incredibly refreshing and soothing for tired muscles. What to Bring Footwear: Sturdy hiking boots or trail running shoes (mandatory for the hike). Swimwear: A swimsuit and towel for the thermal springs. Sun Protection: Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Hydration: At least 1 liter of water and some energy snacks. Hike details: 11 kilometers with 450 meters of elevation gain

Great hike and great organization. Peter was a wonderful guide. We met by the stadium and Peter drove the 1:15 to our destination. Nice group of people from all over. Some tourists, some expats. Will definitely hike with them again.
Great well organised hike. Started and finished on time. Peter our leader was friendly and helpful He explained the track and showed us our path on a map during the hike. Everyone enjoyed the day.
We had such an amazing day with our tour guide, Peter! He made the whole experience very enjoyable and customized to our likings. The views were gorgeous and swimming at the end was a blast!
Dimitri is a fun and driven guide who comes highly recommended. I had a great time exploring the area with the rest of the group. Walking in such a calm and serene setting was a relief, and the view was stunning. The excursion concluded with a nice drink in a local bar.
Dimitri was an excellent guide on this challanging hike up to an amazing cave. Although the hike is listed as moderate I would plan for really good shoes since much of the hike is uphill and the trail is loose rocks. However, with that being said even causual hikers can handle it. The beautiful views and blue water really make for an experience you won't forget. Wrapping it up at the thermal springs is an amazing capper. The thermal springs are not warm so expect a cold dunk to refresh and cool off after the hike. Highly recommended.
Montanejos is always surprising. Going with Valencia Mountain Enthusiasts and Dmitry is synonymous with success. We first had a coffee in the beautifull and small main square of the town where we all took the opportunity to introduce ourselves. The group was very good. People from all over the world and very friendly. Then we start our route with a very fun climb. At the beginning we visit and get into a huge cave. Once at the top we were able to enjoy wonderful views with the Arenoso reservoir at our feet in one side and Montanejos and his river in the other side. Then, we all had lunch together. We share some sweets after the meal. That was cool. The descent was very nice, much gentler and between trees and more vegetation. We even saw a couple of mountain goats up close. Impressive! Finally, we enjoyed a coffee (or beer...) together in the town square again. A wonderful day. Whenever I can I will repeat with Dmitry. It shows that he has done great planning and he is an expert hiker.
Hiked with Valencia Mountain Enthusiasts yesterday in Montanejos and had such a great time! The route taken on this hike provided enough challenges to make it memorable but not so difficult where I ever felt in danger. Truly epic. Dmitry, our guide, shepherded the group along and was thoroughly professional and engaging. I met a number of new people that I now consider friends. The group ranged in age from the 20s to the 60s (me) and we all got along famously as we took in the incredible views. A must for anyone who wants to get out of the city and enjoy nature!
This hike was really one I was looking for, nice fast paced hike, def got to test out my fitness, and met amazing people, everyone was super friendly and supportive, we even got to enjoy nice drinks at the bar afterwords, def recommend ;)
We had walked the equivalent of 36 floors and 28,000 steps the day prior, so the word epic did not slow us down; however, it was very high and very exciting. GREAT DAY! I wish that the guide was a bit more communicative, but I think he was quite shy. An overview of the day, expectations, and hints on how not to slip, like turning the foot sideways and ifmoration about the region were all given by fellow travellers or prompted by all of us. STunning views!
Wonderful day in Montanejos with Dmitry! We are certain to make other hikes with him. As usual he is professional, communicates well about the details, is well prepared for the adventure and takes care to make sure everyone is having a great time. Thanks for another great hike!!
Our tour guide Dmitry was very nice and accommodating. We didn't book our trip until last minute and Dmitry communicated with us in a timely manner and made it possible! The hike was not too hard and dipping in the mountain water was refreshing 😃 We created some good memories from this trip!
As always hikes with Valencia Mountain Enthusiasts are very well organised. All information is provided in a timely manner, views are epic, but most of all our guide Dmitry does fantastic job of creating the scenary where you have a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature, even while traveling with a group. 10 out of 10!
Fantastisk smuk tur og super god og venlig guide. Flot natur og vi fik god fortællinger. Turen var til pas lang.
Nice place to cool off, entrance fee is 3.50 euros. On busy days it is difficult to park your car. A bit of swimming and then the beautiful view is in the gorge with a nice niche on the right.
An essential excursion if you like to enjoy a unique natural environment and at the same time spend a day in an active and enjoyable way. Everything was very well organized. The only thing you have to worry about is enjoying the day. It is clear that Dmitry has a lot of experience and guides the group with great security and confidence. Totally recommended.
Unfortunately there were only two of us (young girls) with our guide (man) and it was a somewhat strange situation/atmosphere as no one spoke properly and the conversations ended relatively quickly.
It wasn't a walk. We went on September 30 to the VIII Cheese Fair; It was very well organized and very lively; even with a jazz concert at Villa Purificación.
