Alex was wonderful! Loved the pearls he shared about the city! We were not big eaters and the boys in group preferred beer over wine and he was very accommodating. Thank you Alex!

Rafa was an excellent guide. We were the only people on the tour. Great selection of drinks and food. Also catered for my gluten free needs
Typical spanish food Very good local experience, perfect historical background and actual policy made an extraordinary experience for us.
We were a larger than usual group (10) but Alex managed the tour brilliantly. We had five different stops on the route tasting a variety of tapas and drinks. Alex also told us about some of the history of Valencia and he was happy to answer any questions. A really fun few hours exploring this beautiful city.
We had a wonderful tour with Maria. She was so easy to spend a few hours with. She introduced us to local food, and drinks as well as the history of the area and important local architecture. We would definitely recommend doing this tour.
Delicious tastes with a good sense of Valencia. I highly recommend the tour as we had a lovely experience and enjoyed all the stops. We specially enjoyed learning about vermut and the history of the city.
Alex was an excellent guide who takes you on a very relaxed walk through some cool eateries. Very enjoyable and our group were really nice too.
We had a fantastic day with Alex on our Valencia Food Tour. We were extremely lucky to be the only two people on the tour, so really had a personal experience. Not only was the food and drink delicious, Alex was very knowledgeable about the history of Valencia. Truly worth it!!!!
Alex was a very good and informative host, we learned a lot about Valencia and especially about its cuisine. Foods and drinks were great (well, maybe the quantity could have been a bit better :-)) We did enjoy ourselves. Thanks, Alex!
A few weeks before our trip the guide asked us to change the date to 2 days earlier. We were able to make changes to accommodate that - then a few days before he asked to change the start time to earlier. 11 am seemed early to start eating tapas but we agreed. When we met the group the guide seemed distracted, moved quickly, and was hard to follow through some of the crowded areas. I had to ask him to face the group when he spoke so we could hear him. This should be called an alcohol tour with tapas because he had us starting with a vermouth tasting at 11 am. There was a lot of wine with small portions of tapas. The last stop was a pitcher of Aqua de Valencia which was great, but no food to balance the quantity of alcohol. Overall the guide provided interesting historical. Information and some interesting restaurants for tapas, including the Central Market. The cost seemed high, though, for what we received.
This food tour in Valencia was excellent. The tapas were delicious and the wine/drinks tasted wonderful. Alex, our tour leader, did an amazing job.
A history lesson and tour of the old landmarks were unexpected highlights of this experience. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Alex was very patient with the slow walking pace of our group and gave us plenty of time for taking photos along the way. The culinary offerings were outstanding! Overall this was well worth it! Highly recommend.
Started with alcohol at 1130 (this is not ideal). Food ok, tour underwhelming - little information given or interest shown, a shame when audience all similar age/interests. Disappointed as I’ve previously done similar tours in Lisbon and Malta which were fab. Could have been so much better as great food and history.
We loved our tour with Maria, lots of historical knowledge and the food was fabulous. Some of us do not like fish and she ensured we all were able to get something else to eat. Drinks were super good, 5 drinks in total. Maria was fun and ready for any question you had.
Maria was an excellent guide. She was so kind and full of helpful information. She catered the tour to avoid food allergies and aversions. It felt like a friend was showing us around. Highly recommend!
Disappointed that we did not sample Horchata, despite it being at important drink associated with Valencia, and despite the tour meeting point being outside the Horchatería de Santa Catalina. Instead, we sampled Vermouth, which may be popular in Valencia but surely is more associated with Italy. Also disappointed that there was much explanation about the history of Valencia. Would have expected only explanation about food and drink. Should be called Tapas and History Tour.
We had a great time on our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and dishes we tried, and everything was delicious!
Maria was a great host. We were a small private group - she showed us churches, architecture, and organized tastings in the market (excellent vermouth!) and cute tapas stops along the way. Not too strenuous, wonderful few hours in Valencia.
We had a great experience with just our small group of four! Alex was great showing us around and shared information about the different places we visited! We loved the central market and visited a couple of days later again! We also enjoyed very nice sardines in a small place near the market. We would definitely recommend this tour!
Our guide Alex, delivered a very interesting and well informed tour along with regular stops at various food stalls and bars. There were just two of us on the tour which was also excellent. Great from start to finish and highly recommended.
We highly recommend this tour, our guide Alex was a great host, full of local knowledge & very engaging, we visited the best authentic tapas bars for genuine as iality food & were shown hidden historical sites in the centre of Valencia, thank you Alex for a memorable afternoon in Valencia.
Very good tapas tour. We were a small group, and went to small places that had unique tapas. We had wine at pretty much every place.
We really enjoyed our tour with Alex, very knowledgeable and personal! He was a wonderful host sharing the city's history along with along with great tastings. We liked the fact that each place we stopped at for a tasting came with its history!
Would not have found these amazing places that are unique to Valencia without Alex. He was amazing and very knowledgeable. The history he gave as we walked, which was at a nice pace to enjoy, was insightful. There was a variety of stops which had its own history as well. The Tapas and drinks had uniqueness to the places we were visiting as well as history. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip so far.
Tapas tour very good, plenty of wine tasting and tapas in the market and bars. During the tour he told us about the history of Valencia and pointed out the the historical places. Excellent.
Alex gave an informed as well as a delicious tour. Everyone in our family ages 20-60 enjoyed the experience.
Me and my friend had this tour on the Christmas eve which added great atmosphere and joy. Our guide Maria was a knowledgeable and very nice person who introduced us to some hidden gems that we would never find ourselves. We were lucky to have this tour on our first day, so we used our chances to return again to that places. The tour was a great combination of historical insights like going inside the Silk exchange and trying great local food & vines. Thank you, Maria!
Valentin was a great guide and we were really impressed with the variety of tapas . The restaurants were very authentic with generous quantities and drinks to match .I would highly recommend
We had a wonderful tour with Maria. She is very nice and an excellent guide who knows a lot about Valencia and the art of this city. The food and the wines were great. Maria gave us some tips for sightseeing which we implemented the next day.
We had a wonderful Tapas tour with Maria last night! As we went Maria shared fascinating history of Valencia. She was such a pleasure to spend the evening with. Thank you, Maria, for a lovely time!
Whenever we go away we always book a food and drink tour so that we get to see the City first hand and acquire some knowledge and most importantly see the sites that locals know best. This time didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely guided tour with Maria alongside 2 American couples. Great fun and would highly recommend.
We were a group of 7 peoples. We made three different stops (central market and two tapas restaurant). The food and wine was great, but we didn't get enough explanation about the culture of Valencia and the gastronomy by our guide. We asked questions, but the answers were not detailed If you want to have a lot of information, I don't recommend this tour.
Valentin is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about local history and quite personable. Food and drink were Perfecto!
Our guide Velentin was very friendly and we had very interesting conversations with him. We learned a lot about Valencia and tasted very interesting tapas.
Esther made our visit to Valencia so special!! We learned how Paella was made in the authentic way, how to order tapas, what to order, the marketplace with various items to sample as well as local city sights to see (City Hall, train station, post office) which were stunning!!
Great tapas tour We had an excellent time strolling through the city and visiting all kinds of different local places. The local market was amazing, the food that we had everywhere was even better(the sardines were REALLY good!) and we even got the expensive Pata negra ham. Also, we got to see the city and its culture from a local perspective, which was great. Very recommendable!
What a great experience we had. We were a group of 5 people and the guide asked us what we liked. He adapted to our preferences and showed us really good stuff, made us taste great (local!) food and even things we never heard of before! We had lots of food tastings and quite a lot of drinks as well. The wine in the end was amazing. Thanks a lot for this fantastic afternoon!
Me and my family decided to take the Luxury Tapas tour and we were far from dissapointed! We made a lot of different stops at all great local food places where there were 0 to very few tourists, exactly what we were looking for! The food was great, the places were all unique and it was just a very very pleasant and fun experience for the whole family!! Can recommend it to anyone that is into food experiences!!
This was one of the best thing that i have done in the town. I had so much fun. The stuff was so kind and helpful. And i met other people in the tour. I reakly had an amazing day. Thank you all!!!
The tour was absolutely amazing. I got to see a lot of places I wouldn't have seen if I had just visited the city without this tour. The food was great and the tour guides had a lot of knowledge and extra tips to help you enjoy the city even more. This tour highly recommended if you plan to visit Valencia.
Fantastic tour with Valencia's best guide, Maria. Maria, thank you for the wonderful experience and enthusiasm.
Wir haben es sehr genossen. Das Essen und die Getränke waren top.Unser Guide(Valentin) hat seinen Job sehr gut gemacht!Vielen Dank
Unique places in Valencia! Super good food. Valentin is a very discreet, friendly guide. This tapas tour is worth it!
Very nice tour with tasty snacks. Gained a lot of knowledge about the history of the city and discovered nice authentic places to eat deliciously. Thank you Valentin for the nice afternoon and your flexibility and creativity when it turned out that the planned restaurant was closed.
Taken this tour with my girlfriend. Seen very nice places, and ate things that you would otherwise never order quickly. Fine drink also, all in all very nice guide, which we had to force a little to drink with...
In May we celebrated our birthdays with a few days in Valencia. Because we are hobby chefs ourselves, we wanted a tour with the focus on ..food! And then not along the tourist pens you find everywhere, but nice authentic Valencian occasions. A tour by a local was perfect for us. The guide asked us beforehand if we wanted to have other information about the city, and on our "yes" he immediately adjusted his tour and we got one great tour where culinary delight was interspersed with historical info. Because you are not part of a larger group, but the whole thing is tailored to you, you can determine the speed and the topics. It was super, and we recommend everyone to do such a tour when you are in Valencia.
