Amazing day, we weren’t necessarily sure how it was going to go but our tour guide Iara was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our time. I feel we got to do and see so many spots, with just enough time for each spot. The bus was a very comfortable spot in between locations. Highly recommend! Bring warmer clothing for after the waterfall as it can be colder.

Be sure to walk around and actively search for the bus picking you up. The pickup spot is at a very busy area with multiple unmarked buses and mini-buses, and it is not possible to tell which is the one you want. If you don't find the right bus, it leaves without you and you get no refund (I found our the hard way).
Tour guide never showed up at pickup spot, waited 40 min with 2 other people. Then was declined a refund
Could not recommend this experience enough! Had an absolutely unforgettable day with Alejandro and the Hola Trip team. I took the hiking option. Absolutely amazing views of the landscape and a super interesting trip into the caves. Alejandro had some great facts, stories and jokes along the way. After a challenging hike we had a chance to take pictures at some fantastic view points then finishing off in the hot springs. A truly unforgettable day! 10/10 would recommend to a friend 🫶🏻
It was so good! Paco was so kind and funny. He was also very knowledgeable about every spot we went to
Great hike to Montanejos and thermal pools were gorgeous. Guides Alejandro and Arturo were amazing with high energy, good knowledge, perfect attitudes, and funny jokes. There was nothing they could have done better.
Fun experience and a friendly guide. Definitely worth the trip!
This isn’t your walk in the park, at times it is slippery and steep, if you like that sort of thing then this is for you. My friend and I went with a group of ppl and many of us slipped and/or got injured due to being unprepared. Make sure to have hiking or grippy shoes, a flashlight (since you may go cave exploring), water, snacks (there are some shops along the way), water shoes (for rocks at thermal pool), bathing suit, and towel to dry off. The thermal pools were crowded and the water was cold which was unexpected (there were some pockets of warm water). The views were great and we meet some cool ppl too. Not sure if I’d do this again but i recommend to try this at least once!
We booked a full-day excursion from Valencia that combined kayaking with a visit to the thermal pools. The coach pick-up point was about a 20-minute walk from Valencia city centre, near Colón metro station. The journey to the excursion area took approximately 90 minutes by coach. The coach was comfortable but nearly full, with very few empty seats on our trip. After arriving, we took a short minibus transfer to the lake for the kayaking portion. The kayaking was the highlight of the excursion. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and well organized. Our guide gave us a clear safety briefing, answered our questions, shared some of the lake’s history, and even provided a complimentary waterproof phone case. She struck a good balance between guiding the group and giving us time to enjoy the surroundings independently. The kayaking lasted around two hours and proceeded at a relaxed pace, so it was not overly strenuous. We visited two main locations, with opportunities to swim and jump from a low rock ledge. The water was cold during our visit but still refreshing. The thermal pools are also a lovely place, but there is one important tip: move away from the busy main area near the entrance. That section was noisy and crowded during our Saturday visit, which initially made the pools seem underwhelming. Walking farther along the path led us to quieter, cleaner areas with more room to swim, relax, and appreciate the surroundings. Exploring beyond the main pool is what makes this part of the trip genuinely enjoyable. Bring plenty of sunscreen, drinking water, a hat, protective water shoes, a large towel, and some snacks. There was nowhere to buy water during the kayaking portion. Goggles were not particularly useful because the water was too deep to see much. Overall, this was a very enjoyable excursion. The kayaking was excellent, and the thermal pools were well worth visiting once we moved beyond the crowded main area.
We did the hike, it was quite difficult hike, yet made the dip in the water something to look forward to. Having water shoes is a plus, as the spring floor is shallow and rocky. The bus (transport) situation was little chaotic, with leaving valuables or having to hike with them. Packing light would be highly recommended.
The activity itself is amazing and worth the visit. My review is based on my experience with this tour. Arrival/ checkin: chaotic and not much communication. We waited 20 min and then I had to ask several guides what we are waiting for and what bus is ours. A simple ticketscan and/or assigning people to their busnumber would really help. We booked the relax tour with surprise stop and no hike. Visiting Montanejos 15 min and le banos. The Montanejos visit was nice but it was an intensive mountain climb hike upstairs and down. View was nice but it was a commercial stop to buy drinks on top of the mountain at a bar. We arrived at the thermalwaters 3 hours from pickup at 11:30 and stayed there untill 15:10. It was quite long and I would suggest bringing your own food. There is 1 cafe there but not that great and pricy. The surprise stop was the waterfall visit. But having 1 hour there is really too short. I would suggest less time at the thermalbaths and more time at the waterfall. The host self Arturo is kind and funny. Would recommend this tour but better communication what to expect would make it way better.
This is such a great experience for all ages , the rafting was brilliant and lots of laughs , the scenery amazing and guide Iara was very helpful - highly recommend doing this tour when in Valencia
Really lovely swimming after a steep hike. The waterfall was simply amazing. Tao was such a wonderful guide.
We had such a great time doing the beautiful hike and loved visiting the swimming hole! My only wish was that we would’ve had a bit longer to enjoy the water after the hike.
Rafting was much fun and we had a great guide, Carlos, taking good care of us in the boat. The springs were quite refreshing afterwards.
The mineral pools were amazing, the hike was beautiful- The driver was useless- when I got there I asked if this was the tour bus and he said no and closed the door. The tour guide showed up and it was the correct bus. When they dropped us off they had said there would be two stops, but only stopped once. A few people (including myself) were not dropped at the original location. The driver didn't know we were on the bus- when we went and asked where we were going he became upset with us and kicked us off the bus. We had to find our way back- a 45 minute city bus ride 🙄 The day was rushed- not much time for pictures and things but overall I am glad we experienced the hike and mineral waters. We went to a waterfall on the way back- I would have preferred to skip the waterfall - just to relax a little more on the hike and get back to the city earlier. I would recommend to a friend, but warn them about these few things just because I like hiking and swimming so much.
Tao y Juanse were incredible!!! We got to learn so much history and see so many cool spots. They gave us more than enough time to take photos at the sites and try new things. Tao was a great motivator and encouraged us to get out of our comfort zones, forever thankful. Give that, I would say the hike itself could be considered beginner friendly but once you arrive to the river, you should be prepared to swim and hold yourself up for quite some time. The water gets quite deep at some portions so be mindful of that.
We booked this not expecting much besides the pools to swim in. We were so pleasantly surprised that it was so much more. Tau was an excellent guide and if possible you should have him. He took us to the coolest spots that no other group was going to. 100/10 experience. We were all over the moon with the trip.
"It was a fantastic day thanks to our tour guides! Their funny, kind, and entertaining style made this already fabulous trip truly unforgettable. Thanks, guys!"
This tour was not at all what I was expecting. Please be warned - the “thermal pools” are a constant 25° Celsius/ 77°F, but I didn’t know that until we arrived to the “thermal pools”. Per google, “A thermal pool is a pool filled with naturally warm or hot water, typically heated by the Earth's geothermal activity. These waters are usually rich in dissolved minerals (such as sulfur, calcium, and lithium) and are highly valued for hydrotherapy, muscle relaxation, and stress”. There was absolutely no hot or warm water in this place, and I’m not sure 25/77 is considered warm or hot to anyone. The rafting was uneventful as the water level was low, and we had to get out several times and jump back into the very frigid water (much colder than the 25 down below) to avoid bottoming out the rafts. We did get a couple of white water areas but the rest was rock or cliff jumping to get back in the boat. My feet were numb from being so cold and jumping in the water was absolutely frigid, making normally a strong swimmer difficult to swim. This wasn’t at all what I expected from the description.
Experience wa amazing, breathtaking and fun. However, they did told us not to take our cameras. They will do the videos and images and send it to us by the end of the day. It’s never happened. Extremely disappointed in this. All the memories are gone.
The thermal pools are amazingly clean, clear and spacious. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. The trails are well laid out and mostly level. We had a great time.
Barbara is very kind and details caring gide. The hike was moderate in a good tempo. It will be good if there is more time around the thermal pool after the hike. Thanks! 🙏
The whole day was amazing, we did rafting with my friends, the instructors were very clear with what you needed to do, were super friendly and we enjoyed jumping off the rocks into the water. Also we got a small album with pics and videos that took during the activity. I recommend ++++ 🌞
The tour bus left as we were walking up at exactly 854am. Despite this setback, once contacted, the guides had the bus wait ten minutes for us to catch up and board. For constructive feedback, I would recommend that the guides (Arturo, Barbara, and Raoud(?) better separate joking from formal communication about the planning for the trip. We did not know Barbara was a guide until she started chatting with us at the back of the group. We also did not know there would be some hiking required before the thermal pools (which was separate from the main advertised hiking). Despite these communication challenges the guides were pleasant and friendly. It did not feel like the tour was being led by adults and I would not recommend this trip to others
Tour guide was a nice guy, but had poor English.
I really enjoyed the day trip. The hike was about 2.5 hours with a very interesting stop at the black cave. There were also some nice viewpoints all along the way. It is not an easy hike but not a very hard one either. Especially when inside the cave, one should be sure-footed to navigate inside. The swim in the thermal pools was also very nice. It is actually cold water most of the time, but it was fine after the first couple of minutes. Also, you don't really need water shoes, I could manage without them. I think the tour is very fairly priced and I would highly recommend it. My one minor criticism would be the group size. We were quite a large group and only one guide was with us most of the journey. He was giving some explanations along the route which were impossible to hear if you weren't directly in the front. Also, communicating the plan and where we were going next could have been a bit better. The guide would start explaining before all the tour participants were around to hear him. They relied mostly on a Whatsapp group, but maybe I just prefer a more personal touch. Our guide's English also wasn't the best. I think if they simply have more guides accompany the group this could easily be improved.
Lovely spot! I went with my friend who knew already she didn't want to go on the hike. I really wanted to go but unfortunately my thighs were chafing something awful so I just went straight to the springs. Beware - they are NOT hot, not even warm. There were some warm SPOTS if you swam into the canyon area but we were QUITE chilly. I would have tried to get to Montanejos without the tour group but I didn't want to figure out the transportation. Arturo and Kate were lovely guides and Arturo made us all laugh so much! Make sure to bring TOILET PAPER as the first bathroom stop does not have any!!
The trip was very well planned, with an enthusiastic guide, Arturo. The hike was great, and to my surprise, he even took us on a walk through the most amazing cave. His friendliness, knowledge, and never-ending kindness shone through the entire day. The thermal waters are in such a beautiful location that it’s difficult to describe in words. Thank you for an amazing day out!
Great day spent in the nature- the guide Taoufik was amazing and funny! Bus was punctual and communication was easy. Recommended xx
This trip was well organised, Tofiq our guide was knowlegable but also had a sense of humour. Would advise a hoody for the bus as the air conditiining was very powerful
The is a challenging. but scenic hike with friendly staff. We saw mountain goats, waterfalls and a cave. The pools were a little chilly, but it is fall.
Our friendly guides took us on a surprisingly rigorous uphill hike and caving adventure before trekking down to the natural pools. Although the pools were warm at best, it was refreshing to swim (especially around the corner!) after working up a sweat! Some lovely wilderness views. 💚
I chose the river rafting experience and it was incredibly exciting and full of fun. I never felt unsafe and the guide was great!! the scenery was very picturesque and the mineral springs were nice and the tour guide was wonderful
The tour is ok but the pools aren’t really warm! So I don’t think it’s worth going. The water is around 18-20 Celsius so for me it was a disappointment.
"I highly recommend this hike. The uphill sections were a bit challenging, but once we reached higher ground it became much more manageable. The views along the way were absolutely stunning. The swim afterwards was very refreshing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the coach was very comfortable, making the whole experience even more enjoyable."
We did the kayaking which was good but the pools afterwards were nothing like the pictures. Very poor.
Absolutely loved hiking in Spain! The landscapes were breathtaking and the whole trip was really well put together. The guides were incredibly friendly and made the experience fun.
Such a fun experience! I went solo and easily met new people. I’d definitely recommend doing the hike before the pools, it’s so worth it!
Arturo was an excellent host for our group and we appreciated his knowledge and funny personality! We have already recommended the tour with him to friends in town and will gladly do another tour next time we are in town. Thank you so much for everything!
Our guides - Evelyn and Arturo - were absolutely amazing - so friendly, welcoming and fun. They gave us lots of options during the day and were full of advice on how to make the most of the experience - we would recommend Hola for all your trips!! Thank you 🤩
We went on a hike to see “La cueva negra” and then went to “La fuente de los baños” en Montanejos. It was very fun. It did rain when we go to the hot springs which was disappointing but luckily we were able to swim for a little while after it stopped raining.
Fantastic!! The guides, especially Arturo is very funny, very helpful and very considerate. Thanks to the guide Filip we were able to explore waterfall cave and jump from cliff. very nice
We had so much fun hiking and enjoying the cold, refreshing water after! The views were absolutelt stunning. On our way back, guides took us to a secret lake with clear blue water, which was nice. The guides were very positive and energetic. If you wish to go on a hike, be mindful of the weather – it was VERY hot on our trip.
Excellent activity and really well looked after by staff who explained everything very well. Quite an adventure in places. Really enjoyed it.
The hike wasn’t so strenuous which considering how warm it was - was totally fine. The springs were a bit cloudy so they took us to a crystal clear lake. We had a beautiful refreshing swim there.
Well communicated and good service all round. The guides were fun and professional. We did the hike which was great and enjoyed the views and exploring the environment. The only slight drawback was the group was a little big and the lakes a little busy. Still worthwhile though.
Alejandro was brilliant. Lovely hike to the caves with a perfect swim in the spring to finish the day.
Perfection. Definitely worth the windy drive up the mountains. We went early and it wasn't crowded. The water is crystal clear.
This is a very intense hike. It's narrow sheep trails across 4 hours of steep and unforgiving terrain over a mountain that was hot, slippery with slate and bumpy with rocks. Very dry area until the pools. Which were nice but I'd not do this again. The hosts were nice and caring but constantly said this was moderate. It is not moderate. It's hard.
