The trip is definitely a must to do while visiting Valencia. Our guide was very kind & friendly. Well worth it & it helped we had fabulous weather.
Mustafa was a really good guide and even dropped us near our hotel at the end of the tour. Communication was good throughout and we were lucky to see a beautiful sunset on the lake and enjoy delicious paella afterwards. Thank you to all involved.
A wonderful experience. The sunset boat ride was beautiful, and the paella was delicious. Our guides were friendly and informative, making it a relaxing and memorable evening. Highly recommend!
The paella was delicious and the sunset was fantastic.
The sunset was beautiful, and we had a great day to see it, the meal was fantastic, too, I highly recommend it.
Our guide Mustafa was a fun person and we enjoyed his presence, courtesy and knowledge. This experience was a blast and is a must if you are around Valencia for few days. Perfect sunset, beautiful sights and great dinner.
An absolutely fantastic tour I loved it. The paella was delicious, and there was plenty left over, they served a huge amount. I highly recommend it.
Since the locals claim that Paella originated in Albufera village,I was very excited to try it and chose a seafood Paella for dinner that was included with the tour. What was served to us in the end was a Paella almost entirely deprived of any seafood, except for a few shrimps on the top for the optics! I know what a good seafood Paella looks like and what ingredients go in it, and this was a far cry from that. It should be loaded with all sorts of seafood as the name implies, and this was very cheap and scaled down tourist version of that. What followed as a dessert was a small slice of cheap ice cream from the store, which quite frankly ruined the whole experience. If you’re a foodie this isn’t the tour for you! I would not recommend this experience!
It was a very good experience. The local boat man was friendly and knowledgeable and spoke English. Our guide was helpful and friendly and the group got on well. Our sunsets at home are better (thanks to South Wales smog!!!! Just joking!!!) but that's the weather. Food was good and an all round great experience.
Saw the eclipse through this tour, but enjoyed the additional information and experience. Overall, would recommend as a tour visit to enjoy the sunset on the lake. The guides were responsive answering questions and organized with the planning.
Mustafa was a wonderful guide for our Albufera boat ride and paella in El Palmar. He even went out of his way to give me -- literally -- the shoe off his foot when my sandal broke, and he drove us directly to the hotel after so I wouldn't have to hobble home one footed. The ride was smooth and beautiful, and we learned a lot from him and the other guides -- a really wonderful experience!
Beautiful Sunset and a really excellent spanish seafood paella along with starter fessert and coffee
Well organized, our tour guide was great with communication throughout the trip . The place is worth to visit!!
Great opportunity to see a quieter side of Valencia and learn history. Lots of birds. Beautiful sunset. Authentic paella. Meet up spot was easy. Very friendly guide! Highly recommend sunset tour.
We had a wonderful experience. Our guides, Daniel and Benjamin were kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. The boat ride was breathtaking with sittings of ibis, flamingos, and jumping fish alongside the glorious and peaceful sunset on the lake. Highly recommend.
This was a bit of a disappointment. Our guide Daniel was very pleasant and a plus. But apparently he is limited by the rules regarding what he can say in the town of Albufero as well as on the boat ride, which was odd. The boat ride was pleasant but less diverse in bird species than I had expected. I saw one heron, lots of?swallows? and ibises ( which look just like cormorants) and way, way, WAY in the distance what were said to be flamingos (which would have been neat if they were closer but basically were a haze in the distance. The boat guide was hard to understand in English- spoke very quickly in Spanish and English. The sunset was said to be the perfect sunset- clear sky- but I was not impressed. I have seen alot more dramatic water sunsets. We were in a string of tourist boats that went out together then separated once on the lake. The paella meal was fine. I would say YMMV- this will be a roll of the dice depending on the weather, time of year, and whether more interesting birds show up for you. Could be mosquitoes also- was too early in the year fortunately on our trip but definitely something to check out whether to bring bug spray
Fantastic tour, I really enjoyed the tour and the guide's explanations.
We were treated to a warm welcome by Kiki and Daniel. This was followed by a pleasant drive through the Valencian countryside, a walk through a very quaint town, a boat ride featuring a gorgeous sunset, followed by a delicious meal. The experience was made most memorable by the congenial atmosphere and many nationalities present on the excursion.
We really enjoyed this trip. Meet up was easy, easy drive, really enjoyed our tour guide. She put our whole group at ease and it felt like we’d made friends by the end of the night!
Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend! You won’t see anything else like this. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and your guides were wonderful. Kids enjoyed it too.
Miguel was wonderful. Very well coordinated. The boat ride and sunset was beautiful and lots of fun. The seafood paella was excellent. Our young daughter had a blast and so did we. Highly recommended.
A great tour, even without the sunset. In a beautiful evening atmosphere and with very good tour guidance/Laura and catering. Great
I liked it a lot, I loved it a lot, the guide is a nice, friendly guy, and always attentive, thank you very much to the guide Mustafa.
Spectacular experience, very well organized, special mention to Mustafa who adapted to our needs and answered the group's questions in different languages; his warm attention is worth noting, highly recommended.
I did this experience with my daughter and it was truly beautiful and stimulating. Everything concluded with a spectacular seafood paella. I highly recommend it 🔝
I enjoyed the experience in Albufera very much. The walk was very peaceful, with beautiful landscapes and a spectacular sunset that made the moment even more special. Additionally, the atmosphere and service were excellent. Without a doubt, it is a perfect place to relax and connect with nature. Totally recommended!
Highly advisable; the guide was super friendly, and the walk was spectacular. I would do it again.
Exceptional place and excellent service
My wife and I were there, and the truth is that we were very satisfied, from the very first minute until the end. I recommend it.
The trip was wonderful, with ideal weather to see a stunning sunset and excellent seafood paella at Canyamel Restaurant. The personal service from the guides made our experience unforgettable.
Incredible experience and highly recommended.
We tell you 4 hours of excursions, in fact, after the 30 min of minibus, we arrive at the small village of Albufera, where we offer you a visit of a block without any interest... Then, an absolutely incomprehensible and uninteresting explanation by the captain of the boat in a room in front of a map of the lake, not to mention the big sign indicating the price of the boat trip: 7€ !!!! Finally comes the boat ride, to 32 people in a boat...so very tight... We sail 20 min in the marshes, then the boat stops at the exit of the marshes for 20 min to observe the sunset. Then return to the place of departure... The highlight of the show is the Valencian paella... in a restaurant overlooking a parking lot. Paella very hearty in rice, but only one little piece of chicken... not seen the rabbit, not smelled the spices... fortunately there was sangria .... The only positive thing is this excursion which costs the modest sum of 75 €: the kindness and availability of the two guides!!! Thank you to them and courage!!!
Nice experience even out of season, we found a wonderful day enjoyed a 'great paella de marisco
