In addition to these gardens, we will have other stops along the way that include hidden alleys, unique street corners, and special viewpoints of Valencia that only locals know. One highlight is a brief "Art of Observation" exercise during which I will teach you the basics of how to improve your observation skills which is absolutely essential for photography.
Time flies by if you walk around with Max. He is a really nice person and knows the city of Valencia quite well. Depending on what you want to learn/shoot during the tour, he adapts the tour accordingly. We had a call prior to our tour to align on this. You will definately learn something new and benefit from his knowledge.
Max’s photography tour was great! He reached out ahead of time to learn more about what I was hoping to learn and what my experience level was, and the locations he selected were beautiful! Overall this tour was great, and I feel like I learned a ton about improving my travel photos. Max has also been accessible after the course for any follow up questions or questions about cameras, etc. It was a fun and different way to explore Valencia. I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about photography!
Max was an experienced photographer and wanted to improve the skill set of any person that went on his tour. Rather than take a lot of photos he concentrated on observation and different techniques to improve one's photography. He is very patient and allows time to impart his knowledge I thoroughly enjoyed both the trip and consequent conversations

We did a really interesting photography workshop with Max; we learned some of the essentials of good photography, and did some assignments to practise, which was very useful. And we also had a great time: Max is a very nice chap, relaxed, and time flies by... and we went for a drink afterwards, so really a perfect morning. Highly recommended!

While I came for the photography, I left with something even better. A deep appreciation for Valencia and some of its more hidden places. Max is a great tour guide and teacher and an even better guy. Traveling is about meeting new people, and learning about new cultures and places and Max was the ultimate tour guide. I highly recommend this experience. Max is friendly, super personable, and full of interesting & funny anecdotes, from both his life's adventures, and that of Valencia. I've lived in Valencia for almost 2 years, but decided to join the tour, as I've been meaning to explore a bit more. The tour definitely didn't disappoint, and took us around some hidden gems I had no idea existed! We took the tour on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Max is an excellent and open-minded guy that took us to the hidden places of Valencia. He introduced us to the basics of photography and walked to spots for taking pictures of authentic Valencia around the city center. It was really an enjoyable and charming afternoon with a small group. We very much liked it.
