On the 4th day of our stay in Valencia we booked the 3 hour biketour with a dutch guide, Anouk. She was a terrific guide throughout the city and we still discovered some places where we didn't go the last few days. The adress to eat paella was bull's eye! We enjoyed a nice Seafood Paella dish at El Trompo at the beach. That was a nice culinary end of our citytrip!
great to rant a bike in valencia to travel , lots of bike lanes and lirs of fun riding bike in the turia park, valencia bikes are in good condition and ride really smooth plus they give you all kind of advice on what to visit
Nicolas was a very knowledgable guide. Bike path are well developed, the river bed was beautiful. Easy ride, decent bikes
Friendly, quick service convenient to the Turia river bed park. My wife did not get a key for the included lock. The key was supposed to be hanging from the handlebars, but it wasn't there. They wanted to charge us 12 euros for the missing key. We settled on 6 euros. The guy who supposedly gave my wife the key made himself scarce, which made me suspect a scam and ruined a 5-star experience.
Hadn’t ridden a bike for years but hired very well maintained bikes adjusted for size Include bike lock and helmets Great location next to Jardin Turia which has cycle tracks for miles to City of Arts and Sciences and to beach. We never went on a road. Hadn’t realised shop shut at 18.00 which was a bit early though the staff called us and then waited for us to get back . They were very pleasant about it. Highly recommend
Very nice tour, to get to know Valencia. Mark was our friendly and well informed guide 😃😃. Good thing to start your citytrip !!!
It was amazing good and really nice. Good guide who knew a lot of the city. Some moments could be longer, so you had more time to take pictures.
It was a great tour by bike! Thanks to Arjo, he told great stories and amazing facts. Thanks for the tour, we enjoyed it a lot!
It was fantastic! Through the gardens of Turia, riding along side the Torres of Serranos, passing the beautiul buildings of Calatrava, visiting the centre of Valencia, etc. etc. For me this was one of the highlights during my holiday!
The good was a decent tour led by our very good guide Mar. The not so good was communication with the tour operator, Valencia Bikes, which was apparently due to who I booked my tour through, which is viator.com. I sent two messages that were not answered regarding if there was an upgrade cost to an E bike, and if so, what that was. I didn’t get a response, and so was unable to change my plans when I found out that the upgrade cost was €20, higher than its competitors, and much higher than I’ve seen in other cities. The staff was quite professional, however, completely unwilling to compromise on what I felt was a bad situation. So, note that there is a €20 upgrade cost for an E bike, that water is not provided as is mentioned in the website, and bike helmets are not provided either, which isn’t mentioned. However, nobody in the city riding a bike seems to wear a helmet, but only scooter riders. BTW, I regretted spending the extra €20 each for the electric bike. It really is flat and not nearly as arduous as my last tour, and I could have gotten by without the power boost!
We had a great on this bike ride in Valencia. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city's history, etc. We took this tour on our first day; it was the perfect introduction!
Great way to see and learn a little about Valencia . Would recommend to a friend. Beautiful park and sites with knowledgeable and friendly guide.
The cycle tour with host Arjo was fascinating, because he told a lot about the history of the places we visit.
Very nice tour. With lots of explaining and site seeing. En very nice tourgide his dutch was great
We loved this 3 hours tour of Valencia in English. It was only the 4 of us and we started in time. We saw all important parts of Valencia, had lots of fun and a very knowledgeable guide. Unfortunately, I have forgotten her name. Something like Sonja.
Price is very affordable. i've rented a bike for 6 days, for long rides (did 360 km in total). The first day, I come back to them with pain everywhere; I wasn't used anymore to "city bikes". They switched the bike for me, with no problems, and the second one was much, much better. That way, I could continue to explorer the surroundings of Valencia. Thank you very much!
We hired bikes a couple of times to explore Valencia. The team were professional, helpful and spoke good English . The bikes were great to ride and good value for money. It’s a ‘must do’ in Valencia. The park area is safe to ride and we cycled all the way to the beach one day and visited the Aquarium on another. You are provided with locks so you can leave your bike safely in most places. Totally recommend.
We had a fantastic guide, Nina, who very knowledgeable on Valencia’s history and equally competent bike tour guide navigating the city streets and green corridor.
We really enjoyed the 3 hour bike ride. Bas was a very nice guy telling us nice stories about the city and the buildings.
Personnel was very nice! We rented an hour short but did not have to pay extra because we loved it so much. They speak perfect English as well. Would recommend it to everyone! Keep up the good work!
We took the 3 hour bike tour through the city in the morning of our first day (11.00-14.00) and it was very helpful to get a first look at all the things you could do and see in Valencia. It's also a great start to help you orientate and estimate walking and biking distance between the key tourist attractions. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the bikes and firm locks that come with it are easy to handle. Furthermore, the bikes have a handy basket in which you can place your bag or rucksack. After the tour you feel like you definitely get the hang of biking in Valencia so you're confident enough to go on a trip on your own (we also rented a bike the next day for a trip to the coast). The prices are fair and the location right next to the Turia is excellent: you can immediately start biking!
Lovely and convenient shop. Great location opposite the park surrounding the city Staff super helpful with the bikes Great pricing with features like puncture insurance coverage and bike locks with keys. Good value
Great quality bikes. We saw so much in one day! Staff were quick, informative and efficient. Location is right on beautiful path of Valencia.
We rented 3 electric bikes. But they where very old and made noise during biking. After short stop we where not able to activate the battery( it seems there is a extra botton on the battery, but no one told us) They advised us to use low acceleration to save battery, but bikes not easy to ride below 4. At shop they did not give any refund for the discomfort of the old bikes.( with old batteries for longer bike tours)
Fun bike tour through the city and park. Our tour guide, Amanda, was great, super informative and accommodating. She provided great recommendations for the rest of our trip. While we did stop for refreshments halfway through the tour, I still recommend bringing your own water as there weren’t many public water stations around.
We booked up front for the private tour in Valencia. We had an excellent and friendly guide in Dutch. He took the time to explain some history and other information about Valencia which was really helpful. The bikes were also very good. I would recommend them for bike tours!
We rented bikes and went out to discover Valencia by bike. We cycled trough the gardens Turia all the way to the beach. Although we received a map with al the bike-lanes on it, a bit more explaining about where you can ride your bike in Valencia would be nice. It was a great experience! The bikes functioned as one could be expected, fine.
Rented 2 bikes from Valencia Bikes for 6 hours. Booked up front on their website, which was very simple. When we arrived at their shop we were quickly served and were on our way within 10 minutes. Bikes in good condition and come with a solid lock. We added the breakdown insurance for 1€, was well worthwhile as we got a flat on one of our bikes, quick call to the shop and within minutes a replacement bike was on its way to us with a Taxi, throughout the wait we were kept up to date via WhatsApp. Great friendly customer service throughout the experience, would thoroughly recommend them .
Valencia Bikes are brilliant - right from the initial booking online (simplicity itself) to the friendly confirmation from Jorge and reminder the day before, and telling us what to bring for the enjoyment of the ride. Our guide was superb, Sonia was not only very well informed, you could tell she really enjoyed her role - she was informative, funny, witty and a generally all round genuine person. There were only 3 of us in the tour, so it felt very special to have almost one on one attention. Well done Sonia and Jorge, you are a credit to Valencia Bike Tours
Staff there is amazing, they were kind and helpfull. Even though we weren’t able to return bikes on time, since we went to ( according to google maps “short” trip) el palmar, they offered us a number of solutions how to solve our situation. Prices were good and fair (no hidden fees and small letters). Overall this is a great and forthcoming company and we deffinitely recommend renting through them.
Excellent tour by Ezra! Good humour, great knowledge of the city, good speed but continuously looking out for everyone’s personal abilities. I highly recommend this tour for it’s high quality bicycles and tourguides!
Fun bike tour! The weather was great, the guide nice and informed! Experiencing Valencia by bike is a great way to get to known the city. Only (but major!) objection I have is the recommendiation and promotion of places as zoos and the aquarium. It is well know by now these animals suffer. What a shame..
My friend and I booked a biketour by Valencia Bikes last week during our 5-day citytrip to Valencia. We come from the Netherlands and we could book a tour by a Dutch speaking guide. It was honestly a really good decision to book this tour, especially because we participated on our second day in town. We biked all through the Turia, saw parts of the historical centre and even visited the Culture and Arts Centre. After the tour we had a better view of the city and knew witch places we would like to visit in the upcoming days. The guide was so well informed and told every story in a humorous way. Thanks Machiel (guide) and the rest of the Valencia Bikes Team! We 100% recommend this experience!
Very friendly staff who appreciated our poor attempts at Spanish but were more than happy to talk us through in English and give us an English contract! Great value for money, would highly recommend.
I loved renting a bike with Valencia bikes. Was our second day in Valencia and we rode the bikes through the park to the beach. On our way back the bike pedal on my bike broke but I paid for insurance(1€ totally worth it) and they sent a taxi to pick up the bike and sent the taxi back to me with a new bike. All resolved within 20 min(we weren’t super far away from the shop) and I just had to wait next to a cafe. Great experience! Staff are very nice!
Very nice staff and the bikes are just good. We took the option with a chair for babies and it was just great.
We took two bikes out for a day and had no problems. The guy was friendly and his English was very good. We thought that the price was reasonable and the breakdown insurance at 2Euro was a good value.
Nice tour with very good Dutch guide Femke. Good start of our city trip to Valencia. Bikes were fine too.
Derek was our great cycling guide. The 3 hour dutch cycling tour in Valencia was great. Nice place to Be. Derek told us nice things about Valencia. Started in The Turia en ended in The old town.
Femke was our great cycling guide through Valencia. She showed us the important sights of the city, while keeping us al safe and sound. She ensured we all stayed together all the time and we even had time for a short break with a drink in the sun. Highly recommended!
They were so rude!!! They was acting like they are the only one around here. First when we came no one was there for abou 20min an then came and didnt even apologize they were bery rude i wanted to check the prices and the lady jelled at me i shouldn't be turning around the price menu in the very ugly manner than i asked a guy that worked there someting ad he WAS TALKING ON PHONE AND SAID SHHHH!!! omg i think this is the most terrible rental bikes ever when we took bikes from them (unfortunately) a tire didn't worked well. Then i returned and they said that there are no more bikes and to PAY for it. Omg then we went to 2 route rental and it was GREAT!!!
Top guide Carla, wonderful ride!
Good bike ride. The guide knew a lot to tell us. Just a shame we saw the city ring. We would have liked it if you'd gone into town a little more.
Nice interesting bike ride.
Perfect guide. Did a lot of fun with kids too. Safe, good service and informative very good
I'm giving this bike tour a big F. We got this tour with our Tui booking extra paid for electric bikes. The bike tour only lasted 2 hours and skipped the fun tourist things. Our Dutch guide Angela cycled a lot and barely looked back so we lost 4 people. She went to look back but shrugged her shoulders and cycled hard to stay within 2 hours without the other 4. The other day we rented bikes ourselves and cycled to the things we wanted to see that normally comes with a bike tour My recommendation book a bike tour with another person like baja bikes or hotspotvalencia
We rented 2 bikes (1 with a child seat and helmet) at the total price of 30€ for 4 hours. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, bikes maintained well and working. I recommend it
Very nice tour with a super guide! Learned a lot about Valencia! Highly recommended!! You should definitely do this when you are in Valencia!!
Super nice bike tour. With a nice guide. Definitely recommended. You can easily get anywhere by bike and you get fun and interesting information everywhere.
