City Of Arts And Sciences Private Segway Tour

An excellent tour through the old town, then down into the Túria gardens and onwards to the city of arts and sciences. Simon (our guide) was excellent, taking the time to point sights out to us and explain the history of the town. Before the trip, my wife had been quite nervous about using a Segway for the first time, but Simon and his colleagues were really supportive and encouraging and she mastered it in no time. I would happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Valencia. It was the perfect way to see the gardens and city of arts and sciences - and the most memorable experience from our time in Valencia.

One of the most impressive modern complexes I’ve seen in Europe. The architecture is spectacular: those white, futuristic buildings, the pools of water - you can easily spend hours just walking around. But the distances are bigger than they look, so be ready for a lot of walking, and in the middle of the day there isn’t much shade . The tickets for the attractions quite expensive, especially if you want to do more than one.

The Segway tour was a fun and quick way to get around Valencia. Santiago was fun and informative. Highly recommend this Segway tour.

We never used a Segway. Before you do your TRIP, you get a little practice run close to your departure. The tour guide checks if everyone can safely drive the Segway before starting the tour. (should take you 5 mins to learn). You start off a little in the city and go then on a bike route towards city of art. During your trip you stop a few times for some guide action. Eugene, our funny guide did not disappoint! The Segway tour is really fun, we had someone less comfortable with the Segway and the guide makes sure to help the people in certain areas to get you safe over obstacles. As for usual, we as Belgium people, attract unlucky moments.. So I had a flat tire. Sht happens.. Eugene was quick to call someone up for a reserve Segway to continue our tour. This didn't stop us from having a super great time, meanwhile waiting for the reserve we could cruise around a place to enjoy our Segway. Im glad I did it, cause now I would do such tours in other cities aswell! -YR

Fabulous tour, beautiful & informative. Our guide, Clemencia, was superb. We benefitted from her expert Architectural background and in-depth local knowledge. Clemencia took proper time to get all of us familiar with the equipment before embarking on our journey. Regular stops with explanation of history and highlights (plus photo op's !), were well-timed and placed to take advantage of the surroundings. Definitely worth doing and would do again when visiting Valencia. Thanks to both Segway Anyway and Clemencia.

David was a great guide, funny and engaging! We really enjoyed the tour and it was nice to have it be private so we could adapt it to what we wanted to see. Went with my 3 teens and they loved the segways

AWESOME FAMILY FUN Segways were a fabulous way to see so much of the city in such a short time and our guide David was so fun for us all inc the teenage kids and knowledgeable and made sure we all felt safe and had fun 10/10 recommend We had never used Segways but got the hang of it quickly and felt safe if I can work it out at 44 and feel safe anyone can lol

Good way to learn a little about the city's history and see the City of Arts and Sciences. The segways were in good shape and our guide, David, was funny and personable. Perhaps a little more photo opportunities would have made the tour great.

We toured part of old town and then went by the modern Arts and Sciences section on our way to the beach - all on Segways with David as our guide. It was amazing! David is a wonderful guide.

A.azing experience we had a fantastic time this was all thanks to Santiago he was a brilliant and very informative and fun guy .he took all the time we needed to talk and small breaks learned a lot about the city frm him aswell .would highly recommend Santiago great guy at his job .thank you .

We had a mixed age group from 7 to 15. (And two 40-somethings) - every one of us absolutely loved our time today with Santiago on the Segways. So much fun to be had. Zipping around the streets and the parks. It was absolutely chucking it down and we got soaked to the skin. But it was hilarious. Our 7 year old was completely able to keep up. Our 12 year old got to play about while we were having “the talky bits”. She loved it. It ticked all the boxes for everyone. València has so many cycle paths everywhere with many motorised scooters, bikes sharing the paths so it was a brilliant way to see the city. And our tour guide was brilliant with everyone. None of us had ever been on Segways before. We all picked it up straight away.

Santiago was the best guide! My family of 5 had a private tour. None of us had ever been on a Segway and it was very easy. We saw the old city as well as the arts and sciences. He made stops along the way and pointed out some interesting facts about the city. He also took photos for us and even a video of us all riding. It was by far the most fun experience and tour we had in our 10 days in Spain. 10/10 highly recommend and thanks again, Santiago!

David was great! We really enjoyed our tour. We saw a lot of places and learned a lot about Valencia. We also enjoyed riding the Segways.

We had an amazing segway tour with our guide Erica, she was absolutely amazing… and the tour was one of the best city tours… we did a lot of fun and pictures.

Our guide took us through beautiful parts of Valencia parks on the way to the Science and Arts buildings and stopped frequently to point out interesting trees or flowers on the way. The Science and Arts buildings were so beautiful that my husband looked up briefly, and his wheel caught a post and he was thrown face-down on the pavement. Our tour guide expertly worked with the Science Museum security to get us into their infirmary where the on-duty nurse cleaned the multiple wounds and got the bleeding stopped. Our guide was caring, paid great attention to our status and got us back to the starting point where we caught a taxi back to the ship where he got stitches in his lip. So even with this unfortunate accident, I have to give our guide and the tour five stars. The lesson...while you are on the Segway, don't take your eyes off the path and pay attention to how close you are to edges, posts and curbs. The guide told us this, but since we were experienced on Segways, I think my husband was a little TOO comfortable and forgot the rules for a second. And make sure your helmet fits well...the helmet likely saved my husband from a concussion.

It is my wife's birthday so we booked a Segway tour. Neither of us had done this before but with the help from our brilliant guide David we soon mastered the Segways. The tour was fantastic and the sites are beautiful. David done a brilliant job of let us know the history of all the sites we visited and his English was better then my Spanish. If you are going to do a Segway tour this is the company and ask for David. He is brilliant. Rory and Abi.

We had a private tour (didn't know we'd booked a private one!) with SJ, a super funny guide from Argentina. We took a leisurely Segway down to the arts and sciences centre and got loads of hints and tips on where to eat and drink for our stay. The tour was relaxed and at no point did we feel rushed. We even went back to hire bikes the next day and cycle to the beach (via the best toilets in Valencia in the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Make sure to not miss these!).

A must do when I’m Valencia. Our guide Yuri made the visit to the City of Science and Art in Valencia a very informative and fun filled ride on the Segway. We went through the Turin gardens and riding the Segway was a unique experience.

A must do!!! We did a 90 minute private tour with David and it was really fun.. he made the experience knowledgeable and fun.. some of us were trying the Segway for the first time and he was really patient with the teaching process.. by the end of the tour we were very confident with the Segway.. fun way to see a part of Valencia! We did the Parks Segway experience at Valencia! It was an amazing tour and the guide Santiago was really friendly. He did a a fab tour taking us to some historic places and then also recommended some great places to eat and drink for the rest of our trip. The tour is highly recommended. We had an awesome Segway tour thru the river park and along the arts and sciences boulevard. David the guide was very entertaining and was truly passionate about his city.

I highly recommend this tour. We had a great experience. David was our tour guide and we had a great time with him. He cared and inquired about what we wanted to do and worked with us through the tour. He also was our photographer and supplied us with great pictures. The equipment was in excellent working order and it was an all around good time.

With 5 of us we did the Segway tour with Yuri. One of us was inexperienced and Yuri was very empathetic and did a great job in instructing and letting her feel good. The tour was very good with all the highlights you can get and also we got time to play and swing free with our Segways. Great time with the private tour guide Simo. 90 minutes went by flying. Definitely a great way to see the Turia park and city of art and science, also learning about the cat houses in the park. Highlight was the stop at the great Calatrava architecture.

We booked a segway tour during our anniversary break in Valencia, It has to be the best way to explore the city & one of the safest as much of the tour is along cycle lanes & through the park. Fedor our tour guide was fantastic, he had an excellent knowledge of the area & was fluent in English. He took time to show us the key areas & relayed the history of Valencia along the way! A must activity whilst in Valencia!!

We spontaneously booked a tour and it was just perfect! We saw very nice places outside of the city and everything was explained very well. Next year we will book the big tour.

Our tour guide was Yuri, he was super energetic, good English, great explanation of Valencian history, solid tutorial of how to use a Segway, attention to detail concerning safety and he was pretty funny so highly recommend!!
