I recently stayed at the Sercotel Sorolla Palace and had a lovely experience overall. It’s a beautiful hotel with generally good staff, though there are definitely a few areas where the guest experience could be polished. The Positives: The Rooms: The highlights of my stay were definitely the accommodations. My room was big, spacious, and very comfortable. AC in the room is very good. The breakfast was very good. Hotel price wise, it is definitely worth it! Sleep Quality: The quality of the beds was excellent—I got a fantastic night's sleep. Bathroom: The toilet and shower facilities were great, modern, and perfectly clean. The Drawbacks: The Pool: It’s worth noting that the pool is very small, so it can feel a bit crowded and isn't ideal if you're looking to swim proper laps. Food & Beverage (F&B): This was the main disappointment. There is a noticeable lack of proper F&B outlets on-site. The room service menu is incredibly limited and the prices are very expensive for what you get. Service & Product Knowledge: When dining at the hotel restaurant, the two girls working as staff unfortunately had no idea what drinks were available and showed a general lack of product knowledge. They were pleasant enough, but definitely need better training. Pro-Tip for Future Guests: If you are looking for better dining options, just head across the street. The hotel directly opposite has much better F&B options for roughly the same sort of pricing. Despite the food and pool shortcomings, it is still a lovely hotel and I truly enjoyed my stay thanks to the great room and comfortable bed. I would stay here again, but I’d just plan to eat out!

Overall it is a pretty decent place, but they need to work on the restaurant service. They messed up our order completely, and we waited a long time for our food. Luckily they realize the challenges and were very nice about it, so we’re giving 4-stars. The pool is very underwhelming, but it is nice that is on a roof. The sauna was good and hot. The drinks at the pool are way overpriced.
I stayed three nights at this hotel as a female traveler and I found it very safe and reassuring. The rooms are clean, and housekeeping does an excellent job every day. The housekeeping staff truly work very hard and deserve recognition. The reception team is also very professional. However, I do find it a bit excessive to charge for bottles of water. I can understand that bottled water may be paid, but at least one complimentary bottle should be offered upon arrival in the room. After a long flight, sometimes you just want to drink some water without having to pay two euros for a bottle. Having to pay immediately for water feels a little disappointing, especially since even many hotels in Geneva offer a complimentary bottle of water in the room. Aside from that, the value for money is excellent. Everything was very good, and the breakfast was also very complete. The breakfast team was extremely kind and welcoming.
The hotel is excellent overall. Although it is located a bit outside the city center, it is very well connected by public transportation. A tram stop right next to the hotel provides a direct route to the beach, and there is also a bus option available. Additionally, just across the street, you can catch a bus that goes straight to the city center, which makes getting around very convenient. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of dining options. The hotel staff is outstanding, and the breakfast team truly deserves a perfect score for their friendliness and service. The pool was a bit too cold for this time of year, but still acceptable. The room/apartment we stayed in, located on the top floor, was fantastic — spacious, clean, and with a beautiful view.
Comfortable and well-suited stay for a business trip. Very friendly and professional staff, excellent location, and a great breakfast with fresh and varied options. Parking was convenient, and the availability of EV chargers is a big plus. Points to improve: a slight smell can occur if the sink is left open, and elevator availability can sometimes be limited (though it can encourage using the stairs).
