Employees are working hard to make your stay enjoyable, however the hotel is a serious let down. No facilities in the hotel to speak of. The roof terrace is contracted to a third party and open from Wednesday , or is closed for private functions. The terrace downstairs is never setup. The entrance looks really uncared for. For breakfast, sausages, eggs, bacon are left on ordinary dishes so, if you missed their arrival on the buffet all is cold. Room coffee trays are the ones you expect in a B&B. But memory foam mattresses are great. The location is handy for the beach and late afternoon get a very welcome breeze.

Nice hotel close to the beach, port and a couple of nice restaurants. However, the room is quite small. The choice for breakfast is limited and some dishes were cold e.g. scrambled eggs.
We are very disappointed with Hotel Altarazanas, they left us on the street, we had a reservation made and paid for 11 nights, we contacted the Hotel a week earlier and warned them that we would be late by one day, they confirmed that there was no problem, the evening when we landed in Valencia, we received a message that our reservation had been canceled due to no-show, provided that they had been warned about our delay by one day. We experienced horror, the Hotel did not answer the phone. This is absolutely incorrect.
I stayed here on a business trip in June 2026. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to both the marina and the beach. I also found the room itself to be clean and in fairly good condition. I was able to borrow an iron and ironing board and the bathroom and shower were decent. There were a few downsides to the stay. When I checked in, the air conditioning in my room was faulty and beeping intermittently (during a heatwave). It took multiple phone calls and several trips down to reception after midnight to address it, as the system is centrally restricted. The issue was only resolved once I insisted on changing rooms. The breakfast could also be improved - the selection was quite limited and the dining room warm. Lastly, while the area is practical for getting around, there were homeless people and individuals "socialising" in the square directly outside at night, which made the nights noisy on occasion. I recommend bringing earplugs if you stay here.
My fiancé and I stayed in hotel Atarazanas for 4 nights. The hotel is close to the beach but you can also take the bus to and from the old city. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are also OK and the location of the hotel is also quiet during the night. Breakfast was also nice. Nice view of the square from the room.
