If you are reading reviews to decide whether or not to stay here, let me save you the trouble and tell you BOOK IT!!! You will not be disappointed! We just came back from our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking. We stayed in a suite, and had a clear view of the ocean. It is so cool to wake up and look out your balcony over the lush rainforest and see the ocean. The suite was plenty of space for us. Nice huge shower and a bathtub that has rainforest views. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was immaculate. They clean up the room in the mornings and evenings. A plus to the suite is that it is steps away from the pool and outdoor areas. The entire resort is beautifully maintained. It is a small resort, which is one reason we chose it. There were only about 3-4 other couples there at the same time. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. I think we had a great mixture of relaxing at the resort and also exploring the region. The resort has a long list of activities in the region, and they help you plan. We hiked the waterfall trail at the resort, went to Corcovado National Park, Nauyaca Waterfall, Whale's Tail Beach, and stopped at Rainmaker Park on our way back to San Jose. If we left early in the morning, the staff would pack us a breakfast to take with us. We spent a full day lounging at the resort, which was perfect. The staff waited on us all day, making sure our drinks were full. Most people are out exploring during the day, so it was nice to basically have the place to ourselves! The food was so good!!!! For breakfast and lunch, there are menus that stay the same each day. My favorite breakfast was the avocado toast, and my favorite lunch was the tuna ceviche! Dinner is different every night. It is a 4 course meal. One of my favorite parts of the day was listening to the staff explain the dinner menu! The drinks were great as well! My husband and I especially loved the La Mula. What really makes the resort stand out is the staff. They were extremely attentive and really made the effort to get to know us! Jason and Andrey were are primary servers throughout the week, and we enjoyed them so much! I was very impressed that they remembered our food preferences throughout the week! Vianney was behind the bar serving up amazing drinks. We did not meet the chefs, but as I said before, the food was delicious! Allan, the general manager, came to check on us several times throughout our stay. Adrian was the primary concierge that we interacted with, and he was very helpful. I had a Swedish massage by Kay that was fantastic. My husband had a wonderful deep tissue massage! The atmosphere at the resort is very laid back luxury. As for attire, be sure your outfits are light and airy! The Costa Rica humidity is intense! Overall, I would give the resort a 10/10 if I could!

My husband and I booked RP for our honeymoon in June - "off season". We stayed in one of the Puma treehouse. The place was beautiful with many amenities and fun places to visit on the ranch. Our room was well kept and cleaned when we left for activities. The concierge was always helpful in helping us plan activities and booking them for us. The waitstaff was pleasant and the food (complimentary breakfast and 4 course dinner) was wonderful! The drive up the mountain to Rancho is a little scary if you are not used to it, but a 4x4 vehicle and experienced driver can make it. If not, the staff offers to drive you too and from your adventures. We experienced rain 2/6 days we were here and brought some board games for that time. The tree house does have an amazing view with open screen windows, and no one around. We got used to it and it felt like home. We definitely recommend if you are looking for a pampered getaway!

We just returned from a weeks stay at Rancho Pacifico and really don’t know what to say but Thank You to the RP family. The extended trip and exhilarating ride up the road to RP is more than worth it. The property and accommodations are remarkable. The staff carefully sees to every detail or want with warmth & attentiveness. Within minutes of arrival you feel like family. The food is exceptional, from the creative menu selections, varied cuisine and outstanding presentation. All five star. Location, views and experiences all unforgettable. A special Thanks to Adrian, Sharron, Jason, Andres, and Arbid for making our stay memorable. It was difficult to say goodbye upon our departure. Rancho Pacifico is tucked away in an elevated forest with spectacular views, food, and service. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and cannot recommend it more. The experience was intimate as there are only a limited amount of guests at a given time and you will become well acquainted with the staff by the end of your visit. The abundance of wildlife surrounding the premises made stay all the more special and we would not hesitate to return!
